36 The training masters

After the introductions were done, the agenda of the day came next with the eight tutors sitting on the high seats.

"Now, I shall begin with what the training program is all about," announced an excited Eleanor. "There are five levels of training which fourteen of you would need to go through before the council would deem you fit to be called an apprentice and you would choose any council members to be under. There are thirty of us with two being indisposed at the moment and one just joining us newly yesterday so you would need to choose between all of us and pick one."

I slinked into my seat when her last statement made their way to my ears. Apart from the council members no one else knew that I was amongst the top tutors. I wondered if my relationship with my fellow warriors would change if they found out about my new position.

"Eleanor," grunted Fern. "Don't go out of bounds now. Somethings should remain in the dark."
