47 Chapter47: Hiring A New Member

Alice and I came back to the Inn. Diana-san said that someone was looking for me named Clara, and there's only one Carla I know of so I know it's related to Hector ojii-san's village. Inside the Inn, in front of me is a beautiful girl with short green hair and a height that just as tall as I am. I let Alice hang out with Bretta-chan first and Marinda-san is upstairs cleaning the empty rooms so we're currently alone inside this room.

[ a-are you Haruto-kun? ] Asked the girl.

[ ah... yes, I'm Haruto... ] I replied.

I guess she's Clara-san whom I saved from the golems... I know it because of her green hair. I wasn't able to look at her face properly that time but she looks really pretty, I guess Hector ojii-san wasn't joking when she told me her granddaughter was very pretty.

[ re-really! I-I've been looking for you! umm... I'm Clara! ] She said in surprise, then she came running towards me.

[ umm... yea, I heard from the guild that you were looking for me so I came here immediately... ]

[ is, is that so...? ]

[ so... why did you want to see me...? ] I know it's related to their village but I still asked anyway.

[ ...ah! right! I wanted to thank you for helping our village! you really saved us... ] I guess I'm right...

[ bread! my father made those. It's our village specialty! ] Clara-san said with a bright smile on her face. I guess she's really proud of it...

I gave Jerald-san the money I received from the guild hoping that it could help his village.

Derrick-san told me that the level of the golem I fought is normally needed to be taken down by at least two Class-A adventurers... so I guess it's really weird for a Rank-F adventurer like me to even try to visit their territory... not alone beat them... It's a good thing Derrick-san did not publicly disclose that information to the guild.

I'm not so sure if Alice would like the idea of letting someone join our team... but it might be a good idea to add some new members.

Jerald-san told me she taught Clara-san to hunt animals so she can help her hunt for their village, and Hector ojii-san also told me that Clara-san is good at using magic.

It would be a good idea to accept her request if we can have someone on our team who knows how to use magic. She can also teach Alice some basic magic if she joins us.
