A dark cloudy portal opened in the middle of the room and Zack fell from it, but managed to land on his legs standing. "Whoa, how I ended up here? Is it some kind of trick David played? I don't think he can summon portals though." Zack said to himself.

Zack relaxed a bit after hearing that it was not David's doing. "So, Nyx, what do you want from me? I have to go college you know."

"Don't worry about that, if you spend a day in here it will be a second in your world. And for what I want, I like to have a deal with you." Nyx said nonchalantly.

"What type of deal? And what's this goddess thing? I heard about heavenly war, but don't tell that is real." Zack asked curiously.

"Of course, heavenly war is real. It happened mainly between the gods but it also included demi-gods." Nyx said with a hint of sadness on her face. "I, too, with some gods died in the war. And I want to resurrect me so I can take my revenge."

"Why would I do that? Gods, wars, revenge, none of that are my business." Zack said carelessly. "If you done talking, can I go back?"

"Well, well, since you will not help me, you will meet the same fate as your father." Nyx said angrily. "He too declined to help me."

"So you killed my father?"

"Yeah, he was not willing to help me so I killed him, with that ring can go to its next holder. I don't want to wait years, so he could die a natural death. You are angry with me?" Nyx summoned a chair and sat on it.

"Zack, I am not asking you to help me because of pity or something like that. I will reward you generously. Heck, I will even make you a god if you help me. With that you can live for eternity." She said while resting on the chair with her one hand on her cheek.

"It's true that I am not interested in God's stuff but I don't want to die so early. But you don't look very trust able either."

"Well, I am an evil goddess. But I have lived here for hundreds of centuries and I am not interested in fooling a mortal." Nyx was trying to convince her. "We can make a contract with each other so it will be impossible for us to betray each other."

"A contract? Is there any thing like that? Let's form it then"

"We need another god to make a contract so can't do it now. We have to do find a another ring whose spirit is a god." She said enthusiastically.

"Hmmm, where we find that? Anyway how can I resurrect you?" Zack asked.
