~ Throne Room ~

"Guards, bring the two in," Orys announced as he sat on his throne once again. Jaime and Joffrey were about to et tried at the moment, many Lords eager to see them face heavy punishment, except Tywin, Joanna and Cersei. But sadly, they were not going to have their wishes granted.

Soon the two blondes were brought in. If anyone with eyes looked at them, they could see they were father and son. It was as clear as day, but the people of Westeros were a bit blind and quite stupid so he didn't expect much from them.

"Jaime Lannister and Joffrey Baratheon, the two of you are accused of attacking a noble lord and going against the wishes of your king," Orys announced as he saw the guards bring the two in. Jaime was walking with his hands behind his back, obediently but the same infuriating, cocky smirk on his face. His confidence was the same as always since he saw his father in the crowd, besides there was no way Tywin nor Cersei would allow any harm to come to him, right?

Joffrey on the other hand was behaving like a rabid dog who was about to be chained. He was constantly struggling against Ser Barristan who was getting annoyed due to constantly hearing, 'Release your prince, peasant!' and other bullshit. He gave Orys a look, seemingly asking for some kind of permission. The moment he received a nod from Orys, the sound of a slap resounded throughout the Throne Room and everyone could see blood flowing down Joffrey's face with bruises soon forming on his cheek.

"Now that both of you are behaving properly, it is time for your punishment. You attacked The Hand of The King, a noble lord of Westeros, and heavily injured him. Granted he was a traitor; you still need to be disciplined. Which is why I think the punishment you shall receive will be fair," Orys spoke up as the crowd listened intently to his every word.

"Usually, I would have your arms cut down for this, but I believe due to Ned Stark's actions, you shall receive a softer punishment. Both of you shall be kept on house arrest for the next 10 years. you shall only receive the bare minimum of amenities, enough to survive but not the ones that you are used to. Also, Jaime Lannister, your status as a member of the King's Guard, and Joffrey's status as the Heir of Casterly Rock are dissolved immediately. Tommen shall take his place," Orys spoke up, before he moved towards the kneeling Jaime, as per tradition he should be the one to take off the White Cloak from a King's Guard. Jaime wanted to speak up, but he saw Tywin ordering him to keep quiet.

Unfortunately, Joffrey did not see the same.

As soon as Orys was a few feet away from him, the bastard lunged at him with a kitchen knife, something he had sneaked past the King's Guard, intent on piercing his older brother.

"You bastard! I will be the King!" Joffrey said as he rushed at the black-haired Baratheon. However, before he could even reach him, Orys had his sword out, which he swung around, cutting off both of his bastard stepbrother's arms. Valyrian Steel was sharp after all.

Instantly the guards were on both of them, Joffrey's arms releasing fountains of blood as he laid on the ground, screaming as he realized his hands had been cut off. Cersei's scream could be heard all the way to the Mud Gate, but before she could say anything Orys stopped her.

"You fool. Do you have any idea what the fuck you have done? I will deal with you later, but you are still my brother, so it would be a shame if you died. Qyburn, take care of him!" Orys spoke up, as guards grabbed the blonde idiot up and took him away for treatment to Qyburn's personal chambers. Everyone thought that the trial would end soon, but Orys moved away to allow the servants to clean up all the blood and arms of Joffrey.

After a few minutes, he moved towards Jaime, ordering him to stand up, so he could take off the White Cloak around his uncle's shoulders, but before he could, unknown to him, a demonic entity, jet black in color, jumped up from his shadow as it tired to push a shadow blade through Orys' chest.

Many people screamed seeing it, but before anyone could warn Orys, Jaime who could see the shadow before anyone else could, moved in front of the attack's trajectory, getting skewered in the process.

Orys, even though he was shocked, quickly used his sword to puncture the demon, which screamed and disappeared in black powder the moment it came in contact with the Valyrian Steel weapon.

Guards, Tywin, Cersei as well as Orys were all by Jaime's side soon enough, who was coughing large amounts of blood. The maesters had already given up, so the Lannister family could only tearfully watch as a precious family member lost his life once again and say their goodbyes.

Though it was Jaime's last words that struck a cord in everyone's heart, causing even those people who did not like him, to tear up.

'At least I died honorably, protecting my King, like a King's Guard should.'

They had all called him a King Slayer and what not, but today he proved that he was a great King's Guard as well.

However, Orys brought everyone's attention to something that was left behind the moment the shadow demon exploded. Something that angered everyone in the hall to the point they were ready to go to war at a moment's notice.

It was a piece of black cloth, the sigil of a red three-headed dragon on it. Yes, the Targaryens were coming for war, but this time, they would definitely not escape.
