39 Don't Curse His Mother!

"There is no natural justice in the world! The criminal is acting like the victim! Heavens, just kill this shameless kid!"

The curses of the younger generation knew no end. How could they stand words of Zhen Han after he has insulted their pride by his heaven-defying feet?

The first realm of cultivation is the Awakening which begins with the formation of spiritual veins and ends with establishing of lower dantian where the energy is stored. In the history of Endless Continent, no one has reached the great circle of Awakening in a year much less an hour after starting cultivation! But Zhen Han did the impossible and achieved this within minutes!

So how can the members of the younger generation be not affected by the words of Zhen Han when he said he has failed? You have achieved what no one has but yet you call it the failure?

Then what about us who took years to achieve what you did in minutes? Are we losers?

This was the thoughts which ran in the minds of the younger generation! They couldn't kill him so they tried to remove the frustration through their cursing!

The Elders of Lin clan were embarrassed after seeing the behavior of the younger generation. They themselves wanted to curse Zhen Han for being so shameless but they refrained given their age.

The Lin clan patriarch and the chief envoy from Vermilion Empire were here. Both of them had a strange expression on their face when they heard the curses of the younger generation.

"Lin Xinu, I must admit that your clan's unity has shocked me," Qin Auir said.

"What?" Lin clan patriarch asked.

"I have never seen a clan so united in cursing and envying a single person. That kid might be a heaven-defying genius but your younger generation is heaven-defying as well," Qin Auir said with a sarcastic voice.

Inside the pagoda, Zhen Han controlled his emotions. He was hurt for not able to remember the details of his dream but he didn't let a temporary setback affect him.

"I will work on Dao of Humiliation on my own! I don't need the guidance of some dream!" He said in his heart as he left his lotus position.

Zhen Han moved towards the second level of the Awakening Pagoda. Inside the first level of Pagoda, one can form their spiritual veins. The other levels were not related to spiritual veins or lower dantian. Instead, they were focused more on auxiliary stuff such as the attribute, vein capacity, mental bearings, and comprehension skills.

In the second level, one can check what spiritual attribute one has. Everything in the world has a specific attribute. Even the spiritual energy inside the world was not of one type.

There are five attributes of spiritual energy, in general, referring to the five elements: Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth. If one has wood element attribute then one can use the wood spiritual energy for oneself. The regions filled with wood energy would be paradise for such people but if the region contained the other attribute energy than one wouldn't be able to cultivate much.

Even the cultivation techniques were divided according to the attribute one has.

Besides the five elements attribute, there are some special attributes which are very rare in nature: Wind, Rain, and Lightning. Rain might be considered as a variation of Water but it was different from water attribute.

Even besides these rare attributes, there are almost non-existent attributes like Space, Blood, etc. Blood might be considered as a variation of water just like rain but it was an attribute of its own.

The Blood Witch has an affinity with blood attribute which was why she was able to reach such an advanced stage of cultivation after focusing on blood magic! Space attribute was even rarer!

If one doesn't train as per the attribute then it is almost impossible to achieve any progress in the path of cultivation.

Generally speaking, a cultivator has an affinity to only one element. It is very rare for a cultivator to have multiple attributes but such freaks do exist.

Zhen Han reached the second floor. In the middle of the floor, there was a white crystal ball floating.

The mechanism of crystal ball was rather easy. One just has to place their hand on it and the ball will do the rest.

"Lin Li, how many attributes you think your son carries?" Lin Zumo asked. Normally, no one would ask such a crazy question as having multiple attributes is very rare. Now, he was asking as if it Zhen Han having multiple attributes was as natural as a human being having two hands and two legs. If someone tried to convince him otherwise he will slap that person.

"Sir Zumo, why are you asking me about my son? I am a mother blinded by my love for my son, so obviously I will make outrageous claims, right?" Lin Li asked in a mocking tone.

Lin Zumo and the other elders' faces were twitching. How can they not realize Lin Li was mocking them for the early scene?

Before Zhen Han formed his spiritual veins, they have asked Lin Li how long her son will take for forming his spiritual veins. She has claimed less than an hour while trying to be modest but everyone else believed it was an outrageous claim made by a mother blinded by her maternal love. The members of the younger generation have even called her mental.

"Lin Li, we were wrong earlier," Lin Zumo unexpectedly accepted his mistake much to Lin Li's surprise. She knew how arrogant he was as an elder but now to see him admitting his faults.

Lin Li realized it was most likely because the clan has realized the potential of Zhen Han. They wanted to make up for their earlier mistakes so that they can get Zhen Han's loyalty to the clan. She has seen the clan patriarch talking with Lin Zumo a few minutes ago so she was sure of her guess.

"At the very least, I am expecting my son to have all the five elements attribute," Lin Li said in a normal voice.

Lin Zumo, Lin clan patriarch, Vermilion Empire's chief envoy, and others were expecting her to claim something outlandish but nevertheless, they were shocked by her words.

A cultivator with two attributes was rare much less three attributes. Now, she believed five attributes as a minimum?

"All five attributes and that is her idea of 'least'?"

"She is making bold claims just because her son showed heaven-defying speed in cultivation? She is an idiot and has no idea that speed is not everything in culti---" A member of the younger generation was saying but the next second his fellow brothers started beating him up before he can complete his words.

"W-why are you beating me?" The young man asked with a voice of disbelief. His eyes were swollen but the thrashing by his brothers didn't stop.

" You actually dare to curse at that freak's mother but now you are asking what have you done?" One of the young man's brother angrily said as he punched him.

The young man was shocked. How can cursing her justify him being thrashed by his brothers? Moments ago, everyone was cursing the kid so what was strange in cursing the mother?

The young man tried to reason with this logic but that only increased the beatings he received.

"Have you forgotten how he took revenge on Lady Yiruo just because she insulted his mother?"

"Yeah! Haven't you seen what happened when we cursed her previously after she claimed that her son would form his spiritual veins in less than an hour? We called her mental but the very next moment, that kid has formed his spiritual veins as if to slap us for insulting his mother! He didn't even take ten seconds!" Another member of the younger generation said.

"Now she has ONLY claimed five attributes! But yet you want to curse her? Do you want that kid to have dozens of attributes just so that he can slap us because you insulted his mother?"

"He has already given me mental demons but now you want to anger that demon? You want our Dao heart to shatter?"

"Why should we pay the price for your mistake!?"

"What the fuck!" The young man fainted after saying this words.
