1 Chapter 1: My darling

He knew that Jasmine could never give him the love he wanted.. But he also knew that he would never give up.

The intensity with which he desires her love, now it is impossible for him to forget her.

And while everyone was enjoying the function with each other, she was sitting alone in a corner, lost in her own thoughts.

And the sadness on her face was hurting Adam's heart. He wanted to see her happy, he wanted to make her his own, but Jasmine is not allowing this to happen because of her past.

Without thinking, he moved towards her and stood in front of her. Startled, Jasmine raised her head and looked at him in surprise.

"I have something to talk to you about... alone..." Adam said in a gentle tone. However, his heart was pounding against his chest.

"I know what you want to talk to me about..., but my answer is still no..." Jasmine said in such a way that hurt his heart.

But he still can't give up.

Not today.

Not ever.

"I'm waiting for you in the waiting room... if you don't come in five minutes, I'll take you by the hand myself." Adam said, challenging her with his eyes.

Not having any other option, she gave up and nodded.

The emotions that were clearly visible in his eyes always made her forget herself.

She knows Adam well, if he wants to talk to her at this time, she can't run away from it, she always gives up against his stubbornness. Except for his one wish, which cannot be fulfilled even if she desires it herself.

She got up from her seat and strode after him and entered the waiting room which was for the bride.

Due to the photoshoot of the bride and groom, everyone's attention was on the stage, and, luckily, none of the people noticed their absence.

Adam was standing in front of her. As soon as he saw her coming in, a beautiful smile appeared on his handsome face.

It didn't feel right to meet Adam alone, but she has faith in him.

Adam asked her to sit on the sofa in front of him. She wanted to refuse, but then she silently sat down.

Seeing her sitting down, Adam moved towards the door.

Watching him walk towards the door, she felt the chills.

Why is he closing the door?

But contrary to her imagination, instead of closing the door, Adam opened it wide. And turned towards her.

She felt ashamed of her stupidity.

"I was sure you would come," Adam said with a smile.

"Adam, what do you want to talk about...?" Without beating around the bush, she asked straight forwardly. Not wasting both of their times.

At her question, Adam closed his eyes and took a deep breath. But just after a few moments, when he opened his eyes, he looked dead serious.

"I want to marry you."

"You already know my answer. I can't marry you." Jasmine didn't want to give him any hope.

"You've been saying this for three years. Why are you doing all of this? Why are you hurting us both? I know you love me too. Then why do you want to ruin yourself because of that heartless person's refusal?"

Adam was getting angry at jasmine, she was hurting them both every day because of that person.

"... I can't ... I'm not ready yet" from Adam's harsh and sad tone. She couldn't control herself and emotionally broke down.

Seeing her in this way, Adam realized his mistake, but he was still unable to control his frustration.

"Why aren't you ready? That person has already left you and is living his life happily. Then why can't you just forget him too?!

Jasmine's answer was only silent tears.

"Jasmine, can you think of me just once?"Adam said in a broken tone, his own heart was breaking, but looking at her tear stained face, he desperately wanted to hold her against his chest. However, he has stopped himself from doing so.

Because his love has not given him this right yet.
