Interlude (Grayfia’s Report Part 1)

Upon returning to the underworld, Grayfia handed over the four prisoners they had captured to be placed in the dungeon of the underworld's capital, Lilith. Grayfia felt the need to take a bath and wash off all the blood before giving a report on the threat posed by the new Fateweaver Master, Eden Tsubakihara. As she wiped the blood away after a successful mission, it reminded her of the times during the civil war when she and her husband, Sirzechs, would clean up after accomplishing their missions and engage in playful activities. While she thought about discussing such roleplay with her husband later, she needed to focus on her current task.

After her bath, she made her way to the meeting spot of the Great Satans, the leaders of the largest supernatural faction and some of the most powerful beings alive today. On this day, all the members of the Satans were present, including Falbium Asmodeus, who had not attended a meeting for two to three decades. Her gaze naturally turned to her husband, the strongest of the Great Satans, Sirzechs Lucifer, and her fellow peerage member, Souji Okita. She then noticed the person she had spoken to earlier, discussing the potential damage caused to the underworld by the current Fateweaver. This person was now engaged in a conversation with Queen Katherine Belth. Katherine, who could be mistaken for a vampire by humans rather than a devil, was dressed in black Victorian-era clothing. Her striking appearance, marked by her almost sickly pale complexion and perfect features, resembled that of a doll. Among the queens of the Great Satans, she held the title of the "Greatest Necromancer."

Also present was Ajuka Beelzebub, an attractive man with green slicked-back hair. His queen, Yoko Littner, had a vibrant red ponytail that reached her waist and wore unconventional attire - a bikini top paired with short jeans, light pink leggings, and white boots. Notably, she carried a large sniper rifle, a rarity in the underworld and supernatural community. Yoko Littner was known as the "Greatest Sniper."

Lastly, Falbium Asmodeus . His skin was even paler than Elena's, and his appearance might lead humans to assume he was unwell. Bald and sporting a goatee, his looks weren't remarkable. However, his queen, Morrigan Aensland, more than compensated for it. Morrigan was undeniably the most beautiful devil in the underworld, possessing a range of captivating features, from her slender yet alluring figure to her long sea-green hair and entrancing eyes. She truly earned her title as the "Greatest Succubus."

As Grayfia entered the grand meeting chamber, which outshone anything crafted by humans, a hush fell over the room. Even the servants stopped their activities, recognizing the significance of the impending meeting. The issue at hand was the Fateweaver, a name that struck fear into the hearts of devils much like their names did to mortals. This fear was largely due to two former Fateweavers: Amos, the Godslayer, and Jabari, the Blade of the Father. Following Lucifer's revolution, all Sword-bearers had been champions of Christ. However, Amos and Jabari took their faith to unprecedented levels.

Amos, known as the Godslayer, lived up to his title by killing more gods than perhaps anyone else, be they human or not. He wiped out all the small to medium-sized pantheons across Europe, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. Additionally, he led a crusade to the Americas, where he hunted down supernatural beings, exterminating most of the fey and decimating even the largest pantheons on the continents. It took a coalition of the remaining gods in America, along with those from Olympus, Asgard, and Swarga Loka, to unite and confront him, ultimately putting an end to his crusade and killing him. Even today, the name Amos instills fear and is spoken in hushed tones.

Next, someone Grayfia knew well due to their importance during the Great War was Jabari, known as the Blade of the Father. He served as the primary champion of Heaven during the war, outshining all the angels who were created to fight for the Father. Jabari was responsible for the extinction of more underworld pillar families than devil infighting and other adversaries combined. It was said that he could move at speeds around 12 times that of light, dispatching even the most dreaded devils before they could comprehend what was happening. His life was finally ended in a one-on-one battle against Lucifer, where Lucifer nearly lost his own life. If not for the intervention of a loyal devil servant named Mazikeen, who reportedly stepped in front of Jabari's blade just before it could pierce Lucifer, saving his life. This act led to the creation of the Mazikeen Law, allowing devils to ascend in the social hierarchy. Many aspects of devil culture and military techniques changed in response to Jabari's prowess.

Grayfia addressed the gathered assembly, "It's great to see you all today. I know you've hurried to attend this incredibly important meeting. Grayfia, do you have the report on the new Fateweaver?"

"Yes, Master," Grayfia replied, and with that, the meeting commenced in earnest.
