[ Don't you think you're going too far? ] I asked Katherine.

[ how? ] Katherine only replied with another question.

[ well, that Portable Item Storage is really expensive you know? ]

[ I don't care. This is something that will deepen our friendship. ]

[ well, whatever you say. ]

It's already been two days since we left Citrine City. Katherine asked me what would be a good gift for a friend, and I told her that if she will give it to an adventurer, it should be something useful for them. That's when she came up with an idea of giving a Portable Item Storage.

At first, I was curious who would she gave it to as she doesn't have any friends, of course not including anyone from her family. She won't tell me who will she give it to, but she still gave up after I questioned her a lot of times, and it turns out that the target was Haruto-kun, whom we met at Marinda onee-sama's Inn

I was surprised when she said she will give a gift to someone, of course, that's because she doesn't have anyone to give it to. But I wasn't expecting she would give it to someone we just met; Haruto-kun.

We only met Haruto-kun once, but we immediately got along with him, Especially Katherine.

I've been with Katherine since she was little. Katherine has a lot of hardship finding a good friend even as a kid. Many kids she met her age are all high-class aristocrats that always has some scheme hiding behind them even as kids.

Katherine has a weird eye, and she said that she can sense malice and evil thoughts of people once she looks at them with it, that's why she avoided being friends with people she senses malice into.

When she revealed to me that she would give it to Haruto-kun, she also said that when she introduced herself to him, she didn't feel any malice, bad thoughts, affection, or sexual thoughts at him but only excitement and enthusiasm. She said that Haruto-kun was a pure guy, and she never met anyone like him before.

I know that Haruto-kun was certainly weird, but I wasn't expecting that "the Katherine" who never trusted and never complimented anyone will say to me that she found a guy that doesn't have any hidden thoughts hiding in his face, and that guy was Haruto-kun.

And now that Katherine has found someone who she can trust and be friends with, she now doesn't want to let go of him. It's actually turning scary as he only talks about Haruto-kun now. Even her uncle who we met before leaving Citrine was dumbfounded by Katherine and ordered immediate research about Haruto-kun.

I wonder what this current situation will turn out to be. I, of course, after living a long time with Katherine, I'm guessing she will want a relationship deeper than friends with Haruto-kun not before long as he's the only guy she doesn't hate. But I wonder how Haruto-kun will react to this. Katherine said that he didn't have any sexual desires in him, but I doubt it a little as I never met any guy who doesn't have that feeling inside him, but if it turns out to be true, then I want him to be with Katherine, not just a friend but also a lover if they can.

[ now I just need to give it to send it to Diana-san and let her give this to Haruto-kun. ]
