1 Morning!

Her nose twitched slightly, as she took in the scent of freshly cooked food but she turned away from the door and continued to sleep. A flood of comfort rushed over her and caused her to doze off to slumber yet again. Gently the doorknob turned, a figure stepped into the bedroom and walked towards the curtains. With a powerful pull, he separated the two curtains and allowed the light to flow into the room which bathed her in the warmth of the morning sun. She opened her eyes ever so slightly before she abruptly turned her back to the window and yanked the blanket to cover her head. The man walked over to the other side of the bed, climbed on it, pulled the blanket down and gave her a peck on the lips. "Babe. Wake up, I made breakfast and I have to go to work soon," he said in a soft voice.

She grunted for an answer and pulled the blanket back over her head; he sighed and exited the room. He returned with a weapon, a damp towel, seized her blanket and proceeded to drop it directly on her face. She angrily tore the towel off her face and sat up, whilst he laughed. "Ok! Ok! I'm up. Did you really have to do this?" She exclaimed.

"You left me with no choice. I tried waking you up nicely. Your expression was hilarious. If only your fans can see it, they would be shocked," he laughed, which caused her to laugh along with him. "Doesn't this remind you of when we were younger and I had to wake you up every day so you could go to school."

"It's exactly the same as back then," she replied before they both stared out the window and reminisced of their childhood.

On the table were fresh fluffy pancakes topped with berries which sat there and waited for her. Her eyes lit up, she grabbed the maple syrup and poured it on the pancakes. "Your pancakes are the best," she said with her mouth full. She gulped down and continued, "I ate a lot of pancakes but none can compare to yours!"

He sat across her and stared at her with a loving smile, the happiness she felt while eating the food he cooked – was his happiness as well. It allowed him to be able to love the skill he acquired. "I love you so much."

She looked up, and met his eyes, "What did you say?"

"Nothing," he glanced at the clock. "Oh no. I'm going to be late, I'm going to go change. Can you put my lunch in my bag?"

She chuckled as she finished the remaining of her breakfast, washed the dishes and packed his lunch in his bag for him. Just in time, he went out towards the door wearing his suit and his tie hanging around his neck. She approached him and tied his tie before going on her tippy toes to give him a peck on his cheek. She grinned, "It's like we're newlyweds."

He blushed and quickly said goodbye before rushing to leave. After she closed the door, she went and washed up.

With a towel wrapped around her hair, she sat on the sofa in a hoodie and sweatpants with a cup of tea as she practised her lines.
