Affection Gone Dark

Emelikah has never been normal and when she turned 21, her vision changed. As a child, she used to be told a fairytale that forbids relationships between humans and other species; in order to prevent breeding between different species, Mother Nature implanted a curse on all species. Should two souls fall in love, one will die. Of course, that detail is always forgotten because otherworldly things like beasts, monsters, and the supernatural were all believed to be myths. Now when Emelikah meets Obsidian, a beast that has watched over her from birth, for the first time, she will have to come to terms that what she is seeing....is real. While Obsidian may be a stranger to Emilikah, Obsidian knows almost everything about and is fond of Emilikah.
