4 Chapter4: At The Gates of Hell

After a while, I finally calmed down. My Hoody Jacket is stained with blood, so I took it off and decided to wrap it's arms around my waist instead. I don't have any other clothes so I need to take care of it, furthermore, I have lots of memories with it, so I can't just throw it away.

Now I'm left with my T-shirt which got my favorite anime guild logo on it.

I decided to look for water, river, pond, lake, anything where I can wash my self at. The right side of my body is dyed in red, it's a good thing that my pants is black, so the blood is not quite visible.

I continued to walk inside the forest and found a small lake later. I washed my self, I was feeling a little ticklish because I accommodated a large amount of dirt and sweat in my body. I also cleaned my clothes.

After I finished washing my body, I waited until the sun dries my clothes.

I also tried to catch some fish to eat using my speed and strength. I remember when my father taught me how to catch one and cook it with the bonfire.

After a while, It was already past noon. I wore my clothes again, except for my hoody, because blood can still be noticed from it. I walked again, I sometimes try to run to improve control over my speed, and chop some trees using "Karate Chop" while doing so. I can now control my strength more so I don't think it would be dangerous anymore, except maybe when I'm panicking

Not long after I ran and cut almost a hundred trees,

[ Finally! ]

what I saw was a road made of cobblestones. I was happy now that I can finally have a direction where I can go to.

[now, where... where... where... should I go?]

Is it left or right? well, I don't know but one thing is for sure, both sides of a road will sure lead to two different places. But I decided to go right, because right, is always right. ( not intended pun)

I then continued to walk but now I feel more enthusiastic. I cannot now see the forest.

After walking for a while, I immediately saw two large towers and in the middle was a large gate. I was feeling nervous because I will now meet with the people of this world.

I walk towards the gate and Immediately a guard saw me with a surprised expression. The guard then called two other guards...

"woah they're huge!"

three scary guards with hard expressions on their faces ran towards me.

"I'm getting really nervous..."

One of them closes the distance between us just a meter or two. I think he's the boss of the other two.

[ You're not from here are you?. What are those clothes you're wearing?] I thought so. I'm really standing out with these clothes.

[ Where are you from? what is that symbol curved on your clothes supposed to mean? are you from another country?] This guard is asking too many questions!

I don't know what to say!

Think! think! think! I don't know what the names of the countries here are, If I try to make up one, they might immediately know I'm lying.

[ I'm a lone traveling merchant from a different country from here, While I was Inside a forest not far from here... some monsters attacked me, I could barely escape... I also left my carriage in there and my two horses got eaten so I escaped while they were distracted. ] Nice! thank you Satou!

[ I think that is enough to live here for a week without any problems, but remember if you got big you need to repay me then.] The boss then posed a manly pose with his hands around his waist.

[ So manly! ] the guards muttered.

[ well then, My name's Jack. You can call me the hell whatever you want. But I'm pretty known here as Jacked jack or just boss so expect that you're gonna hear a lot from me when you get Inside this city. Oh! I'll cover for your fee to get inside too! I'll do this for you because it's natural and my master said that helping people who are in need is manly. ]

" ...what? I didn't know helping other people will make you manly? but I know that this guy is really kind"

[ Listen to me kid, once you get inside, know that not everyone is as kind as me, I think you're gonna get a lot of trouble inside especially with that looks of yours] my looks? ohh... is it because I'm Asian? my face is different from the people around here, they look more like westerners.

[ Thank you Mr.jack you're really helpful I will surely repay you even twice no, thrice! ]

[ hohoho? I'll remember that lad, you can now come inside, Let's go]

Following jack, I passed through the gates.

I'm inside the city now, I felt refreshed after I met with mister jack, I looked at him from afar, He's really jacked and he also got this Handlebar mustache of his which made his character really manly.

I then turn to look at the city. There are many different kinds of buildings I can see, the city is really giving off a fantasy like atmosphere. I then consciously smiled.

This city is brimming with life!

... At least that's what I thought... I looked around again and saw that almost all people are looking at me with suspicious eyes.

hahh... Now I get what Jack meant.
