7 Chapter 7

"Hmm? Sigh. You never know anything do you. Tsk tsk tsk." Edna seemed disappointed.

"Edna! Get away from him!" Cadence came charging in the the living room.

"Oops... Catch me if you can hehe!" Edna disappeared into thin air.

"... She's outside." Cadence ran out the house. She left the door open. I was really confused, all these things happened so fast. "Dad stay inside." I ran out and shut the door.

"Edna I told you not to go to Luke after telling you about him!" Cadence drew out her blade. Were they about to fight? What was the reason?!

"Awe is someone mad that I talked to their man hehe!" Edna charged up a fireball with her wand and launched it at Cadence. "Nonsense! How dare you say such a thing! Luke is definitely not my man. He's... Far from it!!" Cadence dodged to the left and the fireball exploded when it hit the ground, causing flames to scatter everywhere. The radius was so wide it was catching up to Cadence.

"Cadence watch out!" I warned her.

"What?!" Cadence swung her katana creating winds to push the flames away from her.

"That won't do hehe!" Edna begun to store a blue light in her wand. She pointed at the ground next to Cadence and shot a blue laser. It froze the ground crystal clear. While Cadence was backing up she stepped on the ice and slipped. She fell badly.

"Ahahahahaa you can't win Cadence!" Edna started to laugh. It sucks being the one on the sidelines just watching someone lose like this...

"Edna... I won't allow myself to lose another fight. I've lost too many and you're not going to win this one!" Cadence pushed herself right off the ice and landed on the ice free ground. "Aerospark give me strength!" Cadence yelled. She started glowing. Her katana grew immensely. Into a broad sword. "Edna! Brace yourself!!" She charged towards Edna in a faster speed than last time.

"Are you stupid Cadence! You know you can only use Aerospark 3 times and if you use all 3 you die! Why waste it on me!" Edna said.

"Because... I need to prove to Luke and you... And the Knights of Pale Lights that I'm not a weak superhuman. Witness....My STRENGTH!!!" Cadence caught up to Edna and she swung her mighty sword downwards on Edna.

"Aghhhhhh!!!!!" It looked like sparks were flying off of Edna. Did the blade go through her or not. Or... Did she activate a shield! Cadence slammed Edna into the ground and the power was so strong everything burst apart. Rocks rose from the ground creating stalagmites almost, and dust covered the area. I started coughing violently.

Cadence fainted on the ground.

"Cadence!!"
