19 Chapter19: Bath Time!

After the old lady and the two kids left, I carried the buckets inside one of the rooms.

The room we get inside to is quite large compared to what it looks like outside. There's a large tub inside that can only fit at least two people, there's also a small wooden water dipper, a piece of towel hanging in the corner and two small wooden chairs.

I was about to remove my clothes when I remembered Alice is here too.

[ hmm... how do I do this... ]

"I thought this should be easy, but... what should I do with Alice?"

she's just a kid so I think this should be okay.

[ Alice, do you want to go to another room? ] I want to get her opinion on this first.

[ I'm fine here onii-san. ] oh? I guess she doesn't mind it.

[ are you sure you don't want to get in another room? ]

[ un. ] she nods.

haah... I guess there's no other choice.

[ I'll go wash my self first with the soap, then I'll let you use it after. ]

I remove my clothes but then I took the towel and wrapped it around my wrist to hide my private part. Alice might be a kid but I'm still getting conscious about her seeing me naked.

[ Alice, help me pour these buckets into the tub. ] I turned around and faced Alice.

[ haah... ] she's already buck naked

well, I guess she's still a kid so she doesn't feel any shame from people seeing her naked.

[ hey Alice, be careful stripping down when there are people looking at you okay? ] I said while we pour two buckets at the tub.

[ hm? okay... ] really, the innocence of a kid.

I don't want Alice to get used getting naked in front of people.

[ okay, I'll go wash my self now. You sit down too Alice. ] I urged Alice to sit down too on one of the wooden chairs.

I pour some water into my self then wash my body with the soap.

Alice is just staring at me.

After I finish washing my self, I handed the soap to Alice. I poured some water on me again to wash away the bubbles from my body, I made sure I totally cleaned all the dirt in my body before finishing.

[ it's your turn, go wash your self. ]

[ U-un, thank you. ] oh... I thought she was gonna hesitate or complain again, but I guess she's already getting used at me giving her things.

I left the chair and went inside the tub.

[ haah... the water's not even hot... ] the water is not hot but it still feels good soaking my self in it.

as I sat down inside the tub, I looked at Alice washing her small, tiny body. There are a lot of bruise marks on her back and some scars too, she also has some in different parts of her body.

It's obvious that she's getting beat up by her grandmother before. I wonder how her grandmother died, considering she still had the energy to beat up Alice before she did.

[ are you finished now too Alice? ] after a while, Alice stopped using the soap and poured some water onto her body.

[ Un! ] Alice nodded with a smile.

She then started to look at the tub.

[ do you want to go in too? ] I asked her because she seems to be wanting to go inside too.

[ I-is it okay? ] Alice asked nervously.

[ of course. ] it's not like I will have perverted thoughts if she gets inside. She's just a kid.

[ okay... then please let me. ] Alice seems to be struggling to climb at the tub so I carried her inside.

I still have the towel at my waist by the way.

[ Uwaa... it feels good... ] Alice said with a melting expression like she was floating in the clouds.

[ right? it's better if the water's hot. ]

[ is that so onii-san? ]

[ yes, maybe I'll heat the water next time. I wonder how could I do that. ] I was thinking I could do it with magic... but I don't have any.

[ is this how you normally bath onii-san? ]

[ well, technically yes, but it still lacks the hot water. ] well, this is not the kind of bath I will be satisfied with, but it's still enough considering I haven't taken one for two days.

[ a-ano... ] Alice said anxiously, then she moved to my side and looked at me at my face.

I also started to get nervous.

[ umm... thank you onii-san. ] she turned her head down as she said that.

[ I never thought that you would treat me this well... I mean... I get to eat delicious food just this morning from the Inn, and I get to have my own proper clothes too, then I get to eat delicious food again, and now I'm taking my first proper bath since I was little. I think this is the best day of my life since I was born. ] Alice said as she keeps getting closer and closer until her shoulder touched mine.

[ you're exaggerating Alice, everyone would of course treat a cute girl like you well. ] I said as I patted her head.

[ no onii-san! if that's true then I wouldn't have to live so poorly! I wouldn't need to steal from people or eat garbage! you're the only one who treated, and will treat me this nicely onii-san! ] woah! she's getting serious now, her eyes are moist now and her face is so close to mine.

and wow... a little girl sticking so close to me naked really has a different feeling... no! that's not what I need to be thinking right now!

[ that's why... I want to thank you onii-san... ] Alice turned her head down and said those words.

haah...

[ you're welcome, Alice... I will make sure that your every day would always be like this, so it's always the best. ] I said and patted her head.

she turned her head upward then she looked at me. Her eyes are red and moist and her mouth is shaking, I guess she's resisting the urge to cry.

[ U-un... ]

[ how about we go out now? ]

[ ye-yes. ]
