1 CHAPTER 01

"Come on!! Hurry up, I don't wanna be late for class" said Kyra while dragging her best friend down the hallway, hearing this Raven smiled a bit and said "Kyra, are you really hurrying class or just desperate to see Hans get in". Saying that, Kyra shot Raven a look that said 'never say that again'. Then after they got in their class and took seats at the back as usual. In a few minutes lunch break was over, everyone arrived on time except for a few. The professor also arrived for his session and greeted "Good afternoon class, I'm very grateful to see that everyone got to attend my class today because we're going to learn something very important", then he paused for a minute; reading the student's looks he found out that some students were missing. When the professor was quite for a bit the class started murmuring and it made an irritating noise. " Class attention please!!!! " he called out in louder tone, and went on "I've decided that I should start with a roll call just to be sure with your attendance today." He started calling out names "Ashley Donaldson", "...present" "Blair Willows", "...present" "Catherine ...". The names went on until he mentioned " Hans Walker" and the class was silent, he called out again "Hans....", nobody answered. Then he asked " Where is Hans? Is he absent today?. " Here I am, Sir" replied Hans himself as he stepped in the class with his friends. As he got in all girls in the class screamed in awe staring at him as he was the hottest guy in Harvard College University, in addition to that he was smart too and teachers regarded him as among the best students in college. Then that professor asked "Hans did something happen during lunch break, it's unusual for you to be late"." My apologies sir, I got summoned by the principal earlier so I had to be at his office before coming here" he replied. " Oh! It's absolutely okay, now go and get seated...you too Jace and Kevin " The two were Hans' best friends, they were together for years. Hans went straight to his seat at the front row together with his friends who sat at different places, the moment Hans got seated Kyra who was busy pretending to look down lifted up her head and glanced over at Hans' direction then the next minute she looked the other way.Kyra was a bit different unlike other girls in class who whenever they saw Hans they couldn't help but stare at him, others admitted to how handsome he was. Many were like that but she never showed that she somewhat admired him or anything, and her best friend knew that.The session was over then and everyone started heading out from the class except Kyra and her friend. Raven got up and said " Kyra let's go, everyone is already out" Kyra who was still seated looked up at her and said "Just go Raven I'll meet you at the bus stop, there's something I gotta do first, okay?". "I don't wanna go by myself again, you always do this. Giving me excuses and promising that we'll meet at the bus stop which sometimes you don't keep that promise and keep me waiting for you" replied Raven. "I'm sorry if I broke your promise, I'll make sure it won't happen again trust me Raven". Raven sighed " Okay, I trust you" then she started walking out and Kyra shouted behind her " I'll catch up with you later". Right after Raven was gone Kyra proceeded with what she was doing, she was completing writing something on paper and at the end the words read "... I'll wait for you, love Hanyr" then she folded up the paper nicely and placed it on someone's desk when she was through she packed up her things and left. When she got out the college's building she started to run worrying that she might keep her friend waiting for a long time.

In the front there was a huge crowd of students who stood idly, not interested to know what was going on she accidentally bumped into someone and fell on the ground. Kyra felt really embarrassed so she never looked up to see who that person was and ended up apologizing "I'm sorry, I didn't see where I was going", someone behind her picked up her bag for her and handed it while the person Kyra bumped into tried to help her get up. Hans was eager to know the girl who bumped into him and extended his hand to help her get up, in the meantime other students stared at Kyra to see if she was going to accept Hans' help especially the girls who stared in jealousy. Kyra didn't wanna know who the person was since she was too embarrassed to look up she took and got up fast hiding her face and run throughout the rest of the crowd, everyone was surprised to see a girl ignoring help from someone like Hans. Everyone except the jealous girls who were very happy to see that she didn't get help from him.
