13 The Glost Town and meeting the Patriarch

They probably saw Getrar, however the bandits might have been scared by exile, the ninjas thought the terrifying exile would end up killing him and the exiles would fear the giant exile.

"Patriarch, we found this individual in the meadow when we passed to monitor the situation, we saw him along with the exile who was causing us problems and lifeless, and I imagine that he came to do the mission and managed to complete it, although due to his condition, he is close to death, I think we should cure him, what do you think? " Said a villager worried about Getrar.

"Yes, heal him right away, although we already left a reward in Dorwen City, he deserves a good deal from us and of course we will treat him as a special guest while he stays here." The Patriarch said in a strong and clear tone.

It was a couple of days before Getrar showed signs of waking up, the villagers who knew about medicinal herbs watched him from time to time.

On the third day, Getrar woke up and saw that he was in a quite rustic house, the ceiling was made of wood and he felt that his bed was also made of wood and had a simple blanket covering him.

'Where I am? The last thing I remember is that I killed the prairie exile, but then everything went black, I imagine I passed out, that was dangerous, I regret not buying a medicinal pill from the alchemist association'. Getrar sighed and put his index finger and thumb to the bridge of his nose.

Getrar slowly turned his head from left to right so he could analyze the situation around him.

What he saw was a house made entirely of wood, including all household objects, furniture (wardrobe, nightstand, and chairs) and bed, only objects such as the kitchen were made of treated stone, to remove most of imperfections.

A few moments passed and a villager arrived where he was, approached him and greeted him.

He wore farmer's clothes, it was simple and it was also a little dirty due to the mud, and his appearance didn't really have anything remarkable, it was only had a strong physique, typical of the farmers who worked the land.

"Hello, friend. What's your name?" The villager asked Getrar gently.

"My name is Getrar, and from what I can imagine, I'm in the town of Glost, right?" Getrar said to him.

"If you're right, some colleagues found that he passed out near the meadow where the troublesome exile was, what surprises me is that he was very lucky, he must thank the celestials for not having died there." The villager told Getrar.

"It is correct, by the way, do you know what that exile was called? In fact, of all those I know, none of them resemble him."

Getrar asked the villager very curiously.

He thought that perhaps he might know something, since they have businesses with alchemists or other businessmen, they might have acquired some knowledge that could be useful to him.

"Not really, we even asked alchemists for the name and they didn't know anything about this monster either." The villager told Getrar clarifying that he had not met anyone who had that knowledge.

'Well now knowing the name is not very useful to me, since in facing it, I more or less know its attack patterns and its battle techniques,' thought Getrar to himself, he didn't want them to ask more than necessary. Although this plan will not help Getrar.

"I am one of the villagers who took care of you, since I know some medicinal herbs, there are 2 others who kept me company, one was the brother of the Patriarch, who is the one who knows the most about herbs except for the Patriarch, but could not come to help him, since he has other problems that need his management, "he told Getrar to inform him of the situation.

"Very well then, I will thank you personally, tell me the people to whom I owe the favor?" Getrar asked the villager in a pleading tone.

"Yes, of course, around here then" The villager motioned for Getrar to follow him.

Then they both left the house.

Then they both left the house chatting happily, as if they were lifelong friends, this happened since the villagers were simple and friendly people, they are not people who have bad intentions, at least most of them.

When they left, they saw that it was time for lunch, the sun was already high in the sky, it was clear, that is, there were no clouds.

Getrar had to put his hands over his eyes because of the light that blinded his sight when he left the house.

He looked at the town and saw that there were many houses, but most of them were the same, there were only 2 that were distinguished from the rest, and those were the business that sold medicinal herbs and the other was the Patriarch's house.

All the buildings were made of wood, they had some * windows * but they did not have glass, the wood seemed to be from araucaria, very strong and durable, they looked well built, there were not many defined roads in the town, this village had narrow and wide roads.

The town was quite small compared to any city I had seen before, probably no more than 100 people lived in this place.

The villager accompanied him to different houses where the people who cared for him lived, including, of course, the Patriarch's brother.

"Hello fellow, my name is Orix and I am the brother of the Patriarch of Glost town, what is your name?" Orix asked Getrar cheerfully.

"Hello, my name is Getrar, nice to meet you and thanks for taking care of me during this time that I was unconscious" Getrar thanks Orix.

"No problem, you are also an important guest to us, since apparently you killed the exile who was taking our families and our businesses, I wonder if you have already eaten something." He replied to Getrar not to worry and asked if he had lunch.

"No, not yet, I have been touring the city to thank the people who helped me, both those who found me and those who took care of me," Getrar replied.

"Then come to lunch here in my house, I will prepare you a good meal, before ... my wife could have cooked us, sometimes she had also accompanied me to take care of the herbs, but one day, the exile suddenly attacked and took away her life, I hated him ever since, but thanks to the fact that you killed him, I can rest in peace, "Orix told Getrar in a very grateful way.

"Then I will accept the invitation you offer me for lunch" Getrar said.

So they got ready for lunch, after a while of eating and talking, they left the house and went to talk to the Patriarch, but if he was busy, they would have to wait, fortunately, they had met almost immediately.

Getrar entered and really saw the difference between the houses, the Patriarch's house was taller, longer and wider, it had two floors, guest rooms, it also had various stone objects, which in another house were wooden objects, even the windows had curtains, things that the other houses did not.

"Hello, I imagine you are the guest of honor in the city, my name is Hilarus and I am, as you may have already noticed, the patriarch. Could you tell me your name?" He said to Getrar in a kind and not arrogant way as someone from a higher state would.

"My name is Getrar, this guest greets the patriarch of the town." Getrar said respectfully.
