85 Chapter 85 Visiting Charlotte

Hi guys, this is the next chapter.

The day continues like usual where Kanda and Lily meet Raishin-Yaya duo in the morning before going to the their class.

The class going like usual where Kanda will be surrounded by those fangirls, Raishin will be scolded by Kimberley for losing focus in her class, and comedic interaction between Raishin and Yaya.

After that, they going to meet Charlotte when the time for lunch had arrived where Kanda teased Charlotte about her crush on Felix which she denied furiously. Kanda also had asked Sigmund's whereabouts from Charlotte which she said that Sigmund currently resting in her room.

The trio, Kanda, Raishin, and Charlotte continues their patrol around the academy where they did not see anything suspicious during their patrol. They had ended the patrol at the late evening where Kanda and Raishin went back to their dormitory after separated from Charlotte.

~On the way to the dormitory.

"Raishin, don't you feel anything amiss from Charlotte's behaviour today?" Asked Kanda to the person beside him.

"I can see that too, Kanda. When we had asked her before about Sigmund as a Banned Doll, she can be seen didn't want to talk about it. I also can see that she looks sad when we talked about her family which she told us about her family's history but not the reason why she want to be a Wiseman." Replied Raishin.

"When she opens up a little at us later, I think she will tell us, Raishin. Just leave her alone for now, I guess." Commented Kanda.

"...Fine." Replied Raishin with sighs.

"Enough of that, I want to ask whether our Deputy Chief of Disciplinary Committee had talked with you again, Raishin." Said Kanda at Raishin.

"Yes, she meet me again before our lunch where she said at me to be careful as she assumed that "Cannibal Candy" might strike at any moment. She also told me to be careful around you and Charlotte as she still had suspected one of you two as the "Carnibal Candy". What do you say about her conversation with me?" Replied Raishin before he asked at Kanda.

"You ask me, Raishin?" Replied Kanda which he can see Raishin nods at him.

He thinks for a moment and say: "We can only be cautious about "Cannibal Candy" around us if Risette had said that but I don't agree about Charlotte's identity as "Cannibal Candy." You think Sigmund will do that when he had thought Charlotte just like his daughter."

Raishin nods his head and say: "You're right about that, Kanda."

"You can see from the wound that had been inflicted at those dead automatons where Sigmund is incapable to do that." Said Kanda at Raishin.

"Why you said that?" Asked Raishin.

"Sigmund had two forms that we could see, first is his mini form where he stood at Charlotte's shoulder. You think his cute claw can make those type of wound at those automaton's chest." Explained Kanda.

"I see...how about his second form?" Ruminated Raishin before asking Kanda again.

"His second form is that large grey dragon. I want to ask you, Raishin...What will happen to those dead automaton if Sigmund had used his large claw at them?" Replied Kanda before he asked Raishin.

"Hmm...split in half? completely destroyed? I don't know but I understood your point, Kanda. How about if Sigmund becomes berserk at that time?" Replied Raishin before he asked Kanda again.

"You had fought with Sigmund right, Raishin?" Asked Kanda without answering Raishin yet.

"Yes, what about it?" Replied Raishin.

"What your opinion if Sigmund had fought you at that time in his berserk state?" Asked Kanda.

"Well, Yaya might received much more damage when fighting him at that time." Answered Raishin.

"That's right. If those automatons had met Sigmund during his berserk state, I don't need to explain it more to you right, Raishin? You can see what will happen to them later." Replied Kanda.

"Thank you for telling me this, Kanda, if not, I will still in the dark about it." Thanked Raishin at Kanda.

"It's fine, Raishin. Anyway, we might check on Charlotte as I had assumed that she might the key to our finding of "Cannibal Candy". I think that she will meet some problems later as for some reasons, "Cannibal Candy" cases were closely related with her." Kanda said that at Raishin.

"Ok, we should do that, Kanda." Confirmed Raishin.

~The next day.

Like usual, Kanda going together with Raishin but this time, they had heard that Charlotte was absent from her class which both of them could not meet her like usual at the cafeteria.

They going to Charlotte's dormitory and asked permission from the dorm master to see Charlotte inside there which she had allowed Kanda and Raishin to enter the dormitory.

The presence of Kanda and Raishin had caused commotion at the dormitory due to the popularity of Kanda which they called him as "Crimson Prince" where his body had crimson-like aura during the fight with Magnus.

Some of the residents at the dormitory also are hardcore fans for a certain type of literature genre which they had fantasised the relationship between Kanda and Raishin. Those fans' intense gaze on Kanda had caused him to be quickly when to the Charlotte's room where he knocked on the door and Charlotte had opened it.

"Eh? What are you doing here, you two?" Asked Charlotted while being stunned for the sudden arrival.

"Can you let us enter your room first, Charlotte? The sight of the residents here are too intense for both of us." Kanda said that to Charlotte while being supported by Raishin behind him.

Charlotte invited them to enter the room where Lily and Yaya went to meet Sigmund which he currently in his mini form and sitting on the table while in the middle of eating.

After they had sat on the seat, Charlotte say: "Why all of you had came here?"

"Well, we heard that you had absence from your class and both of us are worried about you. Lily and Yaya also want to meet with Sigmund and see whether he is fine or not." Answered Kanda.

"Thank you then, Kanda. I'm really appreciate of you to see me here, you two, Lily, Yaya. What you can see here, my body is fine as Char had allowed me to rest for awhile." Replied Sigmund as he had been lifted by Yaya before she puts him on her head.

"It's fine, Sigmund. Both of you and Charlotte are our friends so we will worry of you if something had happened. Am I right, Raishin?" Kanda said that before he looks at Raishin beside him.

"Of course, just like Kanda had said. If there is something had worried you, trying to ask us so we could help you later." Commented Raishin.

"Thank you." Said Sigmund as he bows his head slightly.

Kanda looks at Charlotte next and say: "How about you, Charlotte? Are you fine? You could tell us if something is bothering you."

"I'm fine, thank you for asking, Kanda. I don't want to burden you with my problems." Replied Charlotte.

"Charlotte...You must remember that...even though you're strong, you could still depend on us as we're your friends and we will try our best to help you if only you had asked to help you. If you're hiding something from us, we will wait until you could tell us about it." Kanda said that while looking at Charlotte's eyes.

Charlotte looks at Kanda's determined eyes before she looks on the floor and say: "Th-Thank you, Kanda. I will do that later if I want you to help me."

Kanda nods his head and say: "Good. We will wait for you to ask for our help." He raises from his seat and say: "We will return to our dormitory now and we will see you tomorrow, Charlotte."

"Ch-Char..." Murmured Charlotte.

"What you had said, Charlotte?" Asked Kanda, not hearing her words clearly.

"Char...I want you to call me as Char just like Sigmund." Repeated Charlotte in soft voice.

"Hahaha, alright. We will go now, Char." Replied Kanda while smile widely at her.

Charlotte just nods her head cutely as Kanda and others when out of her room where multiple shrieks of fangirls had appeared again when they saw Kanda.

=Charlotte's room.==

Sigmund flying towards Charlotte's shoulder and say: "Char, do you have any feeling towards that guy?"

"N-No, why should I like Kanda, he is only my friend...Yes, he is just my friend like others." Retorted Charlotte while furiously blushed.

"Char...I don't say anything about Ichijou Kanda and one more thing, you don't have any friends besides them until now." Sigmund said that to Charlotte.

Charlotte's face becomes redder before she say: "Shut up, Sigmund! If you say anything again, I will not let you have meat as your meal again from now on."

"...Alright, I will stop. How about your engagement with that guy, Felix Kingsfort, Char? I knew that you had been engaged by your family towards that guy's family since your childhood. How about you ask Ichijou Kanda for his opinion? I think that he could help you." Sigmund relented before he talked about her circumstances.

Charlotte becomes downcast and say: "It's fine, Sigmund. I don't want to talk about this to them as Felix's family has more influence that my Belew's family."

She continues: "Anyway, I will solve this by myself and I don't want you to tell them about this. Do you hear me, Sigmund? If not, I will give you sunflower's seeds as your meal."

"...Fine, Char." Sighed Sigmund as he looks Charlotte raises from her seat.

Charlotte going to her bed before she laying down and hugging a pillow while mentioning Kanda's name for a few time before she had slept.

==Kanda's room.==

After Kanda had separated with Raishin, Kanda contacts Claris through his communication device.

"What can I help you, Kanda-sama?" Asked Claris from the other side.

"I want to ask whether Raven had gathered information about the case of "Carnibal Candy"." Replied Kanda.

"From what she had investigated, "Cannibal Candy" is inside Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machineart where its identity currently is unknown. They also had said that the Army are also investigating about this case where they had sent their agents inside the academy. The agent's name is..." Explained Claris.

"Akabane Raishin." Interrupted Kanda.

"...Yes, Akabane Raishin is the agent that had been ordered to infiltrate inside the academy where his task is to be send any information that the Army might need from him. He also had personal mission which he wants to exert revenge on Magnus, 1st rank in the Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machineart."

"Thank you for the information, Claris." Replied Kanda at her.

"It's our pleasure to help you, Kanda-sama." Replied Claris before continues: "Is there anything new you want to instruct us, Kanda-sama?"

"Currently, there is no new instruction for all of you. Just manage those cafe and information gathering task by Raven's team. I will inform you later if I need any assistance." Replied Kanda.

"Yes, Kanda-sama." Claris said that before the communication had been ended by him and Kanda went to sleep.
