89 Chapter 87

Alex paced back and forth in front of the kitchen door. He was looking for Sebastian and one of the maids told him the older man was in the kitchen checking the dinner preparation. The maid he talked to offered to get Sebastian for him but he's still uncomfortable giving orders or letting other people do things for him. Even though Keith and even Sebastian told him that he can do whatever he wants, he's just not comfortable doing it. Maybe he'll get used to it eventually or maybe not but he's too anxious to think about it now.

Keith went to his parents home to have dinner and inform his folks about their marriage. The mere thought of his parents' reactions is making him agitated. It was hard with his own parents and with Mattie because it's mainly his fault for not telling them sooner, his family doesn't have an issue with Keith, they just want reassurance that he would be good to him, that he would love and take care of him, who he is and what he does for a living didn't matter at all. However, Keith's parents are different, their family is like one of the richest families in the country or maybe even the world and he's just a nobody. People like them marry someone from their circle or someone that would benefit their businesses. He's neither of those. He's getting anxious and agitated knowing they would not accept him.

Alex knows being anxious is not good for him and Bean which is why he needs Sebastian's help but he's too shy to ask anyone to get Sebastian for him.

Sebastian was busy checking the dinner preparation, it was just for Alex but he is pregnant and thus requires extra care. He wants to make sure the pregnant Omega is getting the nutrients he needs for himself and the baby.

"Make sure to use all organic ingredients, avoid any processed ingredients in making his food." Sebastian said to the cook but he immediately frowned when he noticed that she's not listening to him and was looking somewhere else.

Sebastian followed the direction she's looking at and his frown turned into a soft smile as he realized what or rather who the cook was looking at. Alex was peeping from the kitchen door, obviously looking for him but too shy to interrupt them. He immediately finished his instruction and headed towards Alex.

"I'm sorry to interrupt." Alex apologized as soon as Sebastian came out of the kitchen. He felt so guilty for interrupting his work.

"Oh no, you're not interrupting anything." Sebastian replied smiling. He wanted to tell the young Omega that everyone in the house including him is at his beck and call. They were all here to serve Alex as Keith's wife. "What can I help you with?" Sebastian tried to hold off himself from smiling looking at the fidgeting Omega.

"Ahmm… I wanted to ask you for a favor. Y-you s-said that I c-can do whatever I want in this house and t-that I only just need to ask you." Alex replied, biting his fingernails in nervousness. "Not that I don't like what the house looks like." Alex added when Sebastian raised his eyebrows. "It's just that I have nothing to do and I suddenly realized that I haven't seen the whole house yet. Basically I want to have a house tour if… if that is alright?"

Sebastian let go of the smile he was suppressing. Alex is just too adorable. Alex could have demanded it as it is his right as Keith's wife and yet here he is asking him a mere butler if it's alright to have a tour of his own house.

"Of course it is. Shall we start with the second floor first?" Sebastian asked.

"Can we start with the first floor first?"

"Sure! Hmmm why don't we start at the basement first and work our way up?" Sebastian suggested.

"There's a basement?"

"Yes, come follow me."

Sebastian led the way and Alex followed behind him. He was expecting a basement storage or something but he was surprised to find a room with a big couch, there's even a billiards table and a foosball. The room looks like a man cave and he didn't know Keith likes this stuff.

"Oh, this is not just for Keith." Sebastian said as if reading Alex's thoughts. "Chad insisted on that foosball and Jules brought that billiards table. Basically this is the room they used for hanging out. It's more like his friend's man cave than Keith's. This is actually the most used room in this house." Sebastian explained.

"Ohh okay. What is this table for?" Alex asked curiously.

"It's their poker table."

Alex scanned the room and he instantly smiled as he imagined Keith and his friends bickering and laughing in this room. He's glad that Keith has a place and a group of friends he could distress with.

"Do you want to remodel this room? We can remove all their stuff. I'm sure Keith won't contradict you." Sebastian suggested with an evil glint in his eyes. It would be a joy to see those boys cry and complain like some little kids throwing tantrums.

Alex laughed, somehow he gets what Sebastian is planning based on that smile of his.

"What are those doors for?" Alex asked.

"That one on the left near the billiards table is the bathroom while that other one is the home theatre room. If you like watching movies you would enjoy that room." Sebastian replied. "Oh and the other room from the basement entrance is the wine room. Would you like to see it?"

"No it's alright." Alex replied, he's not interested in wines or any liquor so he believed that room will not interest him. "Can we go up now?"

"We have four rooms in total on the first floor, one serves as Keith's study and home office. Two are guest rooms which I am occupying one of them. The other is the drawing room. We also have the dining room, living room and kitchen on this floor." Sebastian explained as they arrived at the first floor of the house.

"What is a drawing room?" Alex curiously asked. "Does Keith draw or something?"

"No, it's just how the rich people call their lounge room. Come I'll show you." Sebastian replied and headed towards the room. "This is the room where we would entertain guests, though this room has been rarely used since Keith doesn't entertain guests except for those rowdy friends of his which they mostly stay at the basement. Keith's mom was the only one who ever used this when she came to visit but now that you're here you can use this whenever you have guests."

"Ahmm Sebastian, could you ahmm tell me about them? You know, Keith's parents, what are they like?" Are they gonna like me? Alex wanted to add.

Sebastian stares at Alex knowingly. He knew that Keith went to his parents to tell them about Alex and he knew that Alex's sudden house tour is because of that too. He's using this as a distraction.

"It's alright if—

"No, it's okay. Hmm where should I start? My brother and I grew up with Keith's father, though my older brother is closer to him since they are of the same age."

"You have a brother?"

"Yes, my brother Alfred is the butler at the main house but he's taking his job more seriously than I am. Don't get me wrong it's not that I don't take my job seriously but my brother is just taking it on another level. He calls Keith's father Master and he wears an old fashioned butlers outfit. Yes, butler's outfit with cravat and white gloves." Sebastian laughed imagining his brother. "You see, our family has worked with the Andersen's for generations. The older Andersen, Keith's grandfather, is what I could call a fair man and a very good person but he treats us as servants whereas Keith and his Dad treat us as family. Lawrence is vocal that Alfred is his best friend, he used to get scolded for that and I guess that's one of the reasons why Alfred is very serious with his job. When Keith's grandfather died, Lawrence asked Alfred to not be so formal and treat him like he used to but my brother is stubborn so he's still like that. However when the two of them get drunk, he always asks Lawrence to bring him food and fill his glass." Sebastian laughed heartily as he recalled his brother's horrified face the following day.

"Keith's father seems to be a nice person." Alex replied meekly.

"He is. I'm sure he will like you." Sebastian smiled knowing that is what worrying the Omega. If Keith's grandfather is alive, there might be a great opposition but with Lawrence, Sebastian can confidently say that everything will be okay.

"Thanks, even though I know you're only saying that to make me feel better." Alex smiled bitterly. "We are worlds apart and we both know it. I'm pretty sure his parents would prefer if he married someone in their circle. His mom would be happy if he chose someone she approves of."

"Alex, Keith chose you, that's what really matters. Besides, if he really liked those socialites he would have married one already, but he didn't. He married you."

"His parents might think he only married me because of our bonding. What if they hate me? What if they won't accept Bean?" Alex said tearfully.

"Alex, Keith would be the last person to be manipulated by someone. Not even his pheromones can control him for something like this. As you've said, you two are bonded already, there is no need for him to marry you. You two are bonded for life. He married you because he wants to. I'm sure his parents would see how much you love each other and of course they would love Bean too. You know, even if his parents won't accept you I'm sure Keith will not leave you. He loves you. Just give him more faith." Sebastian said, giving Alex a gentle squeeze on his shoulders. He honestly believes that everything would be okay. He's not sure how the Andersen's would really react to the news but he can confidently say that Keith will not let anyone hurt his wife, even if it's his parents.

"Thanks Sebastian." Alex replied, wiping his tears.

"Shall we head to the second floor?" Sebastian asked with a wink.
