1 Ordinary me

In the afternooon at a highschool, an ordinary boy seated at the bottom corner of the room, the boy eagerly stares at the clock hanging above the white board.

*The school bell chimes*

"Ah, finally" he says as he slowly leans back on his seat, relaxed. Hmm I wonder if Finn is still at school.

The sound of Finn laughing bashfully, enters the boys ear. He gets up and diligently walks towards the window, wondering what could be so funny.

He opens the window and pokes his head out, he sees Finn surrounded by a handful of girls in the football field. "Typical Finn, I envy him sooo much" He says to himself in a lousy and disappointed way. Guess I'll go home.

*The boy desperately tries to exit the campus without Finn noticing*

"Yeah, hehe I was just luck-" Finn drops the convo soon after seeing the boy. "Sorry ladies but my buddy is waiting for me, see ya around" Finn says in a hurry.

As Finn charges towards the boy, he shouts out "HERE COMES THE SUPER SUPRISE FINN TACKLE!!!" tackling the boy, he lifts him up to his shoulders. "Finn drop me" said the boy in a serious manner. "Alright, alright" Finn says cheerfully.

Could you stop bothering me? Why? Aren't we friends? Listen carefully Finn- "Yes what is it" Finn asked putting his hand on his ear eager to hear what the boy has to say. I don't need friends.....okay? Especially friends like you. Damn bro that hurts, I don't care though, no matter what you say I'll still be by your side.

The boy was moved by Finn's statement, but tried not to show any emotions.

While they were both walking on the side of the road, Finn thinks to himself "Ryan sure has changed, he wasn't like this when we were kids." he says while looking at the boy. "What?" Ryan asked in a clearly annoyed tone. "Hmm wanna go to an arcade? Like the good ol' times?" Finn asked. Ryan was suddenly interested in this idea. "I guess I can blow off some steam" he answered, acting like he didn't care.

*They take a cab to the mall in a city*

Once the two arrived in the arcade, Ryan was amazed at how big the arcade was. "This is the biggest arcade in the whole country did you know" Finn said while looking at the boy with a small grin on his face.

After an hour or two of playing games in the arcade, Finn hears a voice in his head saying "Finn it's almost time" Already?? Ugh, okay, um where are you at? "Head to the restroom, we will meet over there" Finn thinks to himself while clenching his fist. "I believe i'm strong enough now"

Hey um, Ryan i'm heading to the restroom real quick, don't start the next round without me buddy. Yeah sure, make it quick though! "Hmm that didn't seem like him, I wonder if something happend." he wondered to himself, intrigued by how suspicious Finn acted "I guess I'll follow him"

*Ryan follows Finn to the restroom, secretly*

He quietly and carefully opens the door, soon after he entered, he heard someone speaking with an ominous but heavenly sounding voice. He hears the ominous being say the words "Hero, your times has come" Hero? It's probably a voice actor practising for an anime. Ryan thought to himself.

"What is your plan?" the mysterious being asked. "Like I always do, rush in and punch everything." Finn answered. "F-Finn?" Ryan says while miserably leaving the restroom and walking back to resume the game they were playing.

He wasn't even interested about what was happening in the stalls. He paid no attention to the mysterious voice, but to the words "You're our hero" and the fact that it was Finn who is the "Hero".

Through out his whole life he has just been the side-dish, ofcourse he already knew this, but this time it was like he was stabbed on the chest. He always wanted a life full of meaning, he wanted to know if there was a point in him living.

Through out his whole life the only one who got everything was Finn, he got the looks, the brain, the body, he basically could do anything an ordinary man like me couldn't. Ryan was in deep sadness and disappointment towards himself.

While Ryan continued playing the game, a loud bang suddenly came from the restroom Finn was in. Ryan then saw Finn flying out of the restroom wall and hitting mutiple walls before stopping.

A bunch of monsters came out of the hole they created. The monsters had two horns on their head, a tail. and a pair of wings on their backs. There were a bunch of them, a green one, a red one, a yellow one, an orange one, and a blue one.

*Everyone in the area rushed out of the arcade in terror*

Ryan couldn't run knowing that his friend was still there. While he was backing up to secretly head towards Finn, he tripped. One of the demons had noticed him since he had made a loud noise as he fell, the demon suddenly started flying towards Ryan with his mouth open wide getting ready to devour the boy.

Finn, stood up and darted towards Ryan's direction. Whilst darting towards the boy he prepares his right hand for a punch, *POW* he punched the demons head clean off of it's body. "Damn is this the hero's power?" Finn asked himself in awe.

*The rest of the demons were filled with rage after seeing one of their kind treated like an ice cream cake, all of the demons started flying towards them*

Finn lifts Ryan up and places him on his shoulder. "What on earth is going on Finn?!" Ryan asked in anguish and confusion. "I'm sorry I got you involved in this" says Finn. "Yeah no sh*t, but my question is....what in the hell are those things" Ryan said irritatingly. "Ahh those, they're demons" Finn said unpleasantly

"Demons?! oh my god, nothing is making sense right now" Ryan said hysterically. "Don't worry though, apparently I have some sort of special power" says Finn trying to reassure Ryan. "I see, so "thats" why this is happening" Ryan says to himself.

Once they got out of the mall, they were in shock. The whole city is up in flames, demon-like creatures are wreaking havoc everywhere. "Y-You gotta be joking right Finn? This is a dream, right??" Ryan asks while shaking Finn's back with fear in his voice. "Damn it, this can't be happening" Finn says clenching his fists while trying to catch his breath.

The demons who were following them finally caught up to them, Finn turned around and suddenly started attacking the group of demons. "This is all your doing isn't it? You bastards!" Finn shouts in anger and agony.

*Finn goes on a rampage, killing any demon he sees, while Ryan watches, still traumatised from what is currently happening*

After an hour of Finn's rampage, Ryan who is still in the same position and spot even after all that time, not knowing how to handle the situation. Finn goes up to him and slaps his face, waking Ryan up. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what to do..." Ryan says with tears slowly falling from his eyes as the fire around them grows bigger. "It's alright" Finn says, hugging Ryan to give him hope that everything will be alright.

Suddenly a loud crack came from the middle of the road, the whole ground was shaking. The crack grew larger by the second, creating a huge ravine, emitting a scorching hot feeling.

It was so hot that parts of our clothing were slowly turned into ash, heaps of sweat was dripping from all over our body.

Suddenly we heard a voice coming from the bottom of the ravine "HEEEROOOO SHOW YOURSELF" It was a deep and hoarse voice, a voice you only hear in movies, a voice so terrifying it gave off an unimaginable feeling.

We were so petrified, that after hearing that sound it sent shivers through my spine. All we could do was look at the direction of the ravine and wait in suspense of what is soon to come.

I didn't even want to imagine what that "thing" looked like. Suddenly we heard the sound of stone being crushed and turned into ash before hitting the ground. "It's CLIMbing!" I shouted, so terrified that even my voice cracked as I said it.

With a blink of an eye, there "it" was standing before us. It was HUGE it looked similar to the other demons, but it's wings,horns, and tail was four times larger. It gave off an aura that could make you sh*t yourself.

"You there, are either of you are hero by any chance?" asked the demon while pointing his hellish-looking axe at us. "B-Before we answer, who might you be?" Finn said, mustering up enough courage just to speak a few words.

"I am ASMODEUS of LUST, one of the seven devil prince's" it proudly said.

Ryan looked at Finn "chuckling" confused as to why he is reacting that way. "So you're one of the reasons why this is happening huh?" Finn asks confidently."Why yes, this art, this masterpiece, this wonderful destruction, just turns me on" Asmodeus answers in an aroused and excited way.

"This sick bastard" Finn whispers to himself with a look of disgust on his face. "HuuuH what did you just say?" Asmodeus asks as he bends over and places his hand on his ear, to listen closely to what Finn has to say.

"I said you're all sick BASTARDS" Finn shouts out as he rips out the ear of Asmodeus. "AAAAHHHH my ear you brat, I'll kill you for that" It says with killing intent.

"Before I wipe you out of existence I have something to tell you, I'm the hero" Finn says in a sassy and cocky way.

"Oh, the hero huh?" It says, interested in how strong the "hero" is. Come at me I'll let you get the first strike, oh hero *bows with an evil smile*. "Ha, you'll soon regret it" Finn says while powering up a punch.

*He punches Asmodeus, making him fly through the sky, hitting a billboard*

Hmph, I've been training for this big day buddy.

Ryan was soon filled with hope after seeing the demon fly through the sky, "Damn Finn that was awesome" Ryan said suprisingly. "I told you not to worry, didn't I?" Finn says filled with confidence.

The demon gets up and starts flying head first towards Finn, Ryan instantly loses hope again after seeing the demon get back up.

Finn then jumped fist first towards Asmodeus, grabbing both of it's horns and spinning him around before throwing him to the ground. While the demon was stuck in the ground, Finn started pummeling the demons face with no remorse.

"AAAHH please I beg of you stop" The demon says pleading for his life as he gets pummeled. "Shut the hell up" Finn says while beating the living hell out of the demon. "I beg of you please stop, it tickles" The demon says and laughs as he easily gets up, did you really think you hurt me hero? It says as it dusts off the dirt on it's body.

"No way...I hit you with all my strength" Finn says in misbelief while catching his breath. Ryan scared sh*tless and speechless, couldn't say or do anything at that momment.

"Now hero, it's your turn". The demon lifts Finn up and throws him towards a gas station. "The gas station explodes once Finn hits the tanks" But since Finn is a hero, he just gets damaged by it. The demon then leaps onto Finn crushing his ribs, next he threw him up into the sky, once Finn was falling closer to the ground the demon jumps up towards Finn, hitting an uppercut on Finn's broken body.

After all that beating, the demon dropped Finn infront of me. I was so scared that all I did was walk backwards until my back hit the wall and pissed myself since I was startled after hitting the wall.

The demon laughed, so hero? Do you still think you're the savior?

"You only lose, once you've given up" Finn says while desperately holding on the demons leg to get up.

The demon shakes Finn off and kicks him in the face, "Ya still got hope huh?" says the demon. What if I tell you, with the snap of my fingers, this whole earth will be filled with flames from hell, and not a single soul will be alive but you two who are here with me.

Finn says with a small chuckle "You're bluffing". Damn it Finn don't provoke him, Ryan whispered to his friends with his dehydrated lips.

The demon "snaps his fingers" and everything around them went up in flames, turning the buildings,cars,houses,sky train, and road into ash.

Finn tries to stand up desperately whilst mustering up the strength to say "Don't f**k with me, I'm the goddamn hero-" Finn finally stands up with the little strength he has left, ready for a round two, "who was born to save this wor-"

Finn's words were cut short...

"I can't see anything, everything is red" I said as I wiped my face.But to my surprise, all I saw left were two standing legs of someone wearing Finn's shoes, is what I wanted to believe at that momment.

Asmodeus was starting to get annoyed, so he punched Finn to oblivion. "Aww, my bad I didn't mean to kill him right away." said Asmodeus sarcastically.

"N-No way, you're lying right Finn? Right?" This is all a joke, yeah, thats what it is, It's a prank, you always do this to me. "Alright Finn I'm laughing now, come out, come out, where ever you are!!" I shouted with my voice quivering in fear.

Poor human, sorry to say this but....your friend is dead. "HaHa nice try Mr.Lust" I said hysterically. "HA, the poor brat has completely lost it" said the demon while laughing.

I kept on whispering to myself "Wake up, this is just a dream" over and over again. What kind of stupid dream is this, why would I even dream this. Am I going crazy? I asked myself with a loss of hope

"Poor human, let me end your misery" As the demon was about to kill me, I was suddenly carried away into the skies by two uknown-beings who came from nowhere. One of them said to the other "Are you sure this is the only human left in earth 001?" The other answered "I'm sure of it, I don't feel any other heartbeats anywhere anymore"

As we were flying away, a couple demons came from the ravine, kneeling towards Asmodeus one of them asked "My Lord shouldn't we chase after them?" Asmodeus answered "Don't worry that boy is nothing special, and those small fries can't do anything"

While we were in the sky, one of them pulled out a dagger and said "I will be killing you know" After hearing that I suddenly started moving around trying my best to get off. Suddenly I felt something sharp enter my body, I thought to myself "Is this it, Is this how my life ends? What a trash life, I hope I get reborn as a member of the scouts, so I can kill some ugly giants" I said as my last breath of life came out of my mouth.

*Everything goes dark*

Is this what if feels like to be dead? I let out a soft "aah", atleast I feel at ease here. I wonder if this is what it's like for Finn, ooh that damn idiot, always trying to be the hero, even though he technically was I guess.

After awhile, I felt like I was on grass. "I've never felt so relaxed in my whole short life" I said to myself. Huh? Water? I suddenly felt water dropping all over my body. Is that rain? I then opened my eyes, everything was abit blurry at first. Once everything started to clear up. After I could finally see clearly, I saw a huge city with castle in it. "woah is this the middle ages?" I said to myself in amazement. I suddenly heard the sound of a horse galloping away. When I turned around to the direction of the horse, I saw a carriage that was on fire. I saw what looked like a hand sticking out of the broken down carriage.

"Wait what happend to my parents?" Parents? Why did I say that?

My memory started getting fuzzy...soon after I fell to the ground.....as my eyes were slowly closing, I said "Mom...Dad" just before I fell unconscious.
