36 Vol.1 Chapter36 - Epilogue1/2: Meeting With Another Little Girl

Early in the morning, I left the Inn without taking Alice with me as she was still asleep. I'm currently running quietly on top of the brick houses rooftops while holding the paper Jack-san gave to me yesterday.

It turns out that paper he gave me was a handwritten map, and it clearly obvious that Jack-san was the one who has drawn it from how messy it was. but even though it's messy and hard to understand, It's actually very detailed and every corner of the city can be seen if you look closer at it. There are many large areas in the map, including the Guild and the Restaurant I saw with Alice when we went to the Plaza, but one particular large box-shaped area has a mark ( X ) written with a red pen.

I figured that is the place I'm supposed to go to since it's the only place in the map that has a distinctive mark on it.

[ hmm... where is it...? ] I stop at my tracks and muttered.

[ hmm... I know! ] I exclaimed as I figured a great idea of how can I look for it.

[ let's look for the tallest tower. ]

I looked around me to search for the tallest building I can find. I'm sure the view on top of the tallest tower will help me to immediately see the place I am looking for.

[ there it is. ] I muttered

what I saw was a large tower, and it's not just a tower, there's actually two of it and it was connected to a large mansion filled with tons of beautiful colors.

I started to run again fast, I then jumped high towards one of the towers as there are no rooftops to step on to left.

[ wow... ] I'm hanging on top of the tower, looking below the small houses of Citrine City. The view was just spectacular... it was beautiful. The sunlight is hitting my face, the ground below me, and everything I can see around, and the wind makes the trees around the Mansion dance and I can see the birds flying around the wide sky.

[ really beautiful... ]

[ HEY!!! get out of here or I will call the guards! ]

suddenly, a voice behind me suddenly came bursting out, and it actually hurt my eardrums.

I turned around to see who was it...

[ uwaahh... ]

what I saw was a little girl wearing a red dress with two blond ponytails as her hairstyle. Her gaze at me is dangerous, and... did she just said that she will call the guards!?

[ ple-please, wait! ]

[ no. you're already dead the moment you set foot inside the fences of this mansion. ]

[ wa-wait I only came here to- ]

[ yo-you came here to kidnap me!? ]

[ no! you misunderstood! I'm not! ]

[ why did I not realize immediately!? gu-gua- ]

[ s-stop! ]
