10 Alvon's Goal & New Clothes

Meanwhile in the castle Alvon is on the kings throne laughing to himself as knights charge at him. After burning them to ash he says "if I've known taking over would be this easy I'd done it ages ago AHAHAH." A gate opens and a hellhound jumps out attacking a knight. And out walks a beautiful demon wearing black and red.

"Alvon what are you doing now." She asks annoyed. "Ahh Erith it's been a bit since you've graced me with your presences." He says snickering.

"Galith demands an answer." She says. "Tell him I'm training to take over when he's gone. There's no way for him to recover after what Argus did to him." He says

"Are you a trader too?" She asks. Alvon stands up from his throne and walks over to Erith he places his hand on her face. "One day soon you'll be serving me as your master." He says caressing her face.

"Sickening never touch me again or you will lose your hand." She says. Alvon's hand ignites with hellfire. "Careful my flames are hungry." After Alvon says that to her she goes in a gate. "Now" he faces the remaining knight "you will serve me or I'll turn you into ash." He says mad with power

Back to Argus's group "Also I've informed an old friend from the church he's on his way with his help we'll be able to fight full force." Gavin says. "What makes him special?" Argus asks. "He's the Sword Saint Quasar."

Everyone but Argus is shocked. "First the Crimson Phoenix now the Sword Saint." Saia says. "Who?" Argus asks. "You've been around for 300 years and haven't of him. He has god's blessing he's like you but a human." Meldy says.

"So he has a long life span?" Argus asks. "Yes but his power is off the charts. His sword is called The Cracked Light he KILLED the last demon lord." Meldy says.

"Oh I guess he's a big deal then." Argus says nonchalantly. "Yes he is. We'll meet him at 4 o'clock in the church outside of town." Gavin says to the group.

"How did you contact him I've never heard of long-range telepathy?" Argus asks. "With his rune we can communicate through it no matter the distance." Gavin says to the confused Argus.

"Wait you've never seen a Rune before?" Seben asks Argus. "Not What your describing." He answers. "Ooh head master Gav can we get Argus a rune?" Vanessa asks. "I suppose so." He says

"Wait can I block communication with it?" Argus asks. "I mean yeah I suppose." Gavin says. "You don't want to talk to me?" Vanessa says pouting.

"Anyways I think we should look around town until we need to meet up with Sir Quasar." Gaz says. "good idea i want to see the situation. But I don't think all of us traveling around town is a good idea." Argus says.

"Silica and I will stay here with the king." Saia says. "Yes I can't really walk through the streets. But when the time comes I'll join you to meet Sir Quasar." The king says

"I'll scout around." Seben says. "You'll probably abandon us." Argus tells him. "No I'm choosing to stay and fight. I'll prove to you guys my true nature." He says

"Me and Gavin will go see what the ruckus was a few blocks away." Gaz says. "Yeah apparently there's a sinkhole." Gavin says.

"A sinkhole but the land should be solid." The king says. "We'll go find out." Gaz says. Lastly there's Argus, Lilly, Meldy, and Vanessa.

"Argus can I see a Crimson potion I want to study it?" Vanessa asks. Argus opens a gate and grabs a fortify potion he passes it to her.

"I'm going to need a guide so Meldy your coming with us." Argus says. "What am I doing?" She asks. "Lilly needs some better clothes. So we need you." Argus says. "Ah okay." She says agreeing

"Aww you three look like a family." Gaz says almost mockingly. Vanessa and Saia seem unhappy at those words. They glare at Meldy.

"Hmm that's not a bad idea." Argus says.

"WHAT!" Vanessa and Saia yell. "Yeah I realize I stand out too much and Alvon would recognize me." He turns to Meldy "Come on let's go honey." he grabs her arm and Lilly's and they leave first.

After walking a block Argus lets out his laughter. "Ahahaha did you hear them. Ah I owe Gas for that one." He says. "Why did you do that to me?" Meldy asks.

"I wanted to see how Vanessa would react." He says. "I get the feeling you like her." Lilly says hiding a smile. Argus looks at her and she looks away. "Yeah well don't do that to me again." Meldy asks. "Think of it this way your going on a date with Crimson Phoenix. Eh eh that do anything to you." He asks.

"Uh... That sounds amazing but I wouldn't call this a date you know." Meldy says. "True. So where's a place to shop for clothing?" Argus asks. "Follow me." Meldy leads the way

Meanwhile Gaz and Gavin are investigating the sink hole. As they approach they see two guards dragging body's out of the hole and they overhear their conversation. "Damn this is the 16th body." One says. "It wouldn't be too bad if all the other body's were intact like this one." The other says

The two guards see Gavin and Fax and they greet the headmaster. "What happened?" Gavin asks. "Well this leads to an underground tunnel system it looks like slaves were being held here. We're still unsure but a bunch of collars are left on the ground. Well we need to get back to work excuse us." the guards leave

"Did Argus do that to the slave traders?" Gavin asks looking at the pieces of bodies that were pulled out. "Meldy said he could remove the collars so this must be his doing right." Gaz says.

"I'm afraid what will happen if we anger him." Gavin says. They both gulp

"Achoo" Argus sneezes. "Ah who's bad mouthing me?" Argus asks. "What?" Meldy asks. "Nothing"

They made their way to the clothing store once inside Lilly is looking at some clothes. "Go ahead pick something." Argus says to her. Lilly heads off and searches for the right clothes.

"You do seem like a good parent." Meldy says. "Heh well I know what it's like to be without a family so I want to help Lilly." He says.

Lilly finds a nice leather tunic, pants, and a pair of boots with a purple cloak. After she changed she finds Meldy and Argus.

"Nice color choice." Argus says.

After paying for it they're back on the streets outside is a girl wearing a modified purple and black shozoku with a scarf wrapped around her neck to her mouth. She the same height as Lilly. She's looking at a frilly dress in the window. She turns and bumps into Argus.

She doesn't apologize and tries to walk past him. "Wow some rude people today huh." He says looking at her. She turns around and looks at Argus she holds her hand out to shake.

When Argus grabs her hand she uses her other hand and grabs his forearm and then flings him over her Argus does a flip and lands on his feet. When he turns around she's gone.

"Where'd she go?" He asks angrily. "She just disappeared." Meldy says. "Ohh if I ever see her again I'll…."  he gets cut off "you were a little rude." Lilly says. "Whatever let's go back to the others." He says full of rage.

They make their way back to everyone and the time has come head towards the church.
