1 2 Sweet Revenge

Ha! I was proud I got my revenge! Remember that guy who dumped me because of another girl? Yes, that girl who was my friend slash cousin. Oh I remember, it was in my first year in university that he decide to pursue me again. What a joke! Like you had your chance then Chico but you lost it. He always dropped by at my dormitory, invited me to roam around town with his scooter and let me drive his scooter too. I remember when my beach overnight did it turn out well, he was there helping me figuring out some funds to make that party better. Tired I was I ended up sleeping at his place. Chill guys! Nothing happened except for that passionate kiss. But I still could not forget that pain he caused me in high school. After that kiss, I ghosted him and never saw him ever since. I got my sweet revenge!

One night, my roommate introduced me to this guy. He was way older than me like 9-year gap. But I always like mature men because it did not feel like I am babysitting a spoiled brat but instead I was being pampered with love that ended up me losing my virginity. Censored! I trusted him but not to the point that he would take advantage of me. I was devastated. I was raised in a very religious household so losing one's dignity had such strong emotional impact to me! I knew that even though he took my innocence, I could never be with a guy who was not successful I life. Yeah, he was kind but I was and still am a career woman. I preferred a guy who can feed me, clothe me and can put a roof on top of my head. He was not. I ended it up with him after 6 month. It was not easy as you always had that bodily cravings which I needed. So, I called him several after we broke up. Oh by the way I was also LDR with that guy who was far from me. That guy who has the same religion as me. In the Philippines, having the same religion is a big thing! This will help couples avoid conflict when it comes to religion as one may have a different stand point. So, he had a extra point among the other guys I dated so far.

Ending the relationship with, let us call him the F*boy, was okay with me because I had LDR boy. But then, it was like Typhoon Katrina when I found out that LDR boy started a relationship with a girl near him. I thought he was the one but he was not. I thought our relationship was real. He said it was peer pressure that led him to court the girl as the girl had a huge crush on him. I cried for a month. I decided to visit my childhood friend in the nearby barangay. On my way there, my flip phone was forcibly taken by snatchers. Wow! Double kill! A heartbroken with a snatched phone. Good thing I had an extra phone with me so I was still able to contact my dear friend and poured my heart out. I felt better. Though LRD boy and I were not in a relationship anymore, we kept as friends. I know what you are thinking. Yeah, I admit. I was hoping I could win him back. But it never happened up to the present. Do not worry after reading this book you will be happy for me. Anyways, where were we? Stilly love life, right?

Okay. I met my policeman out of this bizarre encounter. I got a notification that my package was ready to be picked so I went to the post office to grab it. The guy who was helping me asked me to fill out a whatever form it was but I left my phone number there. Little did I know that sneaky guy took my phone number and texted me. He was hoping that he could date me but I was too young for him so he referred his friend to me. Yeah, I know? It is as if I can only date guys from texting and using my phone. Youngsters these days had their tinder but back in my day, we just randomly text unknown numbers and hope they respond and you get a decent guy. I never got one. (Funny?) Anyhow, the police guy and I decide to meet up and we clicked! He was that typical tall, dark and handsome. He was almost too perfect. I loved him. My dilemma was how to tell him I was not that innocent girl he was hoping for because he was still pure before I met him. I was his first. He was not to me. But my! He was enormous! It's getting hot in here!

Our relationship was not perfect. It is as if I was mostly the one who says sorry to him even though he always started the fight that came out of nowhere. He was insecure. He was insecure because I was smart, pretty, graduated from a prestigious university and passed the civil service exam after one take without any reviews. Who can blame me? It was an easy examination after all. So, whenever we had a fight, I always visit his place which was an hour away from me in any hour and I always make sure I bring gifts to appease him. I got tired one may say. I dislike guys who are insecure. My father was like that to my mother. He is a guy who got no ambition for his children. I don't think he even consider us his kids at all. My mother and I fend for ourselves. I used my honorarium to pay for my rent, for my weekly allowance and on top of that I was a tutor too. My university years was not easy. I came from a poor family. I had to follow mother as she was the only one who made things work for us. She sent both me and sister to school with her own sweat so I could never say no when she said I had to take education degree when I flunked accountancy. I had several scholarships too on top of everything. I am grateful for this gift that God endowed upon me, intelligence. It helped me went through university and got a job where I had to teach five grade 8 classes. It was very challenging. My patience has always been lacking and classroom management was never my thing at all. I had to walk out from classes twice or probably more. Also, it is not helping that I had a rocky relationship with police boy. I guess I never told you, I had this huge crush in university. He was a mechanical engineering student. Aside from his looks and intelligence, he was very kind. He offered me tutorials for calculus which I never understood before and now it just came easy to me. I was flirting with him in text, (text again) in university. I usually changed my phone number probably 5 times a year so I prank him. I called him crush on every text and in our graduation day, I told him it was me. Police boy and I, our relationship was not the best anymore. You can never blame when when I decided to welcome another boy in my life, The engineer boy. He was doing his review in Cebu City while I was teaching in Cagayan de Oro city. Then, I told him my birthday is coming up and I love pizza . I think I ate pizza most of the week! Then, he said, "Well, I will order pizza for you and have it delivered." I said, "Okay. I appreciate the gesture." An hour later, he said that the delivery man would be there any minute. I came out from my dungeon and met up with this delivery man that turned out to be him. Surprise!!! He was so sweet!
