1 Every ship needs a crew
Echoes of boots on steel flooring and panting filled the red lit hall. The golden hair female ran for her life but soon reached a dead end. As the figure in the dark approached she pushed her back to the wall. "You don't have to do this!" she looked around for anything that could help her."Why do I have to die? I just wanna live!"

Lambda Station 314 Noonish 5999

Sirens sound off indicating to stand clear of the ship that was docking. This ship was not a new model like the others around it. This ship was at least produced around the 5200s due to it's interesting external engine venting system. Orange color exhaust spewed as the doors began to release pressured air. A bot floating in place waiting to greet the captain that would arise from the airlock doors. 'Good afternoon Sir welcome to Lambda Station! Are you aware this dock is a 3 hour maximum zone?' the bot asks waiting for confirmation. A tall average sized male with deep dark purple hair almost black emerged and waved an LED pass. "Understood" he continued into the crowd of people as the bot generated a banner " Welcome aboard the Phoenix!!!"

Panda Care- Loading dock
An old fashioned lighter from the 2000s sparks up echoing through the garage. "Becareful with the crates jackasses!" A husky whisky soaked voice barked an order to the guys driving hover lifts. "Dr. Manfred everything is loaded onto the cruiser! Have safe travels to your destinations." waved two workers and a companion bot.
The man gave a nod and drove off.
"You alive back there? If you are then you can climb up to the front seats." He spoke out with the same tone of voice
The noises of metal on metal sliding against each other filled the passenger compartment as the sounds of a light shuffle followed behind. "...Are you sure?" Whispered a weak feminine voice "You wanna live don't ya? You said so yourself...it's too late to be a chicken if you ask me." He looked back at the blonde golden eyed girl as she emerged "I wanna live Dr. Manfred...I'm just scared of the life I've lived before" She nervously sat in the passenger seat. Manfred blew cigarette smoke out the window and reached over and gave the girl a reassuring pat on the head "Listen no more Dr. Manfred, call me Jack
no matter what your past could be you wanna live in the now. So sit tight we're almost to the ship docking area"
The girl nodded her head feeling reassured

Ship dock 2
The truck comes to a stop while service robots ready themselves to unload the truck and take the luggage onto the ship. A floating robotic concierge greets Jack as he gets out "Good Afternoon Sir! To proceed on to The Phoenix I will you need you to state your name and occupation"
Jack takes a puff of his cigarette before answering "The name's Jack Manfred, I'm the acting chef" He then nudges the girl to do the same "I-I'm Haru Eikawa and I am the Phoenix's Navigator!" She bows to the robot to greet it formally. Jack hands Haru a duffel bag "Here this has all of your belongings that I could grab from the hospital."
"Thank you, I'm very thankful for you Doctor" Haru gave him a hug and Jack sighs and whispers in to Haru's ear "Look I get it you're thankful. But once we enter this ship you are to call me Jack, never Doctor. Also don't go around telling people you escape from a hospital." He scolded Haru and she let him go "Understood Jack, shall we proceed within?" She put her duffel bag on her back and started to haul it through and under the big LED banner that said 'WELCOME TO THE PHOENIX'.
Jack walked along bedside Haru as they toured the ship. Haru face lit up as she looked at her new home.
"I've never seen a Phoenix model ship this close up. It's beautiful, small size, but accommodates a crew of at least 10 people" Jack spoke his mind and put a cigarette in his mouth
"Hey Jack, you aren't gonna light that cigarette are you?" Haru asked while walking into what seemed to be a living area
Jack eyebrows furrowed did she really want to make an enemy "Look here Haru Don't sta-"
"Hello everyone!"
Haru immediately bowed and greeted everyone's gaze with a smile
"My name is Eikawa Haru and I'm going to be the Phoenix's navigator!"
Jack sighed
"How convenient for you...The name's Jack I'll be cookin yer meals" Jack said in a raspy tone of voice and walked passed Haru with his duffle bag and plopped down on the couch
Jack searched for his lighter in his pocket while Haru stood as she was looking around with her eyes
Kendall looked at Haru then pulled out a lighter for Jack "Nice to meet you, I'm Kendall, Weapons and security" Jack wasted no time getting a light from Kendall.
Haru moved all the way to the other side of the room and plopped down next to
a tall thin and frail girl that wore a leather jacket.
Haru smiled at her and The girl stared at her
"What? you want me to introduce myself don't you?" She sighed and pulled her hair from her face. Haru nodded "mhmm I bet you are our mechanic?"
"Yeah you're right I'm the new mechanic my name is Jenny" she said as she leaned back on the sofa
Kendall sits down as well "There's four of us here now we must be waiting for a pilot and the captain" he kicks his feet up onto the table in front of them.
"Did someone say Pilot?" A voice echoes into the room. A tall blonde haired guy walks in with his duffel bag in hand. "What's up everybody! I'm Joel I'll be piloting this beauty" Joel looks at both Jenny and Haru and nods "Hello ladies" and he sits between them making Haru and Jenny a bit uncomfortable. Haru clears her throat "Uh um Hello Joel I'm Haru-" Joel friendly puts his arm around Haru "Why so shy! We're gonna be best buddies on here. Isn't that right Jenny" Joel and Haru both look to Jenny who had fallen asleep.
Jack shook his head "What an eccentric lot"
