'Its warm.....this must be a womb....cant wait to see my new body...better be a total ladies man.'
I open my eyes to see a yellowish soft but gooey wall, I do a little stretch to get a feel for my body, pushing against the walls...*pop*
Suddenly all the fluid in the womb starts to flow out and walls close in becoming suffocating, out of desperation I reach my hands forward to try a push the wall away but my hand goes straight through the wall.
'Did I just stab a hole through my new mother?'
I quickly pull my hand back but then look through the hole....
'Is that an egg?'
I then come to a sudden realisation, it all made sense. Why my body felt different when I stretched, why the walls are so weak...
'Im not a human.....some kind of animal'
I quickly rip through the remainder of what I now know is my egg and climb out to the ground in clumsy steps. I look at what I thought were hands.....pincers. I remember picking the option of having a tail so im not a crab....I try stretching my tail and bringing it forward, it does as I command.....stinger.

I notice 5 DP ready to use but before I put it to any use I needed to figure out the best way to kill other animals and level up.....venom sac sounded like the best option, especially with the large number of unhatched and vulnerable eggs.

I then chuck 1 DP into my legs just for some more mobility and the other 4 into my venom sac...which made it so my poison was 5 times more lethal then a normal larvae.
I quickly got to work inserting my stinger directly into the egg opposite mine and release poison. I watch as the scorpions health goes down.

This continued for a full minute before it died...I felt some guilt,but consoled myself by saying it was necessary.
when I got to my 5th larva is when I finally leveled up and spread my DP across all my stats equally while leaving out the venom sac.

The process of me killing my kin was repeated for an hour and a half....I killed about 70 of my kin with short gaps of rest and eventually reached level 4....Seems like killing level 0's doesnt help much after a while. At this point my body was noticeably bigger with more fluid movement and stronger poison.

I discovered that my ability absorb allowed me to basically absorb my dead prey into my body through my tail and use them as nutrients which was much more convenient then having to eat them.
After an hour I came across a much larger scorpion at the edge of a hole where light was spilling through, I went up to it realising it must be my mother but as I got closer and eventually came into contact, it remained unmoving and according to its status.........dead.
Dont know what killed it but I decided their was no point in sticking around so I quickly took my leave coming out into an open forest......the perfect hunting ground, trying to stay positive I decided to keep my little hole full of my dead siblings as my hideout. So until I became strong enough to walk into the open forest I would kill small things like myself and hide out in my scorpion cave when it got dangerous, leaving my dead mother acting as a scarecrow.
