119 Chapter 118- Amber’s strange behavior

Earl was finally able to come to check on Natasha after work. He had brought some groceries with him.

Natasha was not surprised to see him, but annoyed. She didn't yell at him either. A layer of sweat on his brow made her realize that he was tired.

She walked into the kitchen, taking the carrying bags from him.

"There is vanilla ice cream. Place it in the freezer."

She paused and looked back at him, a frown forming on his brow.

Earl walked over to her. "You like vanilla ice cream." His eyes glowed with affection as he yearned to touch her face.

Natasha looked away from him. She took the ice cream box out of the carry bag and placed it in the freezer. When she turned to face him, she had a solemn expression on her face.
