15 Why Would You Beg When You Can Command?

Blood Witch knew why the child looked familiar to her. He was her latest sapling! After thinking of her findings of the violet radiance she was sure her two soul strands were killed!

This kid even tricked the Heavens so how can two soul strands harm him?

Meanwhile, Lin Li was shocked to see herself in the sky along with her son. Just minutes before, the violet bead has formed a protective cover around her and Zhen Han. Now it brought them in an open battlefield and the protective barrier around them has disappeared.

Everywhere there were ruins. All she could see was debris and corpses. Few corpses were totally withered as if someone has taken away their flesh and blood. They were totally sucked dry.

In the sky, she could see the dark clouds creating the strange lightning. She was truly afraid as before she almost died if not for the interference of violet bead. She couldn't even face the aura of destruction created by the lightning much less now facing the lightning directly.

"Violet Bead now is not the time to joke. Please form the protective shield," Lin Li bitterly said.

Her son was still in deep sleep otherwise she would have definitely asked him. She was sure her son wouldn't refuse her request. Just yesterday he made her words into the laws of the world for few minutes. Shi Xiong's grandson was targeted by the beasts for love session due to her!

The violet bead gave no response. Lin Li and Zhen Han were still floating in the sky. The Dao Ancestor level lightning was coming towards them. This time the lightning was far stronger than the one faced by Blood Witch and others.

Blood Witch has reached the peak of Dao Ancestor realm after absorbing Skyrise Emperor though the rise in cultivation level was temporary. Even she felt that she stand no chance against the lightning.

She was sure the child and his mother would die by the lightning. They were able to survive so far as they were hidden, but now they were out in open. She couldn't understand why the kid would court death.

No matter what he was dead for sure! She gave a sigh of relief thinking the tribulation lightning would no longer target her. She didn't want to take any chances so she decided to run while she could!

Meanwhile, the lightning was directly coming for the mother-son duo.

"Han'er, please. I beg you wake up," Lin Li was scared. She feared death but she was more worried about her son. She wanted to wake him up and activate the bead for both but her main priority was her son. A mother couldn't see her child die in front of her.

"Han'er, please!"

She closed her eyes when the tribulation lightning was about to strike.

"Why would you beg when you have the right to command your son?" an ancient voice asked.

Lin Li opened her eyes when she heard the voice filled with vicissitude. Her eyes almost went out of socket when she saw the scene in front of her!

A gigantic tree was in front of her! Even the word giant was an insult to the tree. The tree was as large as the distance between sky and earth. The tree looked as if it was illusory but the ancient aura it gave was enough to shake the heavens. The entire island, no, the entire imperial capital started trembling. All the nine zones of the imperial capital were suffering through a massive earthquake.

It was as if this world couldn't handle the presence of this tree. The tree didn't release any pressure but yet its very presence was creating an avalanche!

The body of Zhen Han was 'inside' the trunk of the large tree. The violet bead was now out in open and floating above Zhen Han's head. Zhen Han continued to be in deep sleep.

The tribulation lightning was stopped by one of the leaves! A tribulation of peak-stage Dao Ancestor realm was stopped by a leaf!

One of the leaves of the tree broke away from the tree. It soon fell upon Blood Witch who was escaping and has no idea about the arrival of the tree. When the leaf touched her, she found herself teleport in front of the tree!

Blood Witch almost fainted from fear when she saw the tree.

Where did this arrive from?

The tree didn't release any pressure but the very presence made her tremble in fear. Her sense of crisis was shouting in pain! Even the grey matter of Demon Extermination didn't give her such feeling of crisis a million years ago! The pressure from the tribulation lightning was a joke in front of the tree!

How can such a thing even exist in this world?

Blood Witch was having a hard time breathing.
