51 A Battle Between Two Lords - Finale

Asahi dodged a blow from Milim and kicked her in the side, then he snapped his fingers and locked her in place. "There you lose, now calm down"

Milim didn't say anything however it was evident that she was trying to break free from his [Omni-locks] however that was impossible for her so she was stuck in place. Asahi sighed and took away the locks. Immediately Milim charged at him with a sword but he didn't block it and hugged her, "Come on, I'm sorry for not paying to attention to you." She growled in anger.

(A/N: She's still in her combat mode, so she's taller and looks older)

Milim tried to get free from his hold but he didn't let her and kept hugging her, slowly but surely Milim was getting calmer and calmer while Guy looked on in interest.

A few minutes had passed since then and Milim was still struggling against him. Asahi sighed and made up his mind, "I'm sorry for not coming for you, Milim. Be by my side, I know it's being selfish but I want you because I realize that I love you." he said, his words left Milim in temporary shock before he smashed his lips against hers. She returned his kiss with equal vigor, but her cheeks were red from his words. They separated and Asahi smiled at her, "Are you fine now?" he asked in a warm voice.

She nodded her head in a daze, before he Asahi sheepishly rubbed the back of his head, "So your answer?" he asked with a bit of concern in his voice, She gave him a bright smile and said, "Of course, why do you think I fought you, I love you as well!", Milim gave Asahi a big hug which he returned.

After a few moments passed, they both separated and Asahi had a genuine smile on his face.

ONE DAY EARLIER, RIMURU POV

Rimuru woke up after his evolution and immediately went into his human form, before he could investigate the changes however, he was interrupted by Benimaru kneeling in front of him and saying, "Lord Rimuru Congratulations! but we have a problem!"

"What happened?" he asked while looking around, he noticed that the ground was subtly shaking and explosions could be heard in the distance.

"Is it related to this shaking and these explosions?!" he asked he was now concerned for the safety of his people. Benimaru nodded and said, "Lord Asahi and Lady Milim are fighting!" he then pointed in a certain direction where smoke could be seen rising while explosions took place.

"Why the hell are they fighting?!" He asked, Benimaru answered, "That is, we don't know" Rimuru nodded before deploying the spell that let him see across large distances and project the scene, it was one of his personal creations.

(A/N: Rimuru used it in the war against the Eastern Empire to see enemy movements and encampments using it, so I'm pretty sure it has enough range)

A screen like display opened up in the middle of the town showing a destroyed land, where two blurs could be seen colliding, one pink the other black, their collision would destroy the land more and more, while they would eventually stop and fire beams at each other or various elemental attacks causing gigantic explosions, the two blurs of course were Asahi and Milim which could be seen when they stopped to exchange ranged attacks.

Rimuru laughed awkwardly as he sweat dropped, "These monsters." The other monsters also looked on in awe as they saw a battle on a scale incomprehensible to them.

"Lady Milim is expected but for Lord Asahi to show this level of strength." Benimaru remarked, Hakuro added, "Look closely, Lord Asahi seems to be overpowering her" with wide eyes.

Liliana looked at the battle with wide eyes and said, "This level of destruction, what are they, this is beyond a Heretic God." (A/N: Remember that this Liliana hasn't seen many of them at all, other wise I doubt she'd say this after Sun Wukong)

Kumara looked at this happily she said, "As expected of my Master." Fuze and his men, along with Youm, had arrived at Tempest within these days to provide aid while Gazel had also arrived with his Pegasus knights. The need to keep up an alliance with Tempest had increased several times because of Asahi becoming a Demon Lord and giving his backing to the Jura Tempest Federation.

(A/N: this is pretty plausible, think about it)

Gazel came to Rimuru's side he said, "Rimuru! Is that the Demon Lord Asahi?" Rimuru sighed and said, "Sigh... Yes that's him." Gazel nodded and looked at the fight, they had to keep the Alliance with Rimuru at all costs, this was not something humans could go up against, He turned to his Head Knight, "It seems keeping up alliances with my junior has become even more important."

His head knight nodded in agreement and said, "It is as you say my Lord"

Fuze had cold sweat running down his back as he looked at the fight between the two demon lords, he Soo did not sign up for this but it was a good thing he came here, after seeing that this country's protector could overpower the Destroyer he was hundred percent sure that his King's decision to always side with this country was the right one, and that Falmuth's invading force had been annihilated.

While Youm, well Youm was praying for his Homeland that Asahi's wrath would not extend to it, because it wasn't even an ant compared to the level of power being displayed right now, his men were in a similar state.

However one thing to be noted that no citizen of Tempest panicked, the reason being that both of the people fighting were friends of their Lord and would not harm their nation.

Carrera was also here she was looking at the display with a very big smile on her face, after all who wouldn't be happy having their lover distort the land while fighting against one of the strongest people in the world and overpowering them.(A/N: umm Carrera I'm pretty sure no normal girl would want that)

Next to her was a little purple haired girl who looked like she had beaten up, she was looking at the screen with surprise, while also having a huge smile on her face, it seemed that her first and last master would be a great person. After all she had already lost to Carrera she had no other choice but to submit to Carrera's master, but if he was weak she would kill him slowly and painfully, but it seemed that was not the case and so she was now willing to bow her head to this person because it was obvious that she had no chance at winning, but she was glad about this and so she smiled.
