10 Chapter10: Adventurer's Examination

The receptionist led me to a large room. There are many things inside that can be used to evaluate skills like archery targets, a dummy for sword training, a punching bag, dumbbells, and there's even something like a Punching Machine.

[ We will measure your strength and skills here, and from what Katherine-sama has requested, your adventurer's examination will be based 100% from only your skills and strength, but only if the Headmaster approves of it. ]

[ oh... is that so? so even if I get 100% in my skills, I will still not be able to pass if the Guildmaster won't approve Katherine-san's request, huh? ]

[ That is so.] I wonder if the GuildMaster is a nice person.

That is also why Katherine-sama has so much power over the Adventurers Guild here, so much so that you can say that she has more power than the Guildmaster himself.] Wow, now I get why Katherine-san is confident in her position as an adventurer.

I finished all their examinations, but I didn't expect it will include fighting a Rank-B adventurer.

Here are the results of the test:

Strength - I lifted all dumbbells and barbells they gave me and got a 100% for strength.

Speed and Stamina - We did the speed and Stamina test outside the Guild. I ran at a speed I consider fast enough for a normal person, but they said that I got the newest highest record ever recorded at the Guild. I thought I held back enough, but that happened. I also ran as long as I could but the examiner asks me to stop after running after a while.

Combat skill - I destroyed all their dummies, broke their punching machines, left all archery boards with multiple arrows stuck in their middle. I even beat the Rank-B adventurer they said I was supposed to fight as the last test to past, but I defeated him with only one punch while also trying to hold back.

[ you're officially an Adventurer now. Congratulations Haruto-san, here's your Guild Card, make sure not to lose it or it will cost you a lot of problems. It has your name on it and the city where you registered, so it will be bad if it got on the hands of bad people. ] The receptionist congratulated me while smiling and handed me a small yellow card.

[ my name is Diana, I think you will be a big asset to the Adventurers Guild soon as we have seen at your results from the examination. Your results were enough for you to be promoted immediately to Rank-C, we don't have many adventurers like you, so I hope we can get along. ] Promoted to Rank-C? in a single day? did I overdo the examination? I hope not.

I leave the Guild and started to walk around the streets to look for equipments and see how much they will cost me.

The streets were crowded, different kinds of shop lay beside it. You can't see any houses, only stores, and restaurants. I looked around to see if there's any kind of stores that sells clothes or weapons.

[ ahh!! ] a girl suddenly bumped herself into me.

[ are you alright little girl? ] as I was about to kneel down, she suddenly ran away.

[ What happened? I wonder if she's okay.] I checked my clothes to see if they're still okay, but as I was doing so, I realized that the pouch where I put my coins was now gone.

[ it was that girl.] how can a little girl do this to me? she betrayed my expectations towards them, little girls should just act cute and dere-dere! I need to follow her!
