Chapter 78 Are you my captain?

Hi guys, this is Voiceless_Lord. Just like some of you had guessed, the next world is Unbreakable Machine-Doll. I know that some of you had asked why this world first and not the world from Isekai Seikishi no Monogatari.

From our past voting session, Unbreakable Machine-Doll and Isekai Seikishi no Monogatari had received same number of votes during three days of voting session which I knew that some of the new readers had casted their votes but I'm sorry very much that your votes are invalid as already past the voting period. Therefore, I had decided to choose those two for my next world after Asobi ni Iku Yo. I will write story from Unbreakable Machine-Doll for 2nd world before Isekai Seikishi no Monogatari for 3rd world.

For a remainder, I might not fully followed the storyline just like the canon but I will try my best to set the plot smoothly. Anyway, let's go to the today's chapter without wasting any time more.

After Kanda had ordered Claris to exchange some of this world's currency with a block of gold from their storage ring, they went to buy a residence for their hideout.

During the currency exchange, Kanda also knew that the value of gold in this world is extraordinary as this metal is one of the essential materials to create a high quality automaton so Claris could get about 300 000 USD for one kilogram gold ingot.

(A/N: I will use the currency in our world as I don't know about the currency that had been used in this anime.)

Kanda had bought a three-storey building with the price of 150 000 USD where Kanda will use the first floor for his business which is opening a cafe. The second floor will be used for their rooms and guest rooms while the third floor are open-air area with a small garden there where Kanda could relax there.

Kanda can use the cafe to collect some information in this world when his customer had dined at his cafe. Claris, and two battle maids will act as the workers for the cafe while Raven, Hawk, and Swallow will sometime work as the worker or doing their reconnaissance job in this world.

Kanda had tried to communicate with his people at the "Sanctuary" but failed. However, he had succeeded to communicate with Eris, Aoi, Manami, and Melwin through telepathy which due to their connection as his harem members after he had asked his system about that.

Kanda had talked with them about his arrival in this world where he currently located at Liverpool, a port city inside British Empire after he had asked around the people in that city. Kanda also told them about his next plan where he planned to join Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machineart due to the quest that had been given at him.

Eris and others also had told him about the state of the portal gate after he and his team had passed through it and currently Ichika and her team had started their modification on the portal gate and gigantic portal gate for the spaceships with the cooperation from Antonia and Jens. Eris also had told him that their planet had been governed smoothly and efficiently by those officials that had been elected and currently their next agenda is to increase their security around the "Sanctuary" and "Industrial Park".

Kanda ended his telepathy with his girls before he checks the progress of his residence's arrangement. Kanda can see that various furniture and equipment for the cafe had arrived and Kanda also helped others to put all the objects in order.

After that, Kanda invites all of his team members to eat the dinner with him which he had said to them that they are currently his family in this world so there is no need formal interaction between them outside their work time. Claris and others nod their heads as understanding to his words which they continue their dinner before all of them enter their room where each room had Claris-Raven pair, Hawk-Swallow pair and Ann-Marie pair.

Ann and Marie are the maids from battle maids division which had been chose to follow him here. Both of them also a twin where Marie is the older sister while Ann is the younger sister. Both of them had same long black hair until their back which had been tied into ponytail and Marie had yellow eyes while Ann had brown eyes. They also had slender and athletic figures where their breasts and waist are not very prominent compared to other girls on Kanda's side like Manami and Eris.

"AL, can you show my status now?" Asked Kanda in soft tone.

Anyway, I'm grateful with my current status and my previous rental skills also had became my permanent skills albeit its level had been lowered. Other than <Firearms Mastery> at level 1, my other skills had increased its level which I'm satisfied with that." Kanda commented all of that after he checked his skills.

Kanda looks at his system's inventory and say: "Right now, I have two items coupons and one coupon for skill but I don't know if I need to use it right now or later. I hope that I could get an item that could help me with my quest as I need an automaton to enter Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machinart."

Kanda had found about one of the requirements to enter that school after he had asked the people here about the academy's direction where they kindly told him about that academy.

From their explanation, Walpurgis Royal Academy of Machineart is an academy that draws excellent students who are keen to be a Puppeteer around the world. This academy had focused on upholding the highest standards to potential puppeteers where the academy emphasizes greatly on "ability-ism" throughout its syllabus. This is most evident in the Walpurgis Night, where abilities are the sole judging factors and he is needed to enter that event to complete his quest.

Kanda had thought to use Lawry for his entrance at the academy but he set aside that idea as Lawry is not suitable for battle as she leans on the support department.

After he thinks for a while by closing his eyes before opening his eyes back and say: "I will just use this two item first and I will leave it to the fate."

He nods at his idea and starts to use those coupons after he had raised his LUCK stats from 85 to 100 using those free stat points while putting the rest of the points at other attributes.

Satisfied with his new upgraded attributes, Kanda looks at the animation for his coupon's usage in his mind where a black box with question mark on each of its sides is spinning around before two cards with different colours are coming out from that box.

Kanda looks at the cards where one card has silver colour and another one has golden colour where Kanda had touched the silver card first.

A bright white light had shone in his room which cause him to raise from his laying posture and sitting on the bed. In his hand, a flattened metallic sphere about three inches in diameter with a number of smaller spheres merged into it. A strange design can be seen at the top of that object.

"What is this object? It's looks so strange." Kanda said that as he looks at that object before that object slightly shines and changes into a girl where the girl is standing at the side of his bed.

That girl has green eyes and long blond hair that turns darker towards its ends. She wears a light-colored white and green gown while does not wear any shoes. Kanda can estimates her age at early teens where she has slender figure just like Melwin. The girls slowly opening her eyes and looks at Kanda before she say: "Are you my captain?"

Before Kanda could answer her question, his door had been knocked by someone before a voice can be heard from the other side of the door which belonged to Claris.
