28 Chapter 28 Advice, Volleyball, Rejection

Hi guys, this is the next chapter. I'm sorry for the title at previous chapter. If some of the readers already read the chapter earlier, the title is different before I change it after a few hours later. I'm forget to edit the title as I'm already thinking that the title is correct for that chapter but I only realize that when I had already published it and the reader asking about the chapter content is different with the title.

Manami tells Kanda about her frustration during her date with Kio during the double date. She also told him that she already gives some signs for her advances on Kio but he ignores her or she can say that he is too dense to understand her signs. When she trying to hold Kio's hand like Kanda and his girlfriends, Kio just say that they are not like a kid to be lost at their own hometown. When she told Kio that they may look like a couple but he said that the true couple is Kanda, Eris, and Aoi. The more Manami goes through the date with him, the more frustration that she felt on Kio. The intimate actions between Kanda and his girlfriends during the date also make her more jealous as she want to do the same thing with Kio. Her frustration become max when she saw Kanda and Aoi had kissed when he had visited her at the room.

Manami: Ahhhhhhh! Damn that Kio, I already make my move at him but he still dense on it. And you, Kanda, don't shows your affection with your girlfriends intimately in front of me, I'm burning in jealousy, you know.

Manami said that after telling him her story before glaring at him.

Kanda: Hahaha, sorry about that Manami. I love all my girlfriends, so I need to spoil them. And Manami, you need to tell Kio directly that you likes him or he will not know about your feeling.

Manami: Humph...NO! I want him to tell me that he likes me not the other way around.

Kanda: It's that your decision, good luck to receive his confession later though I don't know how long until he confesses to you or maybe no confession at all.

Manami: ...is it really I need to tell him my feeling first?

Kanda: Of course. You already see how dense he is, so you need to tell him directly or it will never work for you.

Manami: What if he don't really like me?

Kanda: Whether he likes you or not, you need to tell him your feeling first. How about tonight? You take him to secluded area and confesses to him before we have our fireworks party tonight.

Manami: Hmm...*sighs* fine. I will do that tonight.

Kanda: Hahaha, that's the spirit, Manami. Let's go to the chalet, I'm already hungry right now.

Kanda pats her shoulder before he starts to go to the chalet where Maya still waiting for him.

Manami stands still for a while before she slaps both of her cheeks and there is determination expression on her face.

Manami: Yosh!!! Let's do this. I can do it tonight.

She chases Kanda to go back at the chalet.

Both of them eat their lunch where Durel also joining them for lunch where Kanda tells Maya to store the fishes from the fishing for another barbeque party tonight where there will be a fireworks show later.

After lunch, Eris and the others already arrive at the chalet where Eris had told him her experiences going shopping with others. She tells him that she also bought some souveniers for him and the rest at the chalet.

Kanda spends his evening goes to the beach again where they make a 3-to-3 beach volleyball tournament where Kanda make a team with Chaika and Melwin. There are 8 teams had been formed where Kanda team (Kanda, Chaika, Melwin), Eris team (Eris, Aoi, Manami), Antonia team (Antonia, Sarah, Maya), Kio team(Kio and two boys from his club), Kuune team (Kuune, Durel, Jack), Itokazu team (Itokazu, Arisa, Aiko), and another two teams are from maid forces where Antonia invites them to join. The tournament starts by pulling a vote for their opponent.

First round is Kanda team vs 1st Maid team. Kanda team easily win the game with 25 to 10 due to his strong field covering, Chaika's agile movement and Melwin's impressive luck.

The next game is Eris team vs Itokazu team where Eris team easily defeat her opponent with 25 to 15 due to Eris team has strong physical capability within them.

Next, Antonia team vs 2nd Maid team. Antonia team easily collect the point with 15 to 0 before Antonia said to the 2nd Maid team to be serious as she don't want free win from her subordinates. The match become intense which make Antonia extremely exhausted before she finally winning with 27 to 25 due to Sarah and Maya play.

The last match is Kuune team vs Kio team. This match can be said as the most disastrous play in the history of beach volleyball. This due to Kuune team's opponent literally make a pool of blood on their court. When the match starts, Kuune serves the ball where her arm's swinging motion cause her an enormous pair of breast to jiggle around and makes one of Kio's mates to nosebleed before he is fainted. Kio struggles to receive the ball as he also affected by those breasts movement and makes the ball float up above his opponent's net and chance ball to Kuune Team. Jack quickly arrives to the ball before she jumps towards the ball. When she jumps, her breasts that rival Kuune's bounce strongly and cause another one of Kio's mates to nosebleed and fainted too. Finally, Kio also has fainted from being hit by Jack's spike where the ball just goes straight to his face. The match ends due to Kio's team incapable to continue the game and Kuune's team advances to next round where Durel just lazing around.

At the next round, Kanda team vs Antonia team where Antonia Team is the first to serve. The match goes at slow pace before gradually become intense due to Kanda's teasing at Sarah which makes her mad at him. The score is 15 to Kanda and 5 to Antonia where the ball just coming towards Kanda due to Sarah only trying hard to hit him before she had been scolded by Maya because she couldn't calm herself down. The match starts again where Sarah starts to calm down and ignoring his tease which sometimes she had several tick marks on her head but she not easily becomes angry. The match won by Kanda with 30 to 28 where last point due to Melwin's luck that cause her serve ball to coming into Antonia's court when they don't expect that coming.

The next match is Kuune team vs Eris team where this match becomes the most chaotic match due to numerous amount of shouting and cursing. This due to Manami and Aoi starts to lose their patience when they have seen Kuune team's large asset just bouncing vigorous as they going around in their court to receive the ball from Eris team. Eris team starts to make many mistakes due to presence of large 'external factor' which cost them the match where Kuune team won by 25 to 14.

Finally, the final match between Kanda team vs the strongest force in the world, Kuune Team. Kuune team serves the ball first by Jack and inflicts huge damage to Kanda to her asset but quickly recover to receive the ball and pass to Chaika. Chaika setting the ball for him so he can spikes the ball but makes another damage to him as his spike ball hit Kuune's breasts which the ball just bounces off and allows Jack to score first point. The game continues where both teams start to pile up the point while Kanda just receives tremendous amount of internal damage during the game. The game finally won by Kanda team with 25 to 23 where Kanda feels that he win the game but his inner self feels like he lost to them.

The reward for the tournament is limited edition of premium black card from Antonia Group where the winner can spend unlimited amount of money with that card. Although Kanda don't want to receive that, who's the one say no to free money.

After the volleyball match, time slowly pass through and dinner time has come. Just like yesterday, Kanda helps prepare the ingredients including the fishes that he had caught with Manami.

All the food already done cooking and everyone start to fill up their stomach as they are really exhausted from playing volleyball before.

Kanda: Manami, are you ready to make you move later?

Kanda goes closer to Manami while holding a plate of cooked meat in his right hand.

Manami: Of course, though I'm a bit of nervous right now. Do you think that I can do it right?

Kanda: Hmm...well, I dob't know but I can only advice you to act just like usual when you're talking with him later.

Manami: Ok, thank you for your advice, Kanda. I'm really appreciate for your help.

Kanda: Hahaha, it's fine, Manami. I'm just trying to let my friend here to be a couple with her crush. Anyway, it's almost time for the fireworks, I think that you can starts to bring Kio to another place.

Manami: Alright.

Kanda sees Manami starts walking towards Kio before she talking with him. She and Kio quietly leave from everyone where Kanda just wishes her luck in his thought.

Kanda goes to his girlfriends where they just feeding him some of the food where Melwin still blushing when she follows Eris and Aoi tk feed him. She had been called as cute by Kanda when he saw her expression which makes her pout on his comments before disappears when feeling his pat on the head.

The maid forces quickly busying themselves for the fireworks preparation where they only spends 15 minutes to set up all the fireworks.

They say the countdown together where the fireworks have been released at zero count which cause dazzling scenery when the fireworks explodes in the air. Multiple explosions can be seen where various formation of fireworks can be seen by everyone.

When everyone still mesmerize with the show of the fireworks, Kanda accidently glances at the direction of Manami and Kio had been went and sees Manami coming back with her face looking downwards.

Kanda: Manami, what has happened to you? How about your confession?

He quickly coming towards her before asking her with the tone of concern.

Manami: K-Ka-Kanda...Kio...not accept my confession.

Manami rises her face and he can see tears coming out from her eyes before she hugging him tightly and say that while sobbing.

Kanda just hugs her back while caressing back of her head where she just sobbing silently on his chest.

He already goes away from everyone and takes her at the fishing spot where he spends his morning with Manami. She sat beside him where she leans her head on his shoulder while gazing at the ocean.

Manami: Kanda...

Manami breaks the silent by talking first.

Kanda: Yes?

Manami: Am I not beautiful enough?

Kanda: No, you're beautiful girl, Manami?

Manami: So, why he not accept my feeling towards him?

Kanda: Maybe he has a reason not to accept your feeling.

Manami: WHAT IS IT HIS REASON? I'M EVEN TELLING MY FEELING FIRST TO HIM. WHAT DOES HE REALLY WANT?

Manami separates from his shoulder before she stands up and shouts loudly while feeling frustrated with what had happened to her.

Kanda: I'm sorry, Manami. I don't have the answer for that.

Manami: Kanda! Please tell me your honest opinions about myself.

Manami turns her gaze at the still sitting Kanda.

Kanda: You want to hear my honest opinions.

He slowly stands up while brushing the dirt on his pants before he gazes at her eyes.

Manami: Yes.

She just returns his gaze with serious expression.

Kanda: Well...you're violent, short-tempered girl and always freeloading at the house where your only benefit is your big breasts.

Manami: Kanda, are you want to make me angry?

Manami just has hateful expression when she listens to his opinions about herself.

Kanda: Just listen to me first, Manami. Even though you're just like what I have been described, I'm still respect you as you're brave person and not hesitate to protect your friends. However, your big breast still big merit for me.

Manami blushing hard when she first listening to his description before changes to annoying expression when she had heard him praises her breasts again.

Manami: I don't know whether to hit you or not when I heard your mentions my breasts again. But thank you for telling me your honest thought.

Kanda: Sure, Manami.

Manami: If I want to ask you to make me as your girlfriend, are you going to accept it?

Kanda: Manami...I think that you might consider your choice carefully, there are many suitable person for your caliber. Right now, you're not thinking straight as you've been rejected. Don't let this clouded your mind.

Kanda said that gently while facing at her face before gazing at the ocean back.

Manami just looks at his face before her face changes into determined look.

Manami: Kanda, please look at me.

Kanda: What is it, Manami?

Manami calls him which he complied. Manami quickly kisses at his lips when he looking at her face.
