12 Heavens Are Unfair!

The rules of Heavens, in their own way, try to keep up the balance and fairness of the world. The fairness was not related to the food cycle. The Heavens didn't care about the life of mortals or cultivators. Even if they cared, they wouldn't intervene.

The balance and fairness were related to external changes in the current environment of the world. If a foreign race or a foreign object tries to invade a world then they would face Celestial Punishment.

In a way, it is similar to how the body reacts when a virus invades the body. It tries to kill the virus or at the very least stop it from expanding.

Similar was the current situation in the Skyrise Empire. The Heavenly Laws in the Endless Continent felt the current dreams of Zhen Han as something which has potential to destroy the balance of the world.

If a person has the memories of his previous life then he has the potential to create a havoc in the world. If the person was some high-ranking cultivator in the past then in current life he could use the memories of his past life in such a way that the entire delicate balance of the world would be destroyed.

Why were the memories erased when a person undergoes reincarnation if not for this reason?

The entire world would fall under destruction if people can regain memories of their past.

The rules of the Heavens, in the Endless Continent, didn't know if what Zhen Han was dreaming about his previous life or were they memories of some supreme cultivator. In either case, it was something against the laws of this world.

If Zhen Han was inheriting the memories from a cultivator of this world then the Heavens wouldn't interfere but if it was another world then the Heavens would have no choice but to interfere.

Of course, people in the imperial capital weren't aware that the entire mess was created by a three-year-old.

Blood Witch, Skyrise Emperor and everyone else tried their best to reinforce the barrier but it soon broke. It might have power rivaling the Dao Ancestor but in front of Yin-Yang Tribulation lightning, the barrier only lasted ten minutes!

Yin-Yang Tribulation lightning is at peak Dao Ancestor realm so it is impressive for the barrier to last this long.

Now the true hell has arrived for them...

Under the might of black and white lightning, most of the imperial palace was destroyed.

Three groups of white and black lightning went after Blood Witch, Skyrise Emperor, and Wang Xixi.

Wang Xixi almost fainted from fear when she saw the tribulation lightning coming towards her.

She couldn't believe the sudden reversal in fate. In the morning, she has implanted two soul strands of Blood Witch inside Zhen Han all so that she can live. She felt guilty for harming him but that didn't stop her actions. She has lived for thousands of years and she dreaded death. If a person dies then what is the use of family wealth and power? She wanted to live.

But now she felt Heavens didn't want her to live! Otherwise, why would she face a Celestial Tribulation! No! Not Tribulation but Punishment! Damn!

Without any hesitation, she used the entire blood essence in her body to cast a small defensive shield against the incoming lightning.

Her heart was full of pain for using the blood essence as it determines the longevity and potential of a person. But what is the use of blood essence if she dies?

She was a half-step World King but the lightning tribulation was at Dao Ancestor realm! That too at peak stage! It was a huge gap of two realms!

Wang Xixi was aware so she has no choice but to go all out. She knew she couldn't destroy or attack the lightning. All she is capable of protecting herself.

Alas, the small shield she casted didn't even last for a fickle of the second against the lightning. Not a single of her treasure was able to resist the might of lightning.

The black and white lightning invaded her body!

She cried in terrible pain but that didn't stop the lighting from ravaging her inside.

Half her body was experiencing heat as if her body was pushed into the sun. The other half of her body was experiencing a cold she never knew was possible. Her two parts were experiencing totally opposite feelings but yet they were equally painful for her.

Soon one half of her body was burned to ashes. The other half was freeze to death.

Until her last breath, she couldn't understand why the Heavens targeted her. She felt extremely wronged.

In the eyes of mortals and cultivators, the Heavens might be cruel but they are fair. But today she felt the Heavens were unfair otherwise why would she be targeted for no reason? Why would she be killed!

Her last thoughts were full of curse against the Heavens as she died in extreme pain...
