1 Chapter 1- Force to play a game.

"Your total is 23.6$...miss." said a young female cashier with a pause in between as she looked at a feminine youth. She couldn't distinguish the gender of the youth in front of her, so she went with a safer approach or so she thought.

The youth let out a slight sigh of frustration and took out his wallet to pay before picking up the groceries and leaving the store to continue with his day. Putting back his headphones to continue listening to music, he resumed his way back home.

He wore a casual white short sleeved shirt, a pair of slightly baggy jeans and black white sneakers. He had smooth and spotless skin with a rather slender figure, emerald green eyes and onyx black hair and although cut short he was still confused as a girl several times.

This didn't bother him much anymore, well maybe if too many people started then he would talk up, but if it was a single person that he would meet only one time then he didn't bother unlike what he did when he was younger. He also didn't know why he looked like that, as even doctors had given up after several tests without any major result except the basic stuff.

Walking through the sidewalks of the road, he quickly made his way home. Unlocking the front door a wave of cool air splashed on him and relieving him from the heat of the day, he then proceeded to place the groceries on the kitchen counter and his bag on a chair.

Then he began to prepare lunch for himself and his sister that would arrive sooner or later. Shortly after the food was ready, the youth heard the front door opening and his sister making a sigh of relief as well before throwing her bag on the couch.

Making her way to the kitchen, the aroma of the food made her stomach gurgle so she quickly served herself and joined the youth on the table. Before opening her mouth to annoy her brother.

"Yuki, do you want to join me in a game? I'm not taking no as an answer." said the sister. She was annoying at certain points and kinda forceful sometimes like this, but overall she was a good sister. Or so the youth or rather Yuki thought.

"Haaaa…" Yuki let out a sigh as he kinda knew what was going to happen. "Do I have an option Allison?" asked Yuki as he looked at his sister while lowering his fork.

Allison had a similar slender figure to what he had but more womanly and fit, due to exercising daily from a young age. Something that Yuki adapted from her years later. She also had similar fair and smooth skin like Yuki.

Her eyes had a turquoise color, while her hair touched her waist in a dark brown which was usually tied in a ponytail or were let flow freely. While her assets were good, giving her a slight hourglass figure.

She currently wore black sports shorts, a white short sleeved shirt and black sneakers. One of the many casual and sporty attires she prefers to wear.

"No you don't." replied Allison with a smile on her face, as a chill ran through Yuki's spine.

Knowing that he couldn't escape it, Yuki decided to give in as he thought that she wasn't the only one involved in this. "And the game is?" asked Yuki. "It's the new VRMMO, Aethereal Realm."

Yuki couldn't say that he didn't know or heard the game as it was advertised quite a bit and by a bit you could say that even eldery knew of it as it could be seen everywhere, it was in ads, covered in tv, radio, site and much more which had began to become annoying.

"Just so you know this time I'll prefer my silence and privacy if you want me to play." Said Yuki, as last time he was dragged around with Allison and her friends. Although there were some fun and exciting moments he quickly quit as he was bored of being dragged on.

"Fine. Well, I might have overdone it a little bit back then." Allison said while she stared away, before Yuki sarcastically complained. "Right.. A bit"

"Anyways, I'll go and buy the gear in the afternoon, so bye for now." was the last thing Allison said before putting her plate in the sink and leaving for her room before Yuki could mutter a word. "Also make your account by today." Yuki heard her sister shouting to him before closing her room door again.

With a sigh, Yuki also placed his plate in the sink after he was done eating and retired to his room as well. Relaxing for a bit, Yuki decided to take a nap for sometime.

Waking in up in the afternoon Yuki got up and finished an assignment that he needed to deliver and after he saw that he had plenty of free time left he went to create his account in Aethereal realm.

Going into their site, Yuki could see endless pictures and screenshots of sceneries, towns, cities, dungeons and more that existed within the game. As well as a forum that was filled with praises from people.

He then went to create his account to get it over with. Clicking on it, it requested the usual stuff such as email, password etc. Once that was over, Yuki thought that he would jump in a character creation but that did not happen.

It only said that the company was thankful that he had joined them in this fantastic journey.

Thought Yuki was that it was a bit weird, but then again that section might be done in the game so he didn't overthink it. And sometime later Allison showed up knocking on his door, she held a box with the gear inside.

After she passed it over to Yuki she left to calibrate and download whatever was needed for the gear, as tomorrow was the official launch and release of the game, and many people were hyped about it. That included Allison and somewhat Yuki as well.
