Chapter 489- Peaceful life

Zara had dozed off in Declan's arms. Declan approached Yasmin, who was conversing with Julia.

"She has fallen asleep," he said. "Can you take her to the room?"

"Of course." Yasmin took Zara. She guiltily peered at Julia. "Sorry, I have to go now."

"It's absolutely fine. Get some rest. We will meet for dinner later."

Yasmin went back to the room.

"Where is Nicholas?" Alexander asked, approaching Julia.

"With Mom and Dad." Julia abruptly stopped speaking when she realized she had addressed Gerald as Dad. She lowered her head and pursed her lips.

Declan had a smile on his face. His sister finally accepted Gerald as her father.

Alexander, however, had missed her awkwardness as he looked around the hall. "Where have they gone? I haven't seen them in a long time."
