35 Establishing Lower Dantian

Zhen Han was at the end only a five-year-old kid. As far as he knew the current happenings were nothing but a dream no matter how realistic they looked.

There were nine coffins floating in the space. Each coffin has moving pictures on it as if denoting the life of the person in the coffin. Zhen Han wasn't able to see the images on the last two coffins, but he knew they were same.

He has found the sixth and seventh coffin the most interesting with them being interred connected through a dream.

Zhen Han's was surprised after hearing the profound words spoken by the philosopher on the seventh coffin.

"Dream..."

He was only a kid but even he could feel the words spoken by the images on the coffin has some great secrets of the universe. He was sure the philosopher has a reason for saying the words he has said.

"Dream and reality are two sides of the same coin. Who can say reality is truer than the dream?" Zhen Han thought. He tried to think of the meaning behind philosopher's words but failed.

Zhen Han once again turned his face towards the coffin to see if the philosopher would continue.

The philosopher indeed continued when the two man in front of him tried to argue, "Right is not right; so is not so. If right were really right it would differ so clearly from not right that there would be no need for argument. If so were really so, it would differ so clearly from not so that there would be no need for argument."

The images on the coffin changed again. This time the philosopher was waiting for his death as if his death could arrive at any moment. His disciple wanted to give a lavish funeral.

The philosopher said: "I take heaven and earth as my inner and outer coffins, the sun and moon as my pair of jade disks, the stars and constellations as my pearls and beads, the ten thousand things as my funerary gifts. With my burial complete, how is there anything left unprepared? What shall be added to it?"

The disciples said: "We are afraid that the crows and kites will eat you, Master!"

The philosopher said: "Above ground, I'd be eaten by crows and kites, below ground I'd be eaten by mole crickets and ants. You rob the one and give to the other—how skewed would that be?"

Zhen Han could see that his disciple was shocked by the words spoke.

The philosopher continued, "A frog in a well cannot conceive of the ocean. But this doesn't make frog ignorant if it is wise enough. The wise man looks into space and does not regard the small as too little, nor the great as too big, for he knows that, there is no limit to dimensions. Death is similar. There is nothing to glorify or to look down upon,"

The images on the coffin disappeared. Now, the only inscription on the seventh coffin was of philosopher lost in deep sleep.

Zhen Han was sure the words spoken by the philosopher were for him. He couldn't understand the meaning of the words no matter how he tried.

"I am only a kid... how can I know the meaning of such profound words? I hope I remember the words spoken by the philosopher after my dream ends. I can use this words to insult my aunt and other relatives," Zhen Han thought.

He thought, if he tried hard he could find some nice ways for insulting from the words of the philosopher. He has reached a bottleneck in his Dao Of Insults, and he thought the current dream can give him some inspiration.

The words about dream and reality and frog in a well were as if ready-made for insult.

"Heavens, please let me remember this dream when I wake up. I will burn an incense stick and offer massive sacrifices to you if you let me remember the details," Zhen Han silently prayed.

"Even Uncle Zheng would be surprised if I use these profound words for insult purpose. Perhaps he would impart me all the techniques of great shamelessness ability," Zhen Han was more and more confident in his idea.

"Sir Philosopher, thank you for the instructions. If I remember your words, I will definitely use your words for enlightening the world," Zhen Han said with a voice filled with deep reverence. For him, he has only two teachers: his uncle and now the philosopher.

Let's turn the pendulum back and see the happenings in real life when Zhen Han entered his inner world.

Of course, neither he nor anyone else noticed his consciousness has entered his inner world. Zhen Han thought he was in a dream while others thought he was in meditation.

Outside the pagoda, the great elders and others thought something was amiss when Zhen Han continued to be in deep meditation even after forming his spiritual veins.

"Perhaps the heaven-defying act from before has made his brain into a vegetable."

"Yes! How can there be no side effects of forming the spiritual veins in a minute when even the best of geniuses take hours!"

"Haha, serves him right."

The members of the younger generation started laughing. They thought the current situation was for the best. Earlier, they felt humiliated to see a kid breaking the record of all the geniuses out there. But now seeing him in meditation, they were sure he was suffering a backlash of some sort. They couldn't help but gloat on his misfortune. Even some great elders were happy inside their hearts.

Zhen Han's family was worried. They didn't even get time to celebrate his achievements now that he was still in meditation.

"What to do?"

"If we disturb him in meditation there might be drastic consequences."

Lin Li was especially worried because she always associated him in sleep or meditation as a bad sign for the world.

"We should enter the pagoda to see if Han'er is alright," Lin Li said.

SWOOOOOOOSSSSSSSH!

The spiritual energy once again started converging inside the pagoda. This happened at the same time as Zhen Han arrived in front of the coffins in his inner world.

Lin Li and others didn't even have time to react as the spiritual energy entered Zhen Han's body. The entire spiritual energy entered his body and started establishing lower dantian!

The first step of Awakening Realm involve forming spiritual veins in the body which can allow one to absorb the spiritual energy of heaven and earth.

But the main step in Awakening Realm is establishing the 'Lower Dantian' in one's body. In its literal meaning, the word 'dantian' means a 'field of energy'. One can say it is almost like a new organ, very small in physical dimension but its capacity to hold energy is very large.

It takes years before a cultivator can establish the lower dantian. Establishment of lower dantian is considered as the peak of the Awakening realm! It is impossible for one to reach the peak of the realm in one day much less few minutes!

But Zhen Han was again an exception!

The spiritual energy traveled through his spiritual veins before stopping below his navel, about three finger widths below and two finger widths behind the navel. The lower dantian was in the form of a small golden furnace!

The great elders and others could see the establishment of lower dantian through the screen projection. While the dantian was established inside the body, they could see the convergence of spiritual energy below his naval which is a sign of lower dantian.

"SON OF A BITCH!"

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!"

"This needs to be stopped!"

"Heavens, there is a limit to how partial you can be!"

This time the shock was greater than the formation of spiritual veins. Formation of spiritual veins hardly take 5-7 hours for geniuses but the establishment of lower pagoda take years!

One has to establish the dantian step by step. It takes extreme patience and long time as the dantian is where the entire spiritual and other forms of energy are to be stored. A single misstep can lead to permanent damage.

Establishing dantian is even more painful than the spiritual veins but now it seemed as if the logic doesn't apply to Zhen Han.

Just like before, there was no sign of sweat on his face.

"Lin Li, are you sure the father of this child is not some Demon instead of your husband?" A great elder asked.
