Predators

LEON's POV

"Hey get back here, you thief!" a man who wore a heavy looking armor shouted at me. I continued to run and run and run. That's the only thing I can do right now, anyway.

"I need to outrun them or else I'm done for! Unless--" I exclaimed as I continued to run as fast as I could. These Empire soldiers are faster than they look... Darn it!

"We will catch you at all cost for your head's bounty is far more expensive than your life itself!" said one of the soldiers who wanted to catch me.

"Agh... You persistent lot leave me with no choice!" I shouted at them as I pulled my knife out of my pouch. I had no plan on killing these guys but now I have to...

"First Skill: Phantom Raid Slaughter," I shouted and immediately disappeared into the shadows.

I then teleported at one of the soldiers' behind and twisted his head.

Crack!

One down.

I jumped at another's shoulders and struck my knife at his head. Blood gushed out from his forehead and he fell dead on the ground.

Clang! His armor sounded.

One left.

Their leader was getting afraid and was about to flee when I appeared in front of him.

"Boo," I said and then showered him with multiple knife attacks. First, I hit his legs which made him kneel. Next, I struck both of his hands making him scream... And for the final blow, I pierced his neck. He laid dead on the ground as he bathed at his own blood.

Bloodbath.

"Sorry... But I'm under orders to eliminate those who are within a kilometer radius from our camp," I whispered and walked away towards the dark forest.

After a few minutes, I finally arrived at our base camp.

"Who goes there?" asked a familiar voice.

I jumped out from the dark forest and a bald man with a large body and armor greeted my vision.

"It's me, Elias," I said and he immediately approached me.

"Thank heavens you're safe, Leon! Sir Valmeur has been worried sick!" Elias exclaimed as he opened the tent for me. I entered the tent and I saw an old man wearing white robe with a beard that was as long as a woman's hair kneeling down before a blue crystal.

"Sir Valmeur... Leon has returned," Elias informed the old man.

Valmeur stood up quickly and hugged me tight.

"Thank the heavens thou art safe, child!" he said as he held my shoulders.

"Yeah... Of course I am. I don't need your gods to keep me safe. I can do it on my own..." I replied at him coldly. He was paralyzed for a few seconds but spoke again after.

"Anyways, tell me what news you bring as we eat, child. Thou must've been hungry!"

"That, indeed."

I sat down on a chair and Valmeur handed me a large bread, tea and some cheese.

"The Empire's troops are continually growing in numbers as usual. They're taking more and more youth to make them knights that serve the Emperor," I said then took a bite out of the bread, "Yesterday, I acquired information that the Empire would invade Clyptah in five days. That would mean there're four days left before Clyptah falls into ruin..."

"How cruel... We should inform the Kingdom quickly before their castle burns to dust!" Valmeur said as he stood up. I felt the anger within him.

"We should ready our men... I'll head back to the town and gather as much info and resources as I can before we head towards the Kingdom."

"We'll leave tomorrow. Keep safe, child!" Valmeur patted my back as I ran outside then back to the thick forest.

TIGR'E's POV

"34... Hyah! 35! Thirty-- Gah!" I shouted in pain when a large bodied man punched my stomach. I spat blood as soon as his rock hard fist hit my body.

"Tigr'e... You've caused us a lot of trouble..." he said. His deep toned voice was quite terrifying. I grinned upon hearing those words.

"Correction. YOU'RE the ones that've caused me lots of trouble," I said as I clenched my fist.

"Aquilla's Curse!" I shouted and my fist was enveloped in darkness and changed form that of a beast's claws.

I cut his body in perfect half and blood poured out from his body.

"One... Who's next?" I whispered and then gazed at those soldiers who were still left breathing. They screamed in fear and ran for their lives as soon as they saw my hand.

"No one left behind~" I smiled as those words came out of my mouth.

I speedily chased one soldier who was running and torn his body into shreds.

"Two~" I counted.

I then eliminated another then another then another till there was no Empire soldier left behind.

"Twenty five... You amateurs should learn your lesson," I said and after a few minutes, the darkness that covered my fists vanished.

"Too bad it's too late though~" saying these words, I slowly walked on the dim litted and blood covered streets of the Empire.

CATH's POV

"You have awoken at last, Catherine," a voice of an old man may be heard all throughout the room. My eyes were opened yet my vision was blurry... W-Where... am I..? My mind's all buggy...

"How was your trip?" he asked me.

"Trip from where..?" I innocently asked the old man still with no clear vision of him.

"You can't fool me, girl... But let's see what you can say... How about a trip from the Divine?"

I was speechless for a few seconds.

"Speechless, are you? What few things did you learn there, young lady? I heard that the High Priest from the Northern Temple chose you as the next wielder of the Divine Blade. Yet we did not find it at the temple... Where is it?" he interviewed me.

"T-The Temple!" I shouted.

Yes... Everything's sinking in now... I am the chosen wielder of the Divine Blade. And as its wielder, a pact with the Divine must be made. A ritual... A transportation to the heavenly realm to learn the ways of the valkyrie.

"What did you do to the High Priest?!" I shouted at him with anger as I tried to approach him but that was when I realized that I was tied down by a blue glowing device.

"The people of your Temple have met their oblivion, child... It is only you who we have kept alive... Now tell me... Where. Is. The. Damn. Divine. BLADE!" the previously composed old man became impatient.

"How dare you hurt the people of the Temple... How dare you kill my comrades?!" I said as a bright light shone and covered my body. The ties that bound me were broken and I was free.

"W-What?! That was a 12XIAS3 model - the most powerful chain device that can seal down even the Collosus! H-How can you--" the old man slowly took a few steps backward in fear of me eliminating him.

"Feel the anger of the Divine! Blade Dance: Heaven's Wrath!" I shouted and two rapiers made of light formed on my hand. In light speed, I struck both of the blades at the old man's belly and he fell dead on the floor.

"This is retribution."
