22 Chu Yuechan

Just want to say this again even though I've said it before.

THIS IS BASED ON AN OLD WEBNOVEL!

Yes, I have used some of the plots of the old one but I've said this would basically be a continuation with my own spin on it. I've already released some original chapters and all previously written ones have had major plot changes. I've completely changed how the characters interact and also some new additions such as Ace. I've explained more thoroughly certain things and also have content planned after where the novel was dropped. That was the whole point of this web novel. If you guys don't want to read it or comment saying I'm copying without crediting please just leave. It's in my description that it's an homage to the old novel.

Anyway rant over and please enjoy the chapter

Shuji was currently staring down at the unconscious young woman in front of him while thinking. "Chu Yuechan always covered her face with a veil in the original novel… Could it be that this is her!?" he thought. He closed his eyes and sat down while deciding to wait for the woman to wake up.

Meanwhile, Jasmine in the Sky Poison Pearl was feeling jealous. She didn't know who this woman was but he had just randomly decided to help her. Somewhere in her heart, she thought that her case was special and it warmed her heart thinking that. Now that she knew it wasn't, she felt extremely bitter.

"Hmph.. Don't call me. This Princess has decided to rest," she spoke before cutting the connection between them.

Shuji sighed to himself thinking about Jasmine. He did enjoy her presence but she reminded him of a child currently. She needed to be a bit older before he did anything to her.

"Bwahaha… Shuji's afraid of a little girl! Ahahaa…" Ddraig laughed.

"Ignore him Shuji… It's okay to not know how to talk to a female. It takes everyone some time to figure it out. Even if you're slower than others…" Albion said.

Shuji had a tick mark hearing this. Not knowing how to talk to a female?! Slower than others?! I already had a girlfriend once but I can't say it due to this stupid system!

"Hmph… I don't want to hear you guy's speaking. If I remember correctly you guys are still virgins are you not?" Shuji said with a smug face.

"P-PARTNER! We dragons only mate for life! Don't you dare bring us into this!" yelled Ddraig.

"Indeed. For once I will have to agree with Ddraig. For us who was at the peak of strength, there were simply no mates worthy of us." Albion said in a sagely tone.

"Pfft… Sounds like an excuse to me. After all…" Shuji went on.

"Didn't you guys have each other?" he said with a sly grin. At this, both Ddraig and Albion coughed up blood before fainting due to shock. They could not believe what Shuji had just said.

Their deaths would be remembered. ;-;

Shuji after offering a small prayer for his friends and looked towards the unknown woman who was now starting to wake up.

*************************************

When the unknown woman opened her eyes she remembered what had happened. She had found a patch of rare medicine near the Thousand Beast Mountain Range and took some. Some elders from the Burning Heaven clan saw this and decided to attack her for the drug as they also wanted it. They were all in the Sky Profound Realm and while she was as well, they were three while she was alone. The battle was in their favor so when she wanted to escape an elder used poison to knock her out where she fell and landed here. The elders did not seem to find a trace because she immediately used this last chance to hide in this place. She slowly sat up and looked around to find that she was not alone.

In front of her was a man wearing a black robe with red clouds. He sat there lying on the branch of a tree looking at her. The robe was opened at the center of his chest allowing his right hand to rest there. Underneath the robe, he was wearing a mesh shirt and a necklace. In fact, he had several types of chains on his right hand and bracelets and rings on his left hand. His unique appearance combined with his temper gave him a mysterious aura.

She tried to feel his profound power but was stunned! "A civilian? Or perhaps he's disabled?" she thought to herself. With her scan, she had found not an ounce of Profound Power. Strangely however she could feel that the poison inside of her had completely vanished. She stood up and decided to walk towards him. When she was in front of him she tried to reach out to touch him for whatever reason or you could call it an instinct. However, her hand stopped when it was only a few centimeters away when she heard a voice behind her.

"What are you trying to do?" he said with a deep voice and full of wisdom. She immediately turned towards him and reflexively strengthened her guard. He stood in front of her with his eyes still closed waiting for an answer. When she turned back to see where he was supposed to be sitting just now, she found the body disappearing into several crows. On the outside was still the same indifference and pride but inside she was very surprised.

"How did he do it?" she thought to herself. She faced him again before asking him a question. "Who are you?" she said with a cold expression and a chilling voice that came with it. The man opened his eyes which were full of indifference before speaking.

"Shouldn't you introduce yourself before asking who I am?" he answered calmly. The woman snorted this time asking in a threatening tone.

"I ask you again who are you?"

"Is that how you treat the person who saved you?" he said, not the least bit disturbed by her threat. The woman's cold eyes looked at him trying to find a lie. Eventually, she stopped and asked him, "What did you do to me?" The man didn't even look at her as he walked away to sit in his place. The woman was extremely angry because of this.

"Hey! I asked you–" she tried to say again but was cut off.

"You're cured so you can go now. I make it a policy to not speak to rude people," he said before closing his eyes and beginning to meditate.

"You!" she said angrily. She wanted to punish this insolent man but she knew he was not a cultivator. Although she wouldn't kill him she could at least punish him for his lack of respect. She walked toward him before hearing a voice in her ears.

"You're walking a very thin line… You may soon fall." He said as his eyes remained closed.

The woman snorted before thinking to herself. "I am an elder from the Frozen Asgard Sect and a Sky Profound cultivator! As if this civilian could do anything to me… Hmph." she thought to herself. Suddenly she heard him again.

"This is the main problem with cultivators… *sigh" he whispered. "When they think that their cultivation is higher they begin to ignore others… and sometimes this leads to their death… this is the sad ending for most cultivators…" he said. Right before Chu Yuechan could arrive in front of him, the three elders of the Burning Heaven clan came out.

"Chu Yuechan! It's no use trying to escape! We will always find you!" an elder sneered. "No give us the medicine and maybe we will forgive you if you're a good girl." another Elder said with a perverted grin. They were all looking at her with pure lust. Chu Yuechan was truly fed up with their behavior. She turned towards the man she had met before saying, "You must escape or these people will kill you."

Shuji opened his eyes and looked at her. "She's a little arrogant but she's still kind when it matters." he thought to himself. Shuji stood up and walked towards the three elders. Chu Yuechan who saw this yelled at him.

"What are you doing?! I told you to leave!"

He walked past her and arrived in front of the elders.

"Heh.. a piece of trash!" an elder said after seeing that the man had no Profound Qi. "Hehehe… did you think that by playing the hero you could save her, you piece of trash? She isn't even in the same world as you. We are cultivators and you're just some crippled trash. Why don't you leave before you lose your life." another elder said.

"*Sigh*... Cultivators really are arrogant," he said calmly.

This sentence only served to enrage the three elders. This crippled piece of trash really dared to insult them!

"You! Get down on your knees and kowtow 99 times! Otherwise, you can say goodbye to your pathetic life!" an elder cried out. They did not want to just kill him but embarrass him as he did to them. This was also due to them being jealous of his appearance. They couldn't accept that some crippled trash was better looking than them.

Chu Yuechan was about to get involved but Shuji stopped her. He took out his Zanpakuto while the three elders looked at him in amusement.

"Look! This trash took out a sword to fight us! Hahahaha…" an elder laughed. "What can he do without cultivation? Just some crippled trash!" laughed another.

Chu Yuechan who saw this was slowly thinking to herself. "What will he do?"

Shuji slowly drew his katana before speaking.

"Scatter Senbonzakura!"

Chu Yuechan and the three elders saw something that made them silent. The Katan was destroyed into millions of pink petals. The view of the scene was extraordinary. "Beautiful…" Chu Yuechan whispered to herself.

The three elders however felt something much different. Currently, they were frozen in shock as millions of petals raced towards them. The elders who saw this however quickly snapped out of it and smiled mockingly.

"This is only some sakura petals… Did you think this would make us afraid?" one of the elders spoke. They continued to stand there and wait because they didn't take the petals seriously. But when the petals made contact with them…

"ARGGGHHHH" they shouted as the petals cut them up.

*SHRING* *KA-CHANG*

These petals were extremely sharp and the petals immediately silenced the elders who were screaming in pain. Chu Yuechan looked very surprised by the slaughter that took place in front of her. Who would have thought that petals so beautiful were so sharp!

"It seems like judging something from their appearance can be dangerous…" she thought. As she thought of this she looked towards the man who had done this with a little sweat on her face. If they hadn't come it would have been her in their place!

Shuji then turned to look at Chu Yuechan with his Sharingan activated.

"It's not wise to judge others based on your own prejudice and based on their own appearance," he said to her.

These words made her shake as she stared at his eyes. The elders had made a mistake but it was too late now. Chu Yuechan looked over at the elders to find them all dead with the man taking their spatial rings. He then walked away to his old spot and sat down again. Chu Yuechan looked at the back of the man who could slaughter three elders with no difficulty and a calm face before deciding to follow him. Why? She didn't know but it was almost as if she knew it was the right thing to do.
