10 Miserable Jiriaya

Finishing his coffee mug and dropping it in the pile of dirty dishes. She made her way to the Hatake brats room.

Barging in without consideration, she saw Hatake brat awake with a kunai in hand and assessing the situation. This reminded her why he was considered one of the top ninja in the elemental nations.

Faking tears she addressed him while hiccupping; "Kakashi! Kakashi!"

Kakashi who was awoken from his peaceful slumber by an unexpected situation ran a hand through his hair. Assassination attempts on him were not uncommon but rarely happened in his own village.

Regarding the women standing in front of him, he saw her panicked and fearful expression. He rose from the bed to calm her down, seeing as she was close to crying.

"Calm down! Take a deep breath."

"Did you get a nightmare about that stupid man?"

Patting her gently on the head to calm her down and earn good points in her book his actions soon went from awkward patting to confident patting. He had experience in calming down that he started learning when he was very little, his companions when they were newborn pups used to get agitated very easily but he used to rub and pat their little heads and they would calm down.

To him, this situation was not very different from that of calming his dog companions. Minori meanwhile mentally thought if all great shinobi have to have these awkward quirks. Replying while fake hiccupping she said;

Kakashi listened to her and thought that it must be a civilian thief and a pervert trying to sneak in because of how easily he was knocked out by a frying pan. Giving this beloved woman in front of him a glass of water from his bedside table.

And giving her one of his famous closed eye smile, he said;

"Minori! There is nothing wrong with what you did. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for protecting my home and the kids. You are a very brave beautiful gorgeous woman".

Hatake's Kitchen

Entering the kitchen together he saw a body on a chair covered by a cloth that went past the feet and was lying on the ground. Some muffled sounds were coming from the body.

Taking the roll-pin from the nearby kitchen counter he started hitting the pervert thief all the while saying how dare you to scare my beautiful Minori, you thief.

Minori meanwhile was getting some sick amusement from all this. She loved pitting people from villages and families against their loved ones by manipulating them.

If Kakashi had glanced at Minori now he would have seen the malevolent expression on her face but he was too busy beating the body.
