2 Suspicious

How could it be?

The CEO Shin Keir holding a woman's hand is a myth! It's as impossible as the existence of vampires and shapeshifters!

Secretary Yun couldn't recover from the shock and just stood there like a living corpse.

---

"Can you let go? I think you're the suspicious one!" Yeri tried to recover her hand but she was easily led away like a paper tiger.

"We'll know once we talk."

"There's nothing to talk about I'm not adopting you."

Shin paused, not understanding her comprehension.

Is she still drunk?

Yeri rolled her eyes in response, who is suspicious?!

The godlike dog turned out to have no owner and is shamelessly clinging to her!

Sorry, she prefers an obedient and cute baby!

Shin ignored her complaint and soon noticed Secretary Yun standing by the car with an idiotic face.

"You didn't go home?"

Secretary Yun shockingly kept his gaze on the stunning woman, sizing her up from head to toe. "Boss...she's a woman?"

"Otherwise?"

"Oh- oh my apologies miss!" Secretary Yun frantically nodded.

Yeri found Secretary Yun's expression amusing, he looked older than the godlike dog but was also good-looking. "Don't I look like a woman to you?"

"The lady is so beautiful that I thought it was a goddess rather than a woman." Secretary Yun immediately composed himself, as Shin Keir's long-time secretary he was quick-witted

Yeri lightly laughed, "Thank you for your compliment, I'm Yeri Zhi."

Secretary Yun was stunned, indeed she's a real woman! What a dazzling smile!

"I'm CEO Keir's secretary just call me Secretary Yun."

"You're a CEO?" Yeri nonchalantly glanced to her side.

"..."

Shin who was ignored for a minute was clearly unhappy, the audacity of these two to exchange names!

Secretary Yun broke into a cold sweat, did he somehow upset his boss? And why is she unaware of his boss's identity weren't they together last night or was it another woman?

What a scandal!

"Not answering means you are suspicious!" Yeri teased.

Secretary Yun almost choked on his own saliva, is she tired of living?

Where did she get the courage to accuse his boss of being suspicious?!

"Just get in the car!" Shin gritted his teeth and hauled her inside.

"When did I agree to ride with you? This is obviously abduction!" Yeri gave him a death glare.

'We sleep together and still accused others of abduction?' Shin sneered inwardly not knowing why he was putting up with her nonsense. "Where to?"

Yeri pretended not to hear him.

"You want to go home yourself, do you even have money?"

"...Ah!" Yeri's eyes widened, it was then she realized that she didn't have her purse.

"Don't bother going back to the hotel, you weren't holding anything when I carried you last night."

"I don't?"

Shin had a mocking expression, "Heh~ I thought you remembered everything last night, so you lied?"

Yeri wracked her brain to remember, her friend Nina most likely had her purse.

"Just drop me to SC University."

Secretary Yun drove out of the parking lot while listening to the two bickering, today's boss is so unknown to him! Simply too scary!

---

It was the morning rush hour and traffic was at a standstill, particularly in the Sin City central area.

Normally, Secretary Yun would feel troubled afraid that the boss would find him inefficient but today is a good day!

The devil's attention was on the lady sitting beside him.

"You said you're Yeri Zhi, from which Zhi family?"

"Our household isn't that prominent so you probably haven't heard of us."

"Why SC University?" Shin asked as he tucked some hair behind her ear.

Yeri didn't mind his action and simply answered, "I'm a student staying in the girls' dormitory."

"College or graduate degree?" Shin could guess she was from an affluent family since that school was known among the upper class.

"Do I look old to you?" Yeri casually tilted her head. "I just turned 18 though, still in high school."

"..."

Shin felt uncomfortable, unconsciously lowering his gaze to her chest...how could an 18-year-old have such ample bosom?

So there's an 8-year age gap between them, will she mind?

Also, SC University has a lot of outstanding men from different prominent families but after last night can he assume she isn't dating anyone?

It doesn't sit quite well on him thinking she would date another guy after sleeping with him, that should count as cheating!

Besides, is there anyone better than him?

"How about you Mister, how old are you?"

'Mister?' Shin frowned, this seemed to be the first time his unhappy at his age.

"Do I look old to you?"

"CEO's are old."

"How many CEOs did you meet to think that way?" Shin looked at her warily.

"My father, he's old."

"..."

He suddenly doesn't want to talk to this suspicious woman anymore.

"Since you're a CEO what kind of company you're running?" Yeri asked out of curiosity.

Looking at the man's godlike appearance, expensive attire, and the car they were in, she wasn't skeptical of his occupation.

"KV Global Group."

Yeri tilted her head, the KV global group she knew is a giant conglomerate leading in technology with hundreds of global affiliations and subsidiaries.

"Which KV global group?"

Shin gazes at her with scrutinizing eyes and the corners of his mouth curve upward. "Is there any other KV global group you know of?"

Yeri furrowed her brows, utterly confused. "You are the CEO of KGG?"

"Hmm..."

Secretary Yun couldn't help but listen to their conversation, these were the times he felt proud working with the president.

However instead of expecting a word of astonishment from the lady what he heard almost caused him an accident.

"Such a monarch company would let a baby like you run it? Say it, you're a stand-in aren't you?"

Shin Keir didn't know if he should get angry or laugh, is baby supposed to be a compliment or an insult?

"Don't you think you have a twisted prejudice against CEOs?"

"Rumor has it that the CEO of KGG is a good-looking old man but an infamous woman hater." Yeri sighed and eyed him, "You are mean but I don't think you dislike women."

Secretary Yun unknowingly chuckled, his boss finally reaped what he sowed!

Just how many countless women tried to approach his boss only to be cruelly rejected?

Shin threw him a murderous glare and darted back to her, "When was I mean to you?"

"Since you woke me up!"

Secretary Yun's eyes widened, indeed they were together last night!

Truthfully, Yeri couldn't be bothered if he was a CEO or whatever, they would have nothing to do with each other once she got off.

"Aren't you going to ask for my name?" Shin was completely annoyed, this seemed to be another first time for him.

Is he unattractive or she's just good at pretending?

"Okay, what's your name?" Yeri dryly asked.

"Shin Keir."

Yeri once again tilted her head, his name sounded familiar.

Despite her little to no interest in society's gossip, the name Shin Keir is simply too prominent, particularly among the elites.

He's a young master from the notable Keir household with a heaven-defying profile except- he has a terrifying personality.

'Keir'...the powerful family behind the company KV global group?

"I understand now, your father is the CEO of KGG?"

Shin simply smiled.

"So you're really a stand-in?"

Violent coughing sounded within the car, Secretary Yun who looked like a corpse with his bloodshot eyes turned to her eager to clarify the misunderstanding but Shin's cold glare forced him to swallow his words.

"Whatever suits you," Shin replied.

Yeri nodded without interest, "Are we almost there?"

"It's rush hour so it will take some time, you have something important to do?"

"I want to sleep."

"Then sleep, I'll wake you up once we arrive."

Yeri yawned, the godlike man is not as bad as the rumors.

"If you don't mind me asking, are you married?"

Shin who was no longer annoyed felt blood rushing back to his head, sure enough, this woman is retarded!

Is he a scumbag in her eyes?

"What do you think? If I'm married doesn't that make you my mistress?"

Another violent coughing permeated the air, Secretary Yun dared not look back but his ears seemed to be malfunctioning lately.

"Oh~ I just thought it was better to ask than assume."

"I'm not!"

Yeri nodded, "Then I'm not a mistress...you are a good person."

Shin: "..."

The two of them somehow exchanged mobile numbers and not long after the car halted in front of SC University.

Yeri doesn't see any wrong if he wanted to keep in touch, she was never the conservative or clingy type so perhaps they can be friends...with benefits, ahem!

"Then I'll get off here, thanks for the ride!"

However, a strong arm wrapped around her waist and propped her back.

"???"

"Why don't you get to know me?" Shin demanded.

"Huh?" The godlike dog is desperate to be adopted, what is he up to?

Before she could ask, Shin unlocked his phone and showed him some searches with the name 'Shin Keir'.

"..." Yeri's gaze swung between the man beside her and his phone with a dumbfounded expression.
