'What the f*** was that!?' James thought to himself, looking at his surroundings to see if the strange voice had come from elsewhere.

'F*** My luck is 1 and my singing & dancing is really that bad!? Whats up with this lazy a** skill rating and how do you even calculate luck???' He scanned his stats before once again remembering his auditions and that he could check this out later. Dashing off in the same direction of Rosaline, Onlookers thought they were watching a tragic breakup from James's look of shock and how he'd 'chased after Rosaline'.
"Rosaline!? Are you also here for an audition? and was I called up to audition yet?" James had a look of panic and shock simultaneously, seeing that Rosaline was also in the waiting room with him at the studios and that he came 30 minutes late.
"Yes and no" Rosaline's face matched his, they had only split up an hour ago who would've thought they'd meet again that quickly.
Before the two could continue conversating, a man entered and said "Next James Li! Please make your way to the stage." James took deep breaths and his eyes narrowed as he switched from his usual act to his serious self. Whenever he had to act he would be like this with no time act about.
*Ding* You got a Quest! Wow the Judges with your Acting skills!

'A Quest? This is how it normally goes so maybe this actually is real? That or I've gone crazy. I really should check in with a Psychiatrist later...' James didn't let that bother him and threw it to the back of his mind along with those pictures he received from 'XXHotModels'...
"Talk later Rosaline!" James said before running off to the audition stage with the scene he would be performing in his hand.
The movie he was auditioning for was Hostage. Unexpectedly, James's great fortune struck again! and he missed the audition for the other movie and all he could do was curl up in a ball and cry. The roles for the male lead and the female lead was already reserved by two big actors and he was gunning for the second male lead, the one that assists Ryan in catching the robbers and getting his family out safely. This wouldn't be an easy role to get as pretty much 80% of the male actors auditioning were vying for this role. Also, the second male lead gets a hell of a lot of screen time with the male lead so your acting is going to have to be on point.
"What is your name, age, nationality and what role are you auditioning for?" A stern looking judge asked out of the four there. Of course, they already knew this information and they only asked to see how the auditioner presents himself.
"My name is James Li and I am 22 Years old. My nationality is Canada and I am auditioning for the role of Andrew Anderson" James said out loud without a hint of nervousness. He had done this many times before so how could he be nervous?
*Ding* Identifying role...
*Ding* Identification completed! Role: Senior Police Officer! Proceeding to assist Host with experience...
"Very well, Please perform Scene 23 where Andrew gets a phone call from Ryan telling him about the situation."
James quickly got into act. His expressions were sharp and his lines were said clearly. His body language and movements were top notch.
"..." The Judges were speechless. Initially, they'd thought that his acting skills would be so-so and they got this mindset from one look at his resume which was filled to the brim with failed Tv series & Movies and the fact that he only got the chance to perform due to respect for his Agent. The way he performed this scene was exactly how they wanted it and the detail he put in was astonishing.
*Ding* Congratulations! The host has successfully completed the Quest!

Even James was surprised at his acting. Although he didn't want to admit it, it seemed the system played a part.
'It felt as though I've been a policeman before! F***! If I can actually improve my skills with this system my dream would be possible...' Just the thought of achieving his lifelong dreams made James grin from ear to ear.
"Well, I must say your acting skills are quite remarkable. I believe you should expect to hear good news from us soon Mr Li." A Judge said smiling. After all, none of the auditions for these roles was anywhere near as good as this one and after a quick talk, they were 99% positive he was the one.
"Thank you," James said. nodding his head excitedly. How could they not be shocked as even he was left drooling over his own performance.
"So how'd it go?" Rosaline asked expectedly, judging by his odd expression she couldn't tell whether it went good or bad.
"It went great!" James said with that odd expression still plastered on his face.
Rosaline found out some things about James. He had a mixed heritage consisting of Chinese and Canadian. His parents were also bigwigs, owning big companies that specialized in Technology. Rosaline had assumed that James had also recently graduated from university but he had graduated a whole 2 years before her and was more experienced in this industry and was signed under S.T.A. She'd also attempted to get into S.T.A but was too late and their spots were filled.
James also found out a few things about her like how she was the daughter of Josephine Cooper and Robert Cooper and that she was the daughter of Josephine Cooper and Robert Cooper... Excluding that, she was also aspiring to be an actor like him and she was auditioning for the second female lead, Ryan's daughter, which was a tough role. She just graduated from university at 21 Years old and got signed under Everest Performing Arts(E.P.A) which was considered a top Agency like S.T.A.
I'm 22 and shes 21... There's a chance!' James thanked the Big G for this chance and promised to pay respects properly later. Rosaline was 21 so there was nothing stopping him from 'getting to know her'. She was a beauty all in all, with her frizzy brown hair hanging down to her shoulders, complimenting her attractive light brown skin showing her African-American heritage. Her face was pretty and smooth. Standing around 5"5 with a slightly tight light pink top and jeans that showed her figure, any man would covet her.
James felt his heartbeat speed up when they had to budge up a bit to let someone sit down, getting them closer. Rosaline wasn't an exception as she felt hers increase to feeling James's closeness. She could feel his breath on his neck and he inched closer. 'Was he going to kiss me!? What do I do!?' Rosaline's mind was overclocked from too much thinking.
"Next Rosaline Cooper! Please make your way to the stage!" The man from before once again came out and called Rosaline to audition and she got up to go audition. 'F***!, F***!, F***! Curse your Father, Mother and your Grandparents!' James shouted in his thoughts. He'd been so close to kissing Rosaline's cherry lips but this damn guy interrupted! Meanwhile, Rosaline was delighted that the man interrupted but at the same time was disappointed. Although she was 20 she hardly had any experience in love and this was the first time she generally felt something.
"See you, James!" Rosaline said before heading to the stage. James was pissed that he'd missed his chance but judging from her words she didn't seem to be mad. 'There's always other chances. Now, what do I do... Oh sh** I just remembered the Quest Reward!' James facepalmed at his memory and brung out his Stats...
