21 Chapter 21: Meeting My Real Family

"Okay, I haven't told anyone about what you told me about you being Zoë and Annabeth being in your head," Renée began, "are you sure that she's in your head?"

"I'm as sure as much as Percy is a Seaweed Brain and Leo loves to burn things," I answered as she chuckled

"If Annabeth could speak through you, I would ask her to prove it," she said after her chuckle as we started our ride

That's a good idea, Annabeth said as I sighed

"You just gave her an idea Renée," I said as she chuckled and Annabeth muttered in my head. All of a sudden it felt as if I was thrown into the back of my mind as a spectator and I heard something come out of my mouth. "Good morning Renée, I hope you prepared a counselor's meeting for this sort of thing."

Renée pulled over after being startled, "Annabeth," she exclaimed glaring at me

"Zoë did tell you that you gave me an idea," Annabeth said as I was growing impatient in my head. Hold your horses you'll get control back soon enough, Annabeth said to me as I sighed

Fine, but could you please warn me whenever you're about to take control so I can warn other people?

There was a pause before Annabeth answered, I promise, she said before talking to Renée who confirmed the counselors meeting

"I already asked Percy and Chiron to see if they could arrange a meeting last minute for something like this. Are you sure you want to do this Annabeth, this is your first time speaking through your daughter," she asked as Annabeth made my head nod

"I want to do this or nobody's going to believe her," she began after Renée voiced her concerns. "If she just comes out and says that I'm in her head everyone's going to want proof, hell Clarisse might want to see if she got any tactical ideas from me."

I chuckled in the back of my head as Renée chuckled, "Okay," she began with a sigh, "just let Zoë have control when she walks in and makes the announcement."

"I will make sure of that," she said as I felt my arm move to give her a thumbs-up right before I was given control back. "That was weird," I said blinking my stinging eyes

"Yeah," Renée said, "would you look at me for a minute?"

I looked at her and her eyes widened, "What?"

"When Annabeth took control of you, your eyes changed to all grey," she said and I rose an eyebrow

"So, you're saying that our eyes change color when someone else is in control," I asked her as she nodded

It would explain why Luke's eyes were gold when Kronos had control over him, Annabeth chimed in and I nodded

"What did Annabeth say," Renée asked as we started moving once more

"She said that it would explain why Luke's eyes were gold while Kronos was controlling him," I replied. "That would also explain eidolons too since the color of their eyes change with each possession," I added and she nodded. "So, let me get this straight," I began once more. "We have Kronos whose eyes turn to gold while he has a host then we have three possessive slaves of Gaea who change the eye color of whomever they're possessing to gold as well?"

"It appears so," Renée started then her face slackened, "that would mean a war with Kronos and Gaea would be terrible since we wouldn't be able to tell who's in control until powers are being used."

I nodded, "But that kind of war isn't possible since Gaea is still asleep and Annabeth told me that it would take centuries for Kronos to reform."

Renée nodded as she had a look of sadness in her eyes, "Both of those wars brought a lot of heartbreak," she said as she stared straightforward

"You were part of both of them?"

Renée nodded as she closed her eyes for a split second to wipe the tears with one of her hands. "I was and I lost a lot of friends that I held dear," she began, "But with the end of it I made new ones that brought me hope."

I smiled, "That's good," I said as we pulled up to where the camp was, I sighed as I saw Thalia's tree standing at the entrance with the fleece on its lowest branch.

"Are you sure you want to do this," she asked me as we got out of the car

I nodded, "I don't want Percy to go all around the world looking for a consciousness that he's already found," I said. "Besides, I get to have a nice biological father even though he may be a Seaweed Brain," I added after which Renée chuckled as we stepped over the barrier

"Rose, Renée," Percy called out as he walked up with Chiron, "how was the trip here," he asked giving a hug to Renée and me

"It went smoothly," Renée replied, "is the counselor meeting ready to start," she asked as the two nodded. "Okay then, let's get started," she said as we started walking to the Big House

"Renée," Percy began, "do you think Rose should go to this meeting," he asked as I sighed and Annabeth groaned

"Percy," I began walking up to him as I was almost eye level to him, "I was the person who told Renée to inform you that I have news about Annabeth; why else would I be following her to the Rec Room?"

He shrugged and scratched the back of his head sheepishly, "Sorry," he said, "you're right," she added then cursed. "You are so much like Annabeth," he added once more before he made his way to the cabins

Chiron then cantered over to us, "I hope there is a reason for this relation," he said as the three of us walked to the Rec Room. "And I do hope that you have some proof for this," he added as I glanced at Renée with a smirk as she nodded

May I give the old centaur a surprise, Annabeth asked

Yes, you may, I answered with a smirked as Annabeth took over

"Why yes she does Chiron," she said when she took over me without skipping a beat of walking

The old centaur looked as shocked as Renée was but then sighed, "Well I hope that you two will explain to the group some sort of semblance of what's going on."

"That we will but until Zoë tells them everything that we've discussed I will be dormant up until she needs me for proof," she answered as he nodded right as I was returned control of my body. "I hope you understand this sort of security before the meeting, I'd rather not have any weapons pointed in my direction since we don't know the when or why," I added as he nodded once more

"I understand entirely Zoë Jackson," he said with a smirk, "if that's whom you two think you are."

I nodded, "We figured everything out the night before I returned to school, I told Renée and she gave me this bracelet which only I could see the real name. Only demigods and Legacies can see the true name other than that all they see is Rose," I explained as he nodded

"One of the weapons Leo created for you and your siblings, he had some help from Hazel in covering it with Mist," he explained. "Have you tried it out yet," he asked as I shook my head, "try it, just rotate your wrist."

I nodded and did as I was told, soon enough I was holding a gleaming dagger that showed my grey-blue eyes. "It's beautiful," I gasped as I looked into my eyes for a minute before I repeated the motion putting that dagger away

Chiron chuckled, "You may need that for when Clarisse tries to stab you with something," he said as we made our way to the Rec Room

I sighed as I walked in to face all of the counselors who were doing their own thing

The Stoll twins were talking with each other, stealing glances at the chair where Percy usually sits next to Nico. Will sat on the other side of Nico as the two were talking about possible locations for their children and the women of the Seven. Clarisse was busy trying to spin a dagger on its tip while Chiron, now in his wheelchair, took his place in between her and Mr. D. Malcolm sat across from Percy muttering about something on Annabeth's bed as Clovis slept next to him. Jason and Thalia were talking about which was the best way to electrocute someone with Percy's power over water. Miranda was trying to grow plants from her hands as she talked Drew's ear off so much that it looked like that, she was about to fall asleep. Leo was tinkering with something that looked like a tracker as he muttered something that I couldn't catch. Pollux and Butch were discussing whether or not an insane person could make an Iris message to the right person. Laurel and Holly were trying to decide what victory was the biggest in wrestling history while Lou Ellen had her eyes closed sitting straight up. Everything quieted down as Percy entered behind us but as soon as he sat down next to Nico and Jason, I felt all eyes on me

"Hi everyone," I said with a small smile as Renée directed me next to Chiron and took a seat by Drew

"Chiron why is Rose in this meeting," Thalia asked, "no one knows who her parents are and how she can see our weapons and monsters."

"Well Thalia," the centaur began, "Rose is here to answer those questions," he finished then once more all eyes were on me aside from Clovis' since he was still snoring

"Well then," I sighed as I sat next to Chiron, "so I know at least where Annabeth's conscious is and she helped me figure out who I am," right then an uproar of voices came as they all asked me the same question of how. "I'll give you the answer if you let me finish," I said with a growl then everyone quieted. "It started when I met Percy in the Labyrinth, there was this voice in my head only a few days later I found out that I could talk to the voice and I found out that I was talking to my mother. After some lengthy thinking and talking, we concluded that I am Zoë Jackson," I finished with a huff as Clarisse looked at me murderously, I flicked my wrist under the table to prepare for an attack from her. "That is all," I added, and right after I dodged the arrow that was coming from Thalia and blocked Percy's sword.

"What in Hades' name do you think you have the right to make this sort of claim without any proof," Percy asked, anger in his eyes

"If everyone puts their weapons away and promises not to attack me, I will show you my proof," I said as I rolled from another arrow. "Solace," I exclaimed

"Show us your proof with this," he said as I blocked a blow from Nico who came from the shadows. Annabeth and I groaned as I sent her a message

Next dodge I make, take control

You got it, she said just as I rolled from Clarisse's dagger, "Enough," Annabeth said as she blocked Percy's sword and kicked him in the gut. "Here is your proof since you can't talk about this calmly with her, what she is saying is the truth. Valdez, you'd better not through that fireball at me, or else this dagger is being thrown at you. Thalia, Will, Nico, Percy, and Clarisse put your weapons away now; as you can see Renée and Chiron are not attacking."

Everyone froze once Annabeth came, Jason crackled with energy as Leo readied to launch a fireball that he soon extinguished as soon as Annabeth mentioned it. The named counselors put their weapons away as they just looked at me stunned with all of the counselors who didn't attack.

"Annabeth," Percy breathed as I felt her shoot a glare in his direction

"I don't want to hear any of your explanations for attempting to attack someone who claims to be the first legacy found," she growled glaring at everyone who shirked back. "Everyone in here should know at this point that the things that are going to happen will not happen as we plan. I understand if you were attacking someone who only claimed to have me in their head but attacking someone who claims to be my daughter is a little too much. As she said, I didn't start seeing anything until she met Percy. The night before she returned to school, she talked to me and after some thinking, we did figure out who she was as it's the only thing that makes sense. She told Renée the next morning who gave her this," she paused to raise the dagger that soon returned to a bracelet on my wrist. "and told her that she'd train her as soon as possible," she sighed as she finished, "Any questions?"

The Rec Room was silent aside from Clovis' snoring as he somehow slept through everything that had happened. Everyone looked at each other, then at Chiron who had a twinkle in his eyes and at Mr. D who did move a muscle from what he was doing

"So, you don't know how you ended up in her mind," Malcolm asked as Leo bounced in his seat

"That's correct," she said, "I've been trying to think of who'd do this but I can't come up with anyone so far."

"Is Zoë able to listen to what's going on," Thalia asked as Annabeth nodded, "I'm sorry Zoë, I instinctively shot an arrow at you since you claimed to have your mother in your head."

"I apologize for that same reason," Percy said just as I was returned to the driver's seat of my body

"I forgive you all," I began, "as of now Annabeth and I don't have any clue as to which Titan, god or goddess could do this that doesn't want the Seven at their full strength."

Everyone nodded as Malcolm stood, "There is something that I need to show Annabeth, it's on her bed would you mind if I take you there so everyone can discuss what you two just told us," he asked as Leo cheered

"It works," he exclaimed as I smiled since it reminded me of the excitement of Sammy

I nodded, "Lead the way Malcolm," I said as he nodded and we walked to Athena's cabin. "Any idea on what it is," I asked him and he nodded. "What is it," I asked for Annabeths sake

"I believe it's the laptop that she lost in Tartarus," he answered, "it just appeared on her bed one day and no one has been near her bed since she disappeared."

"That's odd," I said as we stepped into the cabin, "what has happened here," Annabeth asked, taking over for a split second as I took in the cabin. Books, maps, laptops, and notes littered the cabin as there were also makeshift beds among the mess

"We've been trying to figure out where you were for a while that we haven't been keeping clean," he said with a shy chuckle

"How in Hades have you passed cabin inspections," I asked as Annabeth apologized before directing me to her bed which was the cleanest spot in the cabin

"Schist," Malcolm cursed before running out of the cabin, I chuckled as I brushed the dusty nightstand that held Annabeth's hate and drakon bone sword

The only reason I didn't have that on me is that Will forbids weapons in the infirmary, Annabeth explained as I felt the weight of it in my hand

It's very comfortable to carry, I thought back to her as I gripped the handle tightly before swinging it in the air diagonally as if I was cutting down a monster that I was chest level with. Easy to maneuver with too

I am afraid to ask but how do you already know how to wield daggers and swords, Annabeth asked as I smirked while putting the sword back in its place

When you read enough books and watch enough TV your imagination tends to go wild trying to figure out how people fight with certain weapons, I replied as I sat on her bed which held the laptop.

I am not surprised, you are my daughter, Annabeth said which made me smirked as I ran my hand over the Delta symbol. Why don't you open it, it might hold some answers as to why it just appeared, she suggested as my hand moved to its lip

Okay, I answered bracing myself for anything that may happen, but luckily for me nothing did and the login screen flashed on. Annabeth told me the password and soon I was looking at plans scattered all over the desktop.

May I take over to clean it up and look over everything, she asked

You have my permission mom, I replied, and soon I was watching screens minimize on the toolbar as she opened tabs on web browsers and opening documents, writing notes of what we know so far. The way she was typing it was sort of a combination of class notes yet it seemed like in a letter format as if she was writing a letter to herself. Eventually, she stopped writing and put my hair up before searching for people who would have control over the mind and body. She started ruling out Olympians who had control over mind besides Hera, she grumbled as she typed the Queen's name on her list of possible suspects. She then looked at a list of Titans that she found in a nearby book that was sprawled open. She looked at the names then turned to one of the pages and began to read the description of Dolos. He was the Titan opposite of Hermes but he helped Prometheus bring to life the two famous statues. She shook her head once she realized that he would have nothing to do with it. Before she turned the next suspected Titan, a knock sounded at the door

"Come in," she said as she typed something more into her notes that she brought up with a swipe on the mouse pad. Soon Percy stepped in and looked around the cabin. "Please don't say cabin inspections are happening already," Annabeth muttered as Percy picked his way to the bed where I was sitting

"No but Malcolm is running around frantically trying to get everyone to help clean it up since he doesn't want you to," he said with a chuckle. "I'm not just meaning you Annabeth, I'm also meaning Zoë because from what Renée says she's a bit of a clean freak," he added blushing a little. "I'm sorry," he finally said as he looked down into his lap after sitting on the floor next to the bed. "I reacted too quickly, I didn't think that this would happen," he finished

"Perce," Annabeth began, "No one expected for this to happen, not even Zoë," she sighed. "When she first saw you, she thought you looked familiar as I was trying to talk to you. I didn't know what to do because I just woke up in her head at that point only to hear you say that you were looking for me. Before I woke up Zoë was only Rose, a girl who has been through a rough life and is tired of things going on."

Percy smiled, "I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's going to apologize to you and Zoë," he said. "Thalia's currently trying to think of ways to make you happy," he added as Annabeth chuckled

"Her presence alone makes me happy, just as much as you make me happy by being here," she said as Percy blushed.

"Just to let you know that when you are in control you look like Annabeth more than our daughter," he said as I felt Annabeth blushed

"Would you like to talk to her or keep talking to me," she asked as Percy thought for a minute

"I would like to talk to her since she hasn't had any biological parents since she was eleven," he said as I felt Annabeth nod before control was returned

"Hey Dad," I said as I glanced at the notes that Annabeth had written, in the back of my head I couldn't read much but I figured what she was writing

"Hey Zoë," he said looking at me, "how did you get used to that so quickly," he asked me as I grinned

"It's still a little weird but I already knew mom before we found out that she could take control of my body to do things," I said as he nodded. "It was more of the switching back and forth between who was in control and who wasn't."

"What are you doing when you aren't in control," he asked as I shrugged

"We're just watching what the other's doing while giving each other some advice or someone to talk to," I answered as I closed the laptop and put it on the nightstand. "Get up off of the floor, you can sit on here," I said as Percy chuckled

"I came here for a reason," he began as he stood up

"What's that reason," I asked him as he smiled

"You need to meet your grandfather," he said as I chuckled and Annabeth groaned. "You got the dagger," he asked as I nodded, "good because some people may not take to kindly with a new person in the waters with me."

I smiled, "Annabeth just said that she can help back me up," I said, "does Renée know that I'm going with you?"

Percy nodded, "She's letting you spend the weekends here up until the summer," he explained. "She mentioned something about another adoption into the Hamilton family that she's concerned about," he added as I grinned

"I believe I know whom she's talking about," I said as he arched an eyebrow, "recently a friend of mine named Samantha Edwards lost her parents to an accident. She's been staying at the theater for the past week as the cast decided whom to adopt her," I explained

"Why wouldn't Renée want to," he asked as I stood up, "you can strap her sword to your waist they may not attack if they recognize the weapon strapped to your waist."

I nodded before I started explaining while working the weapon around my waist, "I'm the second adopted child in Renée's household and Lin noticed that there's more than friendship developing," I said as I finished strapping the sword to my waist with a faint blush. "I didn't exactly realize that I was right until the day he told me and mom told me to take care of her or else she'd kill me herself."

Percy chuckled, "I would like to meet her if you're falling for her," he said as I smiled shyly, "don't worry, I'll support you."

"I wasn't worried about that," I began, "you support Nico and Will," I paused remembering Leo's excitement before I left the Rec Room. "I might know where his child is," I finished as we made our way to the door, I looked up to see Percy's arched eyebrow

"How so," he asked me as I smirked

"Similar eye color," I began, "she also gets to be very hyper, loves to create nicknames for everyone. Her skin is almost the same color as his too but her hair doesn't match," I paused in thinking. "She's about as creative and hyper as him when she's in a good mood," I finished as he chuckled

"Well," Percy began as he opened the door, "I think you should look to see where his tracker is pointing to see if you're right."

I arched an eyebrow, "He put a tracker on his daughter," I asked as we walked to the beach

Percy chuckled, "Yeah," he began, "it's in a necklace that would grow over time," he explained. "It's sort of like our camp necklaces but more durable," he added

I pictured the leather necklace that held a metallic gem that Sammy wore all the time. "I think I've seen it," I began, "did he show it to you?"

Percy nodded, "Yeah," he began, "he showed it to Annabeth and me before he put it on her to make sure Cal wouldn't get suspicious."

"Is it a leather necklace with a metallic gem on it," I asked as we approached the beach

Percy stopped and turned to me, "Yes, it is," he answered, "was it on her?"

I nodded, "She wears it all the time," I began, "says that she has the faint memory of her father giving it to her."

Percy chuckled, "That fits," he said then looked out towards the sea, "you know how to swim?"

I glared at him, "Before I was orphaned, I swam as much as I could," I began, "I went to the beach once and my mother said that I almost drowned myself in the water because I loved it so much."

"Her words or yours," he asked as Annabeth laughed in my head

"My words," I answered as the images of mom telling me and my friends that story popped into my head. "But yes, I know how to swim," I answered as he started laughing. I rolled my eyes before I stepped into the water. By the time Percy caught up I was already waist-deep but my clothes were still dry

"It looks like your grandfather already recognizes you," he said once she caught up to me

"Well let's see how much he blessed me with," I said before kicking off into the ocean after taking a deep breath. I could see perfectly; the water was clear as I saw every fish

"Try speaking," Percy said as he swam next to me, "as you can see, I have the ability to breathe underwater, you may have that if you're still dry."

I nodded as I let out the breath that I was holding, the water didn't enter my mouth as I breathed in clean air. "This is amazing," I exclaimed and Percy chuckled

"Come on," he began as he began swimming ahead of me, "I believe your grandfather wants to meet you."

I nodded before I started following him, throughout the trip I heard voices in my head asking who I was

Is that one of the children of the Sea Prince?

You have my permission to give them a scare, Annabeth said in my head as I smirked swimming next to Percy who only nodded

"Yes, I am the daughter of the Sea Prince," I answered, "my name is Zoë Jackson, I mean no harm."

The fish was silent after I answered as the circled me, I looked at Percy as he sat back and smiled

We had a few guesses since we only saw one other person with that bone sword at her waist, one of the fish began. Thank you for your confirmation, my lady, we will leave you and the Prince so you can return to your trip.

"Thank you," I said with a polite nod and smile before they swam away, "I'm going to need to get used to the formalities, am I?"

Percy chuckled as we continued swimming, "Yeah, even Annabeth got used to it after a while," he said as we slowed down. "We're here," he added and I looked at the land before me

It was an underwater palace with a village surrounding it, it was made of sea marble as it towered over the largest coral. "Wow," I gasped as Percy swam ahead of me

"It's pretty awesome, isn't it," he asked once I caught up to him, "there're still repairs being made to it but it's almost back to its former glory."

"This is Atlantis," I said with my eyes wide, "this is exactly how I pictured it," I added as Percy chuckled

"You are just like your mother," he said as we approached the gates

"Lord Perseus," one of the guards said, "who is this that you bring with you," he asked

"How many times do I have to tell you guys to call me Percy," he groaned before answering the guards. "This is one of Lady Annabeth's and I's children, Lady Zoë Jackson," he said introducing me as I bowed as best as I could in the water but I soon ended up somersaulting in the water. "She's still learning the ropes," Percy added with a chuckle

I shot a glare at him as the guards let us through, "If Annabeth knew how to bow underwater, she would have told me but you never taught her."

Percy chuckled, "That's because you don't bow while swimming Wise Kid," he said as Annabeth sighed. "Even more so if you're part of royalty," he began, "Poseidon isn't one for formalities," he finished as we made our way to the palace

"Well, that's good to know," I said as we made our way to the door, "I don't exactly want to get used to titles and palace formalities."

Percy chuckled once more after talking to the guard who opened the doors, "Neither did I but sadly I had to get used to it for Amphitrite since she is all about formalities," he explained with a groan.

"Well it's a good thing that I watched a lot of movies with royalty and read a lot of books with it," I said with a smile. "I do know some things about royalty around the world," I added as Percy grinned

"Good because this is more along the lines of England royalty and Olympus is more along the lines of ancient England like kneeling until you are told to rise," he explained as I nodded

"So, gentlemen do a small nod while the woman of the court do a small curtsy here and in Olympus, we bow on one knee," I asked as Percy nodded

"Precisely," he said as I smiled

By the time we reached the throne room, I had the phrases "Your Royal Highness" or "My lady" said to me with each passing merperson and fish. Soon enough the guard opened the door to the throne room which was massive and amazing

"Percy," Poseidon bellowed from his throne, I looked up to see a giant man in Bermuda shorts and a Hawaiian shirt as his face bore a smile. "What brings us the pleasure," he said indicating Amphitrite who was sitting next to him

"Good evening father," Percy began as he bowed his head and I curtsied, "and Lady Amphitrite," he added nodding to her as well. "I have come to discuss what the camp has discovered about Annabeth and one of our children," he said

"Does this lady provide the answer," Amphitrite asked as Percy nodded then looked at me

Introduce yourself as Lady Zoë Nightshade Jackson, she prefers full names, Annabeth said as I curtsied once more

"Good evening Your Majesties," I began, "I am Lady Zoë Nightshade Jackson," I finished looking up at the two giants sitting before me

Poseidon bellowed in excitement and the next thing I had a man standing at about six feet and smelling like the sea hugging me. "It is good to see one of my grandchildren, I had blessed you all when you first swam," he said as Percy's eyes widened

"I for one am glad that she has manners like her mother," Amphitrite said as she smiled, "it is a pleasure to meet you, Lady Zoë Jackson," she added as she gave me a hug

Well that's unexpected, Annabeth said as I smiled and returned the hug

"It is a pleasure to meet you too ma'am," I replied, "if you may, should I tell you the revelation about my mother?"

Amphitrite stepped back, "Yes," she began, "do so, I see that you have her weapon at her waist which was a good idea on Percy's part."

She finally got used to calling him by Percy now, that's good, Annabeth said as I sighed

"For starters, we do not know how this happened and who's the cause of this but we will figure out how to fix this," I began as the King and Queen of the sea looked at me expectantly. "Annabeth's conscious is in my head," I said as both of their eyes widened

"Two things," Poseidon began, "does Athena know yet," he asked as Percy and I shook our head. "Do you have proof," he asked me as I nodded, "then would you please show us?"

"Yes, I will, just please don't be startled with what may happen," I said as they both nodded

Are you ready to switch, I asked Annabeth as she sighed

As ready as anybody could be about talking to their in-laws, she said as I chuckled before she took control. "Good evening Your Majesties, it is me, Lady Annabeth Jackson," she said adding in a curtsy of her own before looking the King and Queen in the eye

"This is a little startling but not too much," Poseidon said as Amphitrite looked in shock and awe. "Your mother is going to bombard you with questions so I'm going to ask one," he said as Annabeth nodded my head. "If you are Annabeth Jackson what did you say when my son first woke up after defeating the minotaur?"

I sat laughing in the back of my head as Percy snickered from behind the King and Queen, "I told him that he drools in his sleep," she replied shyly as Poseidon looked towards his son for an answer. "You don't know the answer," Annabeth began as Percy nodded confirming the answer was right

"No, I didn't," Poseidon said with a lopsided grin that mimics Percy's, "I just wanted to find out what his love first said to him when he woke up."

Percy chuckled as my cheeks burned in Annabeth's anger, she strode over to my laughing father and judo-flipped him. "Why couldn't you tell him that yourself Seaweed Brain," she asked as Percy continued to laugh

"Because I wanted to see if you remembered," he said as she glared at him even more

"Yep, that's Annabeth," Poseidon said with a chuckle, "how long did you know that you've been in your daughter's head daughter of Athena?"

Annabeth stood up while helping Percy up, "I've only known since the night before she returned to school from winter break and a shooting. So about three days," she answered

"That is a good thing to know because I'm sure your mother will ask that same question once you see her," he said. "But for now, I think the two of you should rest and that Zoë should do something about knowing the people in her element. Something tells me that Percy can turn down godhood only so many times," he added looking at the laughing figure of his son who stops abruptly

"I sincerely hope that you're kidding father," he said as Poseidon is shaking his head

"I feel that my time as a god is coming to an end," he said, "but enjoy your time while you can. Introduce Zoë to your brothers and then you should probably introduce her to Sally," he suggested as Percy nodded. I felt Annabeth look over to Percy in shock then back at the god of the seas

"Are all gods feeling this," Annabeth asked as Poseidon shook his head

"Only the Olympians, that is aside from Zeus," he said as Percy snorted

"He wouldn't admit to it," he said as Poseidon chuckled, "but we'll be ready when the time comes," he added as Annabeth made my head nod. "Annabeth, could you give Zoë control of her body back so I can train her and introduce her to Tyson and Triton?"

"That is fine Perce, it's a lot to move in her body," she said before I was returned to the forefront of my mind

"It is weird seeing those eyes change like that," Poseidon said as Amphitrite nodded

"It feels weird when you don't have control of your own body but we both established a point where we are both clear with who's taking control," I explained as they nodded

"Come on Zo," Percy said, "I want you to meet Tyson and Triton. Maybe we'll get the time for you to meet your grandmother before the harpies come."

I smiled before I caught up with Percy who was walking downstairs into a dungeon, "Tyson's at one of the forges," I asked as Percy shrugged

"That's what I'm guessing," he said as we soon entered a room that was as hot as a volcano. "Tyson you in here," Percy called out

"Brother," a loud but cheerful voice exclaimed before a brown-haired giant hugged him

"Hey buddy, I missed you," Percy said as he struggled to breathe

You're dealing with this one on your own, Annabeth said in my head as Percy and Tyson talked

"Who's this beautiful lady," a voice asked from a table, "Ella does not remember seeing her."

Before I answered I looked over and saw a woman that had shaggy red hair and brown eyes along with wings and the feet of birds. "Good evening Ella," I began with a nod, "I am Zoë Jackson, Percy, and Annabeth's eldest child."

The next thing I knew I was barely breathing in the chest of a giant, I warned you, Annabeth said as I mentally groaning

"Big brother's daughter," Tyson cheered, "that would make me an uncle wouldn't it?"

When he asked that he stepped away from the hug giving me a chance to breathe. At that moment, Ella decided it was best for her to perch on my shoulder, I nodded my thanks to the harpy as Percy nodded. We talked for a bit before Percy lead me to a training area

"Okay," he began as he took out Riptide, "let's see how you are with your weapons, you can use Annabeth's sword and your dagger, just no powers and no help from your mother."

I smirked as I put my hair up into a high ponytail, "You got it, dad," I said as I took out the drakon bone sword with my left hand and rotated my right wrist. Soon enough I was in a fighting stance with my dagger in front, the blade pointing away from my wrist, and the sword behind me in more of a relaxed angle. Percy smirked as a shield appeared on his wrist

"Let's begin," he said before charging me

I rolled from his first strike and swung the sword at his ankles which he blocked with his shield. I then went to damage his sword arm which was above my head as he raised it to strike. He blocked the sword with the shield again but hissed in pain as the dagger made contact with his skin. I then kicked his feet from under him which made him fall and drop Riptide. I then pinned him with my sword arm and my knee as I held the dagger to his throat.

"Yield," I asked as he looked at me with shock

"Yeah," he said with a small nod, I got up sheathing the sword and dispelling the dagger. "How did you do that," he asked me as I smirked

"A lot of wrestling and movies watched along with me being a huge book reader and a child who was abused I may have imagined defending myself with any weapon that I could imagine," I explained and he whistled

"Annabeth wasn't helping you at all," he asked as I nodded

"She was silent during the whole thing," I answered

That was impressive, Annabeth said to me as I smirked, I don't think I could take him down that quickly.

I chuckled, "That's interesting to know," I said as Percy's shield shrank

"What," he asked as he checked his pockets for Riptide and nodded to himself

"Annabeth just said that she was impressed and also said that she doesn't think that she could take you down that quickly," I replied as Percy chuckled

"When you beat people like your mother and Clarisse I'll be impressed even more," he said. "What do you want to do, if I remembered correctly you said you wanted to talk to Leo," he asked as I nodded. "Well let's get back to camp then," he said as I smiled

Once we got back to camp Leo was running around frantically as if he was looking for someone, "Valdez," I called out making him jump. "What's wrong," I asked him

"You are just the people I was looking for," he said, "more you than your father come with me."

As he said this, he promptly grabbed my wrist a led me into the woods

"Where are you taking me, Leo," I asked as he flashed an impish grin in my direction

"Bunker 9," he exclaimed as I chuckled, "I got some questions for you about my daughter and how the dagger is."

I smiled, "Well one of those things is what I wanted to talk to you about," I said then thought to Annabeth

Mental note to talk to Poseidon about the fact of him blessing all of his grandchildren as soon as they went swimming.

Noted, I was just thinking that myself, she replied just as we came up to a rock formation that had two handprint

With a grin, Leo put his hands in the handprints and soon enough his hands glowed with fire and the doors opened. I then stepped into the bunker as it was littered with all kinds of mechanical things.

"So, what do you want to start with," he asked as he walked over to a workbench

"One of your children," I began, "I may know your daughter," I told him as I compared the similarities with him and Sammy

"How," he asked staring at me with a murderous look

I shifted in my seat that was a nearby crate, "I was talking to Percy who mentioned a tracker," I began. "There's this leather necklace that my friend Samantha wears, the cord is of soft durable leather while the gem looks sort of metallic. She's told me that she's had it her whole life," I explained. "I asked Percy if that was the tracker and he confirmed it," I added as Leo's eyes brightened up with the same kind of happiness that Sammy has when she sees me or someone suggests singing

"That's the tracker," he said, "where would she be right now?"

"Either Richard Roger's or somewhere to mourn the family she's been with her whole life," I answered almost instantly. "Did I answer whatever questions you had about your daughter," I asked as he nodded before jumping out of his seat

"My tracker works," he cheered as I chuckled, remembering Sammy cheering like that once I got back from my last check-up since the shooting. "Why were you talking about her," he asked as I blushed

"I may or may not be falling for her," I said, "I've already gotten a death threat from Annabeth so I'd understand if I got one from you or Cal."

He nodded, "Good that you know," he said, "now how does that dagger work? I have two pens, a ring, and one more bracelet with your name on it."

I rotated my wrist to show him, he instructed me to throw it

I threw it across the bunker, as soon as I heard the thunk of it hitting its target I felt the bracelet reappear. "I may have beat Percy in a weapon only fight with this," I answered when I was asked how it felt wielding it

Leo let out an impressed whistle, "Nice, how quickly did you take him down," he asked as he turned to the work table

"Fast enough to the point where I didn't break a sweat and that I impressed mom," I answered as he let out another whistle. "Percy said that he was impressed but he said that he'd be even more impressed if I defeated Clarisse and mom in a fight."

"Now that would be a hundred times more impressive," he said, "defeating both the fighting machine that is Annabeth and the woman who was blessed by Ares to kill a drakon would be quite the accomplishment."

I smiled, "That it would," I began, "but I think I'd have my work cut out for me with both of them."

Leo chuckled, "I mean have you seen Clarisse fight," he began, "she's like Percy and likes to keep her enemies the length of her weapon. I think the person that you'd have more trouble with is your mother since she can adapt to any weapon that she's been given."

I prefer more close-ranged and logical attacks, Annabeth said nonchalantly

"Yeah, that fight's going to be a little harder than Clarisse's," I said as Leo chuckled. "It seems that Annabeth and I have the same fighting style but I'd have one more weapon."

"It seems like you're more like her when you think on your feet," he began, "I mean you kicked Percy's legs from under him when you were crouched. You gave yourself enough time to do that after you pierced his sword arm, his shock gave you enough time to pin him and place your dagger at his neck."

I blushed for the second time since entering this bunker, "Thanks Valdez," I said, "now what's this I hear about having some more weapons?"

"As long as I can see Annabeth's sword, I want to make some enhancements so it doesn't look so dull and so it doesn't break when it comes into contact with one of you swords," he said

He can have it, Annabeth said with a sigh, he's the only person I'd trust to maintain that sword.

"You have a deal," I said taking it off of my waist and approaching the bench

That night I gained two swords, another dagger, and a bow; the next day I took down Clarisse in a fight in front of the whole camp before I met Sally. After meeting the rest of my family, I went back to the theater and spent the rest of the day with Sammy and the cast.
