Chapter 10: Genius

Jane walked in and was so stunned by what she saw she had her jaw opened wide.

In Gold's palm was a massive piece of detailed artwork. The picture was a story set in a lush green forest with a crystal clear river with fish swimming away frantically. The forest had animals that we drawn with many details running in fear for their lives.

In the center were many destroyed trees and burnt plant life and animals lying dead. In the middle though were two beasts fighting a battle to the death.

The two animals were a majestic white tiger and a mythical blue dragon. The tiger and the dragon were both entangled together and roaring at each other. They were both injured and very bloody. Both the animals blood were dripping and forming a ying and yang symbol.

Jane: "What the Heavenly Dao is this!"

After hearing the yelling Gold lost concentration and the drawing started fading. After talking in a deep breathe Jane finally snapped out of her own little world.

Jane: "You managed to reach the enlightenment stage....."

Gold looked at Jane with curious eyes.

Gold: "Enlighten-wha?"

Jane: "Let me explain. The trick that I taught you is actually called the Ki Forming Art. The art has many stages and each stage represent the level of your ki control. There are for levels and the first level is the beginner stage, where they start to learn how to form their ki. The second stage the processing stage, the point of which you start to process the connection between the drawings and ki control. The third stage is the perceiving stage, where you start being able to draw what you have seen and learn what you can comprehend. You get it so far?"

Gold: "Yeah, but what about the enlightenment do hicky?"

Jane: "I was getting there. Finally the last one is the enlightenment stage, in the enlightenment stage you can form any thing you have seen and learned from before in almost exact detail. Like this drawing you formed it must have been something you have seen or imagined before, right?"

Gold: "Yeah I read this in a book and at some point a white tiger and blue dragon start fighting and states the details of the fight."

Jane: "But I still don't understand how you managed to get this far in only one hour. Tell me what you were feeling."

Gold: "Ok well at the beginning I was doing very bad. Then I just suddenly got something like an enlightenment and wondered what the connection was between this art and ki control. Then I found an answer, controlling the ki in fine detail in the art will make it easier to accurately move ki around my body since forming ki ans moving ki around is the same motion."

Jane: "Ok, more detail still doesn't explain how you passed level 3 so easily."

Gold: "Well when after finding out the connection, I started forming random things but those drawing lacked something. Then an image of a book that I once read popped up and instinctually I started forming that image and found out a way to use my ki that fits me."

Taking in a deep breathe and sighing Jane thought to her self that sudden enlightenment was rare a some people would never get one in their life but this happened twice in a row fo him.

Jane: "Did you know it took me 10 years to finally reach the enlightenment stage, but it took you only one hour"

Gold:"You know what that means?

Jane: "No, what?"

Gold: "It means I'm more talented than you, ha."

Jane: "Oh shut up and go work on cultivation."

Gold, "Yes, Senior."

Gold then went to his room and grabbed his mauals.
