1 Elia Martell

AN: Why could I totally see this being just an Elia Martell fanfic about her doing her best to protect and prepare her children for the future. Also I'm already aware that Aegon is in fact the second born meaning Rhaenys is older then him but I'm switching it up.

Silence filled the red keep as if nothing could ever possibly go wrong or maybe it was the calm before the storm. In the crown prince's room an olive-skinned beauty rested. Beside her rested her two children Aegon her white-haired prince and Rhaenys her white-haired princess. Marrying Rhaegar may have been the best thing to ever happen to her.

Sadness filled her as she thought about her husband his obsession with Prophecies and Destiny had grown to be more than a problem. She loved him but the lengths he had gone had led to a war, the castle did little to fill her with safety. She needed her white knight, and with him not being here she would feel much safer if they were in Dorne.

Something inside of her pushed her to stand up, to look outside. Trusting her womanly intuition she stood to her feet rushing to one of the Windows she looked outside, the soldiers stood in defense. It wasn't like any other day she could tell they were stiff as if they were filled with dread.

"Mommy what's wrong," Aegon looked to his mother with a pouting expression. Her standing from the bed had shaken him from his nap, she wasn't as warm as his father but sleeping next to her was almost as good.

"Nothing my little dragon," Elia lied through her teeth she put on her best smile as she looked at her son.

"How about we go see the dragon's?"

Aegon's eyes lit up as he heard her but they quickly dimmed, "Father promised he would take me to see the dragon's."

"Daddy will be back soon maybe we can go see them and you can tell him all about it when he arrives. I'm sure he'll be happy to see how smart you've grown." Elia had been a mother for a couple of years now she knew how to be quick on her toes and Aegon immediately agreed.

Elia walked back over to the bed leaning down she kissing her son on the forehead before turning to the sleeping Rhaenys. "Alright princess time to get up."

Elia picked her up as Rhaenys rubbed her little hand on her eyes. She didn't stay awake for long resting her head on her Mother.

"Come on mommy let's go," Aegon's enthusiasm shined through causing Elia to chuckle.

"Mommy just needs to grab one last thing," She lied she would be grabbing two things. Waking towards a shelf she grabbed a purse of coins, reaching to the top of the shelf she grabbed a dagger sheathed in leather. She placed the dagger in the purse before tightening it on her waist. It was tough to do with her dress but she managed, using her other hand she grabbed the hand of Aegon.

As they walked the halls she was greeted by servants, she smiled politely making her way towards the large bones of Dragons. As she was nearing it a plump figure blocked her way, she quickly noticed the lack of servants in her vicinity. She pulled Aegon behind her as she freed her hand from his she placed it above the purse, she could remove it with ease.

"I mean no harm princess, I've readied a ship, it's waiting in the docs it should get you to dorne in no time." Elia knew of the spider and she couldn't think of many reasons he would help her.

"I'm not helping you, I care for no king only the realm and for some reason, I believe what's best for the realm stands behind you." Varys had seen many kings, children are innocent but corruption affected us all. A Prince raised away from the castle he believed that would be an interesting development for the future.

Elia waited no longer grabbing the hand of Aegon she rushed past Varys she wasn't grateful he was doing it for himself he didn't care for her or her children it seemed no one in kings landing did.

She ignored the voice of Aegon begging to stop in look at the dragons she pulled him as fast as she could as they rushed through the passageways created long ago under the castle.

It felt like they had walked forever, Aegon's legs had given out long ago. She carried both of her children, her patience was growing thin and thoughts of turning back had even crossed her mind but soon she saw it the smallest speck of light. Sand, Rocks the smell of the sea, all these things brought relief to her seeing the ship took that to another level.

She smiled quickening her steps, a brown-haired man stepped off of the ship with a smile on his face. Right this way Princess, Ella sighed in content as she climbed aboard the ship.

"TO DORNE," she heard a voice say as she stood aboard the ship. She was sure she was the only guest and these men were surely being paid quite the amount of coin to sneak her away from King's Landing. Looking back at King's landing she could see the current state it was in, she was glad she trusted herself who knows what would've happened if she and her kids had remained.

"Princess Elia welcome aboard The flying Fever my humble abode we'll be in Dorne in no time." The captain of the ship led her to a cabin with a smile on his face.

Reaching the Cabin Elia immediately closed the door behind her she would have locked it if she was able. She laid her children down on the bed before lying down next to them, they were all she currently had at least until they reached Dorne.

She was exhausted both physically and mentally, darkness soon flooded her mind. She spent the next few days on watch the moment any member of the crew tried to make a move on her would be the moment she plunged her dagger into his neck. She had kept her children inside of the cabin in fear of losing one of them to the greed of these pirates. It would take a week at the shortest to reach dorne and with the speed of this ship she was sure they would be there quicker than that.

The ship sailed like the wind, The captain had paid a hefty price to convince the iron born to build him a ship most would have lost their lives dealing with those cunts.

On the fourth night Elia Martell allowed herself to sleep, she held her children tightly as she fell asleep.

As the moon filled the sky two men stood outside the cabin of Elia Martell. They locked eyes as one of them slowly opened the cabin door. He looked inside the sight of a resting Elia greeted him, he signaled for his accomplice to be quiet as he entered the Cabin. Elia was a beautiful woman just the sight of her got his cock stiff sadly he wasn't here for her. Her children rested beside her he wondered which of them would be worth more, the girl was too small and he wasn't into selling little girls so they could be defiled.

The boy, on the other hand, would be a fitting choice if he found the right buyer. The women would pay a king's ransom to have a prince as a slave. He thought of how lucky the little bastard was as he reached down slowly pulling him from the bodice of his mother. Once he had him he paused again looking at Elia just a touch would be enough but he couldn't risk waking her up not when he had a business opportunity sitting in his arms.

He slowly made his way out of the cabin doing his best to close the creaky door behind him. He grinned as he looked towards his friend, they were gonna be rich.

A canoe hung from the side of the ship it was their escape route, they had been a part of the captain's crew for years. Unfortunately, the bastard only cared for himself using their loot to buy this ship, it no longer mattered they would be rich now. If no one would buy the prince in the free cities they could always sell him back to dorne.

They climbed into the canoe, there was no looking back as they lowered themselves into the water.

The Next Morning

Elia Martell Yawned as she stretched her weary arms, her eyes remained closed as she felt around the bed for her children. She smiled as she came in contact with Rhaenys, that soon became confused as she didn't feel Aegon. She opened her eyes looking all around the cabin her little dragon was gone. She quickly grabbed the still sleeping Rhaenys holding her close to her chest she checked for the purse of coin grabbing it she pulled out the dagger. It was still wrapped in its leather holding it tight she rushed out of the door.

"WHERE IS MY SON," She had done her best to hide her panic but now her son was missing. She was surrounded by men who's greed knew no bounds, if the amount that was being promised wasn't so hefty she was sure they would have thrown her off of the ship by now.

"Princess please do your best to remain calm," The Captain stepped forwards with an amicable look on his face.

"My son is missing how do you expect me to remain calm?"

"Check every Cabin on the ship, make sure none of the men are missing while you're at it," The Captain spoke to his second in command before leading Elia back to her Cabin.

"We'll be in Dorne soon, I'm sure the prince is running around some part of the ship, you know how boys are." The captain didn't give her time to reply immediately closing the door.

One of his men stood outside the door awaiting orders, "Make sure she doesn't leave the cabin."

"Captain two of our guys are missing, they must have stowed away with the prince looking to make some quick loot."

"Continue to dorne."

"But captain that's suicide," One of the men said with a frown on his face.

"We don't have much choice, Varys assigned us this job he's surely had one of his spies infiltrate our ship. Either we return the princess to dorne while praying those fuckers don't decide to take our lives or we wait for Varys to do it for them."

Central Plain of Essos

A canoe drifted through the water just off the coast, two men continued to row with all they had as they couldn't wait to be on actual land. Inside that canoe rested a sleeping boy he hadn't awakened since they kidnapped him which they found weird but it made their jobs a hell of a lot easier. As long as he was alive they would find a way to sell him off.
