Chapter 265- An early morning phone call.

It was four o'clock in the morning.

Buzz-Buzz-Buzz…

The phone continued to vibrate on the side table. Declan was deep in sleep with Yasmin in his arms. His eyebrows twitched a little as he faintly heard the buzzing of the phone. He was too lazy to get up and go for the phone. He ignored it and continued sleeping.

Yasmin's sleep had also been disrupted.

"Um…" She nudged him. "Declan, your phone."

"Hmm," he only hummed, not bothering to check the phone.

Buzz-Buzz-Buzz…

In the silent room, the buzzing of the phone sounded loud.

"It is annoying." She nudged him once again and shifted her weight.

Declan sluggishly opened his eyes slightly and answered the phone.

"Hello, Mr. Wilson. Sorry for bothering you so early."

Declan took a glance at Yasmin to check if she was still asleep. He gently got down from the bed and walked out of the bedroom.

"Is there any update, officer?" He made his way to the study.
