3 Arceus (Heavenly) Defying Luck...

A gentle stream was flowing like it normally was, but something was off about this stream, it contained the normal type of Pokémon, Magikarp, but there was a difference in one of them... It seemed to glow a bright yellow at the bottom of the shallow stream.

On one side of this peaceful brook was a forest containing many bug Pokémon's alike, whilst on the other lay a town for people to converse and live happily, in peace.

Ace was walking through the forest, he came across many Pokémon and battled quite a few leaving his Eevee and Larvitar exhausted. Because he's not unkind he decided to let them rest as a normal, caring trainer would do, that was until he saw something glistening in the distance. He jogged a little until he realized that he emerged out of the forest to come face first to a narrow river, whilst his destination was on the other side. Whilst he was surveying the surroundings he saw that same shine again, being the curious trainer he was he walked closer to investigate, putting his face just above the water. He saw what seemed to be golden scales and he gasped in surprise.

"This luck is stupid..." He muttered under his breath. Without hesitating he threw a Pokéball into the stream hoping it would work, This was because his Pokémon weren't in the best condition to fight so he decided to take his chances. Due to the Luck skill being extremely high he instantly caught it making him sigh at how easy it was. Then he realized that his ball was at the bottom and he'd have to quickly dive in to get it. Though it was shallow, it was still deep enough to have him swim down a little. Breathing in, he jumped and dived down, seconds later he was holding the ball, but it seemed to be stuck on something. This was a surprise for Ace as he though his luck was impeccable, but that all changed when he saw what the ball was stuck on. A fossil.... (I already decided the fossil by the way so don't suggest anything :P Sorry). He knew this was a fossil instantly, but not which Pokémon it contained which made him a bit anxious, or that was due to him slowly losing breath...

Quickly resurfacing he gasped for breath instantaneously, only for a young women to run over to try and help him. She held out her hand which he immediately took for extra support. He noted how soft and smooth it was as he slowly caressed it with his thumb, whilst he was still in his daze, he didn't notice the women slowly turning red even though she berated herself because of how young he seemed.

"A-ah sorry 'bout that Mrs?" Ace said as he slowly looked up noticing how familiar she looked.

"N-no not at all, it's Miss Ketchum, but you can c-call me Delia" She replies, trying not to stutter out of embarrassment.

"Hey mam, who's that you're talking too, let's goo I gotta get my Pokémon!" Shouted a kid in the distance.

It took my brain to actually compete for a moment until I realized that this was THE Ketchum family...

"Sorry Ashy, just helping out someone that fell in the river" She replied noticing her sons glare.

"Why'd you fall in their?" The boy now names Ash asked, whilst pointing towards the water.

With that said Ace flushed a bit red as he described to them what happened, but not what he caught, causing Delia to giggle whilst covering her mouth and Ash to do a full belly laugh, much to Ace's annoyance.

"So what'd ya get?" He asked

With that I threw out the Magikarp and he looked at it strangely.

"Why's it gold?" Ash said after seeing the Pokémon before him.

"It's because It's shiny, which is a more rare version of that Pokémon" Ace explained causing Ash to do a cliche 'ooooohhhh'

Move sets - Tackle, Thrash, Water Gun, Iron Tail, Bubble Beam

'I'm not even surprised anymore... Scratch that this is a bloody Magikarp and those moves are not what I remember being in the game!' Ace thought.

After Delia and Ash stopped looking at the 'Beautiful & Shiny' Magikarp, he was about to put her back in the ball until it sounded like she was choking on something. Rushing over to her Ace tried to use his hand to caress her scales to find the problem, only to have an orb radiating power spew out of her mouth onto Ace's hand, much to his displeasure until he inspected it.

"Where are you guys heading anyways?" Ace asked, kind of sick with the luck but extremely happy nonetheless, I mean who wouldn't take free stuff that they'd definitely need in the future?

"TO PROFESSOR OAKS LAB OF COURSE!" Shouts Ash in glee, until he stood still, like a statue.

"MOTHER WE'RE ALREADY LATE WE HAVE TO GOOO!" He shouts after remembering their predicament

"*Sigh* Ok Honey, let's go... W-would you like to come to?"

"I realized I never introduced myself, how rude. The names Ace and I'd love to" He said bowing slightly, whilst lifting up her knuckles to plant a kiss their, politely of course, Ace's gotta be a charmer!
