8 Void Footprint

Whilst the time they arrive, the exams have started. Soon they have taken their places and completed it. After which they had a seminar in the noon. On their way back after a long day, Mythi's saw her friends who suffered through a tired day due to late stay up with her on last night.

As Nasina has alternate week day class planned for this week, She left in between before assuring Mythi on tonight stay up. Lyna said, "I'll catch up little later along with Nasina, as I have a important virtual meeting with a senior."

So Mythi walked back home alone and the past knocks the door, as her thinking goes wild back and forth. She was thinking how her past friends started keeping distance after hearing about her dream.

Once when in a night camp, She was playing truth & dare and informed about her secret to her friends. Later on the next day while trekking, they started keeping their distance. They thought she has some disorder as they saw her cry in dreams and screamed louder in midnight while waking up.

On the way inside the deep forest they formed a group of 3 to 4 people and her so called friends some how left her in between the journey. Mythi was travelling alone for almost 15kms to reach their destination and made it in the next day.

After she lost track of her friends and she went in swirl here and there. Sudden downpour along with thunderstorms in the deep forest made her scramble to ground. She was searching for a place to reside where she found a tall tree with big hole which looks like an immediate shelter.

She was all alone crying for help but no one was around to hear it. As like in her dreams, she was left alone in reality and deep down she thought that was the last day for her in earth. She was quite dumbfounded when she could barely see an animal. She don't know whether it's a wild animal or domestic.

The four legged animal approaches her step by step towards. She was scared and couldn't even cry aloud. She thought it's time to say goodbye to the world and a thought which hits deep is, why still on her last minute she could not find a reason for her dream.

As it is pitch dark, She couldn't see clearly what animal it is? She was about to faint as closer it came. She don't want to see her last minute and closed her eyes as if she is sacrificing herself.

The animal came inside the tree hole and was sitting beside her and placed its paw on her hand. The more she trembles, the more the animal sit closer. Somehow she slept or faint something happened and the one thing she could say is that the animal gave her company.

She felt a four legged animal hugged her closely and made her come out alive. On the morning she woke up and she couldn't find a trace of any animal near by. She got confused whether it is a dream or in real some animal gave company to her till morning.

She don't know want to spend any more time wasting inside the forest. But She doesn't know how to reach back. That's when she noticed an animal foot print, somehow she wanted to follow it. After an hour journey, she couldn't find the foot print to follow anymore.

That's when she realized, she almost reached her place when hearing people's talk. She made her path back finally. Everyone was afraid whether she would make it back or not. Her fake friends cared as if they missed her.

Upon completing the camp, she was found she left alone from her so called friends. Everyone started bullying her and made her think she had some weird disorder problems. As the schooling was about to over, she couldn't care much than her exams.

After she reached her home, a thought of her old days made downpour of tears. When in deep cry, She felt a sudden warm back hug. She turned back to see a "void", but still she could feel that she is being embraced by someone!!!
