13 Chapter 13 Before The Finals

Shin: "Ga,these fights are making me too tired I hope there's a lunch break after this or something." I muttered to my self as I got up and headed to the arena.Though on the way I was really confused I could see people with shocked expressions and murmuring quietly to each other like something out of this world happened.

'The last match was Eijiro vs Katsuki so what did that dumb ass do to get people so riled up?' I thought while I headed to the stage 'But that's beside the point I just need to hope and pray that Tenya will either forfeit or hurry up and not waste time because I am so hungry my pain is unimaginable.I need to eat quickly or my body will start to consume itself!' I thought before running to the stage with all my might.

I arrived at the stage and in front of me there was Tenya.As soon as I arrived Present Mic started "READY!SET!GOOOOOOOO!"

Tenya rushed at me at his fastest speed possible simultaneously I thought 'THANK GOD!' And lit my hands on fire with cold flames.As soon as he reached in front of me he kicked towards my head's left side 'Jeez why is he in such a rush I mean better for me but did he already get informed about the attack his brother suffered?Nah because if he was he wouldn't be participating.He must be scared of my range attacks.'

Back to the fight.

I was about to catch Tenya's leg with my left hand when suddenly he engines extended and changed the angle of his kick and he hit me on my left hip.'FUCK!He had gotten better control as well that sneaky bastard.'

I flew 2 meters to the right but quickly stabilized my self and said "Damn Tenya I thought I would only have to use this on Eijiro if I met him in the battles but I guess I have to use it on you too.Inspired Move Series:Move No 3 FLAMING VEGITO SWORDS!" I formed my hands together like I was gonna hit someone with a palm attack and my flames formed a blade like form around my hand that went beyond my fingers by about 5 centimeters.

I started slashing them towards the ground between Tenya and I.Once I slashed curved hot flames came out cutting up the ground.Due to this rocks starting launching towards Tenya at high speeds.He started kicking and dodging them like a madman.

'Hehehehe if you're gonna make me use Flaming Vegito Swords then I have to show them off don't I?'

I thought as I ran up behind him just as he finished destroying the last of rocks I said "Tenya you've lost!Though I do commend you for making me bring these out."

I was 3 meters behind him with my right arm stretched out pointing towards him.My left hand's Vegito Sword had been turned off as I wouldn't be able to do this move with it on.

Tenya: "What do you mean you are 3 meters away from me how have you won?"

Shin:"I wanted you to say that.VEGITO SWORD!EXTEND!"

The sword extended all the way to Tenya's neck though I had the flames set to cold so I don't accidentally burn his neck off.The crowd was amazed but I couldn't care less as I immediately said "I won right?Oh and by the way before the finals can I please have a lunch break?" Midnight said "Yes you won and you can have a lunch break before the finals."

"Whew thank God I thought I was gonna starve to death with all the energy I have been using."I immediately turned my Flaming Vegito Swords off and went off the stage towards the eating area.Once I was there they said "Sorry but you have to wait 5 minutes so we can finish making the food." I responded "Huh?"

As I sat there waiting I felt like my stomach was about to implode 'Jeez why does my quirk need to take so much stamina I don't want to live the rest of my life as a Shounen manga protagonist please God make my quirk less stamina heavy!' I thought while kneeling and putting my hands together to pray to that fiend who brought me here with such shit perks.(compared to the situation) 'But at least he gave me status.'

While I was waiting there Rikido came up to me and sat down next to me saying

Rikido: "Damn Shin you're doing really well you already made it to the finals.Unlike me who lost at the first round to Denki."

Shin: "Ya I did make it to the finals but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter.A part from that though I heard you make really good cakes so if I win the finals can you make me one?"

Rikido was confused at first and then embarrassed then finally he replied "Oh ya sure but I don't really make goo cakes and who told you that anyway."

Shin: "A little bird told me before you came."

Rikido looked at me like I just hit him in his private area but he said "FINE!I will make you one only if,IF you win."

Shin: "Oh cool thanks you want to sit with me and eat before the finals?"

Rikido: "Sure but I already ate."

Like it was planned as soon as Rikido agreed one of the workers came and said we could go in.We sat down and I started eating.I had 6 plates full of food 'Damn this is the most I've ever eaten.Before this the most I ate was 2 plates full of food.'

Rikido was a bit shocked by how much I ate but when I explained to him why he understood.We talked for a long time nearly till the finals started when he brought up a topic that I thought was interesting.

Rikido: "Man but I think it's a bit stupid that only now have heroes been aloud to kill villains."

Shin: "Yes, but while it may be stupid that only now have they been aloud,the public would have been pissed and really annoyed if heroes were aloud to kill before because heroes in their minds are supposed to protect and save and not kill but at the end of the day they aloud it due to the high fatality rates heroes are suffering because they have to make sure not to kill the villain while fighting them.Oh and also due to the high influx of villains in the recent years obviously."

Rikido: "Ya I guess you're right."

We stayed talking till I had to go to the finals.When I got to the stage I was really panicked.
