37 Vol.1 Chapter37 - Epilogue2/2: Alice And Onii-chan - Alice POV

This week is the best I had in my life. Not just that I was able to have fun with onii-chan, but I was able to gain a family.

When I first met onii-chan, I was really surprised by how he can be so nice to someone he just met. And even though I tried to steal from him, he never punished me, instead, he gave me food to eat.

Onii-chan is not just nice, he's also gentle. He always pats my head when I did something good, which feels really nice, and whenever I'm with onii-chan, It always feels warm, calm, and nice.

I really hated my self when I asked onii-chan to take care of me because I felt like I only took advantage of his kindness. But now, even though I still hate my self for asking onii-chan to take care of me... I don't feel any regrets.

Everyday with onii-chan is always so fun and exciting. I never felt any hardships when I started to live with onii-chan, unlike when I lived alone on the street or with my grandma.

With onii-chan, I always have food to eat because he always shares his with me, he said he doesn't want me to eat anything else except the food he gives me because he said it was healthy. And before, I always just sleeps on the cold floors of abandoned houses or on the streets, but now, onii-chan shares his bed with me, he said that he doesn't want me to sleep on the floor because that will make him a bad person, but I don't think that even nice people would allow someone to sleep on their bed with them, onii-chan is really just different from any other people, which makes onii-chan very special. Onii-chan also always takes me to the Bathing Place to bathe with him, and every time I bathe with onii-san I feel refreshed after.

Onii-chan also taught me how to use a bow, and he also taught me how to fight with people, which he called "Karate". He also said he will teach me how to use a sword... I think I remember him saying it was "Kendo". He said he wants me to learn them so that I could help him hunt monsters and so that I could also protect my self from bad people.

Onii-chan did many things for me, so I want to repay him. I'm memorizing everything onii-chan likes, from food, clothes, and bed.

Onii-chan likes food with vegetables but he also likes food made of fish. Onii-chan is not picky when it comes to his clothing but he is picky with mine. And at bed, onii-chan likes it when I also hug him back, It was difficult the first day but I started to get used to onii-chan's hug and I also got used at hugging onii-chan back. Onii-chan's body feels really warm and he will also immediately fall asleep once I hug him, so every night feels really good and very warm.

I also met other nice people since I lived with onii-chan. Everyone at Marinda onee-san's Inn is nice, especially Bretta-chan whom I immediately got friends with. Victor nii-san is scary and he also does not talk much, but he's good friends with onii-chan so I think he's nice too. Marinda onee-san is also really nice like Bretta-chan. I also met Jacked Jack, I was scared when I saw him because I always see him at the City's gate as a guard so I thought he came at the Inn for me, since I already stole from many people... but I guess he's a nice person too, onii-chan told me that Mr. Jacked jack was the one who gave him money to let him pass the gate and that he's also a nice person despite being scary.

I and onii-chan also met nice people at Hector onii-san's village except for that boy who insulted onii-chan. I really hate that boy.

Yes, I met many good people since I started to live with onii-chan. But of course, onii-chan is still the nicest person there is. I won't trade onii-chan for anyone else, onii-chan is my family, I'm onii-chan's sister and onii-chan is my older brother. With onii-chan around, I won't ask for anything else.

I then woke up...

I wiped my eyes and immediately look for onii-chan.

[ o-onii-chan!? ]

[ what about him...? ]
