1 Chapter 1

Congratulations ,Mr Oliver , you are blessed with a baby girl" said the nurse as she carefully placed you in your fathers arms.

"Your father was more nervous than I was to hold you for the very first time " my mother delivered me the same instance of the day I opened my eyes for the very first time for like 50 ^ th time but with the same pleasure she did the very first time.

She was laughing with joy (just to make me happy ,cause I know her heart is crying) when suddenly we realized someone's on the door and I got up to attend the arrival .

" Hye eva,my sweet baby " my father shouted as to make my mom listen his terrible voice and snatched me for a forceful hug and placed a kiss on my cheek.

"Get outta here " my mother screamed as she saw the man she once loved the most talking to her like he never knew her .

"I will honey ,just sign the papers and I will make sure you never see me again "my father exclaimed in as disrespectful manner as he could.

" I will not ,until you grant me eva's legal custody and never ever trouble us again. "And here it goes again the promise my mom had asked for hundred of time to be granted by my father .But as far as I know him he is a stubborn ass and would never let it happen .

I am turning 18 next week and trust me , not even one of them would remember my birthday as past 2 years have been ...but they could fight over my custody for a long ..( trust me ..very long).

I don't know if they really want me or just fighting in vain but.. I have seen them quarrelling since I was 7 . I would hide behind curtains and watch my dad beat my mom in silence . I would hate it but couldn't do anything as I was very young .

FLASHBACK

And then suddenly one day I heard the scream of my mom and ran downstairs .. she was lying on the cold hard ground with bruises all over her face and pointing towards the door as she was making the 7 year old child aware of her dad's departure and a believe that he would never come back.

" Come to mom ,sweety " my mom called me and hugged me ,making me believe that everything will be alright .

I still remember the day my father left me and my mom lying on the floor without even looking back .

But now after 11 years he is back with his wealth and power and is willing to have me back by bribing me and my mom by an offer to live at his mansion for lifelong with life security which by the way we do not require now as we have been able to stand up on our own since he left us.

"Please listen to me sweetheart .kindly agree to my policies and have a joint custody for eva officially" my dad requested .

" No !! No matter what happens I am not leaving my daughter with you ,even for a single second."

My mom slammed the door on my fathers face and started crying ,sliding against the door ,on the cold floor.

I ran off to my room upstairs ,not being able to handle her break down , threw myself on the bed and started crying ,tired of the conditions my life is making me go through .

Suddenly I realised someone hiding under my bedsheet and I got really scared ...when my best friend covered my eyes from behind and surprised me by coming back from her annual trip to her beach house .

She was wearing black denim shorts and a white crop top with long brown boots ,I really liked her fashion sense ,and was truly convinced of her dream to pursue her career in fashion line and go to university of washington school of art and science.

We both also connected so much due to our dream to move to washington for our further studies and then have a successful life which will eventually lead us to new York working and living as happy adults.

But off course dreams aren't that easy to conquer but still we try our best to achieve them.

And keeping that in mind ,we gave the entrance exams for .......

Me , Washington university of law .

And leslie- Washington college of art and science .

Snapping me out in reality, " I bought you a gift "grinned leslie and picked few h&m shopping bags from back of my bed.

" Aren't they cool "she asked me showing some really fashionable casual clothes from the bags .

"Ofcourse ,afterall who bought them." I told her happy by the dresses she bought for me along with matching clutches and sandals.

"Ok ,tell me which outfit you liked the best and I will pair them with matching shoes and purse and you will be ready right now"she asked...ordered me .

"ok.... hmm...the white off shoulders along with this blue rugged

Jean's" I chose.

Okkh, so we will pair them with your white heels and and your oversized white purse ."she said with a grin

"Waittt ,where are we going " I asked with a smirk as I know this would again be something which will shock me instead of surprising me like those blind dates she takes me to .

"Its a surprise " she announced ,like always .

" No I don't want you to hook me with anyone this time ..please.

No it's not that trust me please .she said with puppy eyes which she know I couldn't resist.

" Ok ,but not something shocking "I requested

"Ya ya ,alright ,"she said and pushed me into the bathroom .

After 15 minutes I was all dressed.

"You look amazing"she squealed pushing me into a hug .

" thanks".
