Charlie Swan

It's been a week since the nomad incident. As far as the Vultori, I told Carlisle that if it came to it I would take care of the Vultori if they became a threat. Not doubting me for a moment he agreed but said he'd still gather allies as witnesses so there would be no claiming I went after them unprovoked.

So that's the plan for that, now though, we are about to go meet with Bella's father to explain our relationship to him. As a bit of an ice breaker, I looked at him from a distance the other day and found his mate bond thread. It's not just the super natural that has that special someone out there that would make them complete, regular folk have the thread too, and using my ability I chased his all the way to the reservation to a pretty looking Quileute tribes woman. Who happened to be one of my mother in-laws, Ms. Sue Clearwater, mother to Leah and her little brother Seth. Sue, being privy to what I am, and what her daughter is now, new of the mate bond and was nearly overwhelmed with joy and nervousness at the news that Charlie Swan was actually her mate bond, being that they've been good friends for many years. Bella, knowing how dense her father could be explained to Sue she would have to be very clear with her intentions with Charlie. Sue has been spending quite a bit of time with charlie lately, and I may of had her drop hints to Charlie to prepare him and get him used to the idea of his little girl being in a polygamist relationship. Sue spoke to him about how Leah was dating a very gentlemanly young man that moved into town a few months ago, who happened to be also dating Rosalie Cullen simultaneously, and they're all aware and happy with the way things are.

Now Charlie may be a bit dense but he is by no means a stupid man. He can put 2 and 2 together. He knows Bella has been spending time with Rosalie and Leah a lot lately, and by extension spending time with me. So now he has a pretty good idea of what is going on. When Bella called him earlier today to tell him she has something to discuss with him, he didn't seem agitated or flustered in the slightest.

That brings us to now. Standing in the living room of Charlie's home standing across from the stoic man himself. Sue has on of his hands in hers and she's smiling happily. I'm standing there with an outstretched hand waiting for him to decide to accept me or not. Not a word has been spoken other than a brief introduction and an exchange of names.

"So.. You're dating my daughter?" He asks calmly.

"Yes sir, I am." I tell him equally as calm.

"And you're also dating Leah and Rosalie Cullen?" He asks again.

"Yes sir." I tell him not flinching away from the uncomfortable questioning.

"...." Charlie just looks at me waiting to see if I'll break and show any weakness. After what felt like an hour "And that is okay in your eyes? You can tell me honestly that you like these girls equally and don't play favoritism or bias towards one or the other?" He asks.

"Mr. Swan, I assure you, it was never my plan to be in a large relationship like this. But I do love and care for each of them. Equally. They're all special, and for some unknown reason they put up with me." I tell him somewhat honestly. 'He doesn't need to know I wished for all this and they put up with me because of the mate bond so they're somewhat inclined to love me and care for me just as I am with them.' I think.

"I see." he says. Then he reaches out and grasps my hand trying to squeeze a bit. "Hurt any of them and I'll find you.." He says before giving my hand a shake and letting go.

"Yes sir." I tell him with a smile. 'Like I could ever hurt them, ha, please I'd sooner part with my own cock!' I muse.

The tension in the air fades and we all sit around the table while passing around the dishes I prepared for our little family dinner meet and greet.

"I have to say Adrian, when Leah told me earlier you made all this food I was a bit wary of it, I mean you're what 17? How could you know what you're doing in the kitchen? But this steak is perfect!" Charlie says around a mouth full of medium rare Japanese wagyu.

"I appreciate your praise Mr. Swan. Cooking is a hobby of mine. I'll admit to being a bit of a foody, and I watch a lot of the cooking channel along with reading several cookbooks." I tell him before passing him a dinner roll. "For the juice.." I tell him offering up the warm rolls. He takes one and swipes it across his plate collecting up the juices from the steak before taking a bite and growling in contentment.

After dinner we all sat in the den talking and laughing when I saw Mr. Swan's face harden a bit. "So, I don't pretend to understand you're relationship, and I also know you were probably also there on the trip she took a few weeks ago, but I need it to be made known. Bella will finish high school, so there will be no unexpected surprises, am I understood?" He says looking me straight in the eye. He know's being teenagers, they'll make mistakes but he will not have his baby girl showing up pregnant still in high school.

"You have my word Mr. Swan. I assure you I've been nothing but a gentleman, and I respect your daughter too much to do anything unbecoming." 'for now' I tell him finishing in my mind. He doesn't need to know that, as soon as my house is done being built I plan to rail his daughter and my other mates till they can't stand without assistance.

"Then we wont have any problems Mr. Tepes." He says the tension releasing from his shoulders.

After leaving the Swan house:

"We should go hunt before we bring Bella back. It's been a couple days." Leah says. She has had harder of a time adjusting to her new diet. As a wolf she does love a hunt, but just hunting for the blood really bothered her so we've been using Bella's truck to take the animals to a butcher I pay a lot of hush money to process all the meat for us and I end up cooking it for us. This has appeased her a good deal.

"Sounds good to me!" I tell her with a smile and a kiss to her temple. Usually Rosalie drives us most places being the car fanatic that she is she loves being behind the wheel. Personally that works for me, that frees me up to relax with my other mates, as long as I do slide over occasionally to kiss her cheek we're all happy with the arrangement.

Later that night:

"Pass that to me.." Bella says pointing to the rolled joint in my hands. At first I thought she was kidding but the seriousness in her face told me otherwise.

"Bells you don't have to... I know we all have been but we didn't mean to make you feel like you had to do it too if you're not comfortable with it." I tell her still holding it joint looking at her out stretched hand.

"Adrian... My dad told you not to get me pregnant... That was uncomfortable.. That whole little dinner was a bit stressful. I want to decompress... I've seen how relaxed you and Leah get, and I've seen Rosie eat 4 bags of Cheetos before becoming a giggling mess... I feel like I might need that about now, hehe." Bella explains before taking the joint from my hands and taking a long pull off of it. "*cough* That is a lot smoother than I imagined." She said before passing it to Leah.

"Adrian doesn't buy cheap shit.." Rosie says still glaring a bit a Bells. "And are you saying I don't relax enough or that I'm not a cheerful person?" Rosie questions in mock anger.

"hehehehe, ahem... hehe, noo, I'm just saying, hehe, that you're so put together most of the time! It's nice seeing you be silly sometimes, hehehe." Bella says between giggles..

'She's such a light weight... She only hit it once.... maybe that's enough for her..' Adrian, Leah, and Rosie thought at the same time looking amused at the giggling little brunette.

After unwinding for a while we all settled down on the big couch with some snacks watching some weird knock off version of Law & Order that Rosie was addicted to. We're all in our normal spots I'm leaning on Rosie, Leah and Bella are under my arms cuddled to my chest.

"Adrian.." Rosie says getting my attention.

"Yes my love?" I respond looking up at her.

"I think we should take a trip next weekend. Edward is suppose to come back to Forks tomorrow and he'll be here for a bit, and I want to go to Denali to see my friends in that coven. Tanya and I were always really close, Kate and Irina are very friendly too. I want to introduce you.. would that be okay?" she asks shyly like I'd ever tell this woman no.

"Sure babe, we'll run up there when we get out of school Friday and make a weekend of it, how does that sound?" I ask before stretching up a bit to kiss her lips.

"Road trip!!" Leah says excitedly.

"I'll ask Dad in the morning!" Bella chimes in an excited/sleepy tone. Poor girl is ready to crash after her earlier run in with the devil's lettuce.

I pull my phone from my pocket and just wait a moment. The girls look at me strangely for a moment.

*phone vibrates*

I take a look at the text from Alice.

"They're in for the trip too. Jasper already called ahead so they know to expect us." I tell them and they just laugh. "What?" I ask

"You just knew she was going to message you about it?" Leah says.

"Alice and Adrian seem to always be on the same page it's so cute. She's been my sister longer but I honestly feel like her sibling bond with Adrian is 1000 times stronger than our own." Rosie says chuckling.

"I didn't mean to steal her from you Rosie, I just have this overwhelming urge to protect and cherish her." I tell them and they all burst into giggles again.

"I don't blame you Adrian, like I said it's cute and trust me I understand it. Hell you even spoil Jasper. Seems like he just comes over all the time and next thing we know you're in the kitchen making whatever he requests like you're his own personal chef then yall sit in here playing video games then all the sudden Emmett shows up and yall play for hours. It's nice that you've bonded so deeply with the people I've come to think of as my siblings over the years. That's all I'm saying." Rosie explains and Leah just looks at her funny.

"Damn girl, did you even breathe during that winded explanation??HEHEH!" Leah asks and Bella and I just snicker.

"Oh shush! That's why I don't smoke that stuff!!" Rosie says embarrassed.

"No no no no, we love it Rosie really!! I was just picking I promise!" Leah says panicked at Rosie's pouting.

"You know we love you Rosie!" Bella adds placing kisses on Rosalie's hand that she's holding.

"I love you all!" I tell them snuggling into Rosie while pulling the other 2 closer and enjoying their warmth. 'Thank you office working after life guy!'

(A/N: so apparently I can get a bit "cringe" with some of the content, I just see it as wholesome.

SO I will say this once more for the last time. If this is going to bother you. If you're hoping it'll change...It wont... And you're entitled to your opinion and all that, but instead of being negative just drop the story. You don't have to read any of this bullshittery that i'm putting out. I don't mean that in a rude way or anything! Some people are going to like it and some people are going to hate it I get that. Different stokes for different folks and all that.
