65 Chapter 63

"Hey man, what's with the gloomy face?" Jackson asked as he poured himself a glass of whiskey. "Have you done what Gabe told you to do? You said you got someone you could use right?" Jackson slump down on the couch beside Dwight who is having a glass of whiskey by himself.

"Yeah I have someone I could use and I did what Gabe told me to do but that's all useless. Damn it." Dwight cursed and threw the phone at Jackson.

Gabe, the private investigator Jackson referred to, told him to use someone as a tool to know Alex's whereabouts and he initially thought that Dan is the perfect tool. He just needs to download an application on Dan's phone then he will have access to the Omegas phone. He can view his text messages and call logs. He can even send messages as if it was coming from Dan's phone. It was a perfect plan.

Dwight observed Dan for a few days to see where he stored his phone when he used it. He had never observed anyone he's not interested in taking to his bed other than Dan. Not that he never considered Dan but at the moment there's no one who piqued his interest more than Alex Fernandez.

He managed to steal Dan's phone for a few minutes when he ordered the Omega to get some documents from the archive room. It wasn't hard as he timed it right after Dan read a text message, as he rushed the Omega to do his bidding Dan didn't have the chance to put back his phone inside his bag and left it on top of his desk.

"So you managed to clone the phone but you got nothing?" Jackson laughed. "Maybe you'll never really get the chance to win against Keith Andersen." Jackson teased Dwight and he angrily glared at him. "Just saying you know, you've done so much already." He shrugged, ignoring Dwight's death glare.

"That freakin Omega is useless. I even held his cheap phone and all I get from it is just messages from his grandparents and a few text messages from Alex asking him for lunch. That bastard Keith has that Omega heavily guarded." Dwight gulped down the whiskey in his hand and almost crushed the glass from how tight he squeezed it. Alex has never gone out of the Andersen building not even once in the last few days. He can't even find a chance to have a glimpse of him, except in the morning when he waits at the parking area.

"Man that sucks. Keith must have treasured this Omega so much if he's putting so many guards like that." Jackson said matter of factly, trying to rile Dwight some more. He understood how Dwight felt towards Keith as there a whole lot of Alpha's who felt inferior too. However, Dwight is on another level as he was used to being the leader of the pack before Keith Andersen went back to the country. So personally it wouldn't hurt to strain Keith's ego for once.

"Hey Dude! Look at this." Jackson grinned and threw back the phone to a bewildered Dwight.

Dwight grinned back when he saw the reason for Jackson's excitement. "Looks like I'm finally having my chance." Dwight read the message Dan received once more. Keith will be gone for three days for a business trip which means Alex will be left alone and he will finally get the opportunity to lure him.

"Keith might double the guards though." Jackson said, trying to provoke his friend further.

"Oh well. I have this." Dwight grinned, shoving the cloned phone in Jackson's face. "I thought all your ideas are useless." Dwight smirked at his friend who just shrugged as if saying "I told you so".

"Hey Dwight, do I get a taste of this Omega you desire so much?"

"We'll see, maybe when I got tired of him." Dwight replied laughing maniacally.

With Keith out of the picture, Dwight started to monitor Alex's whereabouts through the gps from Dan's cloned phone. He was ecstatic when the Omega finally left the building, he followed them at the restaurant where they were having their lunch. He even asked recruited Jackson to meet up with him for lunch.

"Hmmm I think I get why you're so obsessed with that Omega. He kinda has that eroticness in him though he seemed kinda down." Jackson said as he observed Alex from their table. "That other Omega doesn't seem so bad, he looks submissive. I wonder if he's like that in bed too." Jackson said, this time he's talking about Dan.

"Should we do them together?" Dwight offered and the two Alpha laughed simultaneously.

The two of them left the restaurant and headed to the coffee shop that Chloe frequented after her meal. Jackson was right on the money to have the rest of Keith's assistant followed and investigated too. Thus, they were able to "coincidentally" run into Alex and his group again.

"Man, the shocked face is so beautiful." Jackson described how Alex and Dan looked when they saw them at the coffee shop.

"The excitement of thrusting into Alex is killing me. I can't wait to have him. I'm sure he'll forget that bastard Keith in an instant." Dwight exclaimed, making Jackson laugh at him.

"You seemed to be in a good mood now." Dan stated. Alex came back with puffy eyes after his call but he appeared to be livelier than he ever did for the last two days.

"I.. I talked to Keith." Alex replied, rubbing his burning face with his palm. He didn't realize he was that obvious.

"Haha, I figured. Anyway, see you later, you still have me until today so bear with it okay?" Dan said teasing his friend. "Bye Chloe." Dan said to the Beta woman as the elevator arrived on his floor.

"The president is coming back tomorrow?" Chloe asked Alex when there's only the two of them and Colin left on the elevator.

"Yeah." Alex replied, smiling. Maybe he should ask Dana what time they are arriving tomorrow. Colin will probably drive him to the airport if he asks. Alex couldn't help but get excited at the thought of seeing Keith and his husband will definitely be ecstatic if he picks him up at the airport.

"Ahmm Alex will you be okay waiting here?" Chloe asked worriedly. Office hours ended thirty minutes ago but they still haven't left because Alex is waiting for Dan and she doesn't have the heart to leave Alex alone. Well he's not technically alone since Colin is here as well but that guy barely talks, Alex might get bored and be sad again. However, she's meeting her parents for dinner, thus she has to leave now.

"It's fine don't worry. I'm sure Dan will be done soon." Alex shoo Chloe away as he doesn't want to burden her any longer, besides her family is waiting.

Silence befell them when it was just him and Colin. They don't have any topic to talk about, apart from that he still felt a little embarrassed since he witnessed his outburst earlier while talking to Keith on the phone.

"Fi…Finally.. it seems Dan is done already. Yay." Alex said awkwardly when he saw Dan's name on his phone. Two hours have passed and probably most of the employees have clocked out already.

He immediately opened the text message expecting his friend to inform him they can go now.

"Alex is there something wrong?" Colin asked worriedly when Alex's face turned white.

"Colin.. Do.. Do you know.. Ahm.. Do you know where I can get suppressants as soon as possible?" Alex fidgets.

Colin brows furrowed in confusion, Alex is the boss' bonded pair why is he needing suppressants? In addition to that he is currently pregnant, thus not having his heat cycle.

"It's not for me. It… It's for Dan." Alex said as if reading Colin's mind.

"Ohhh." Colin finally understood. "Let me ask someone." He said and immediately called Sid for help, he's probably got some emergency suppressants on hand.

Fifteen minutes later, a man wearing a similar look with Colin came and handed them the suppressants they were asking.

Alex sighed in relief, he's worried for Dan. An Omega having his heat cycle outside of his home is dangerous. Though Dan assured him that he locked himself up in the toilet.

"Ahmm… Colin. I don't think it's advisable for you to come inside with me." Alex said to Colin when he realized he was still following him.

"Ohhh, yeah. I guess you're right. Here." Colin said as he handed the suppressants to Alex. He forgot he can't go near Dan with him being an Alpha an all. "I'll be waiting at the waiting area." He said referring to the couch near the elevator. Alex nodded and headed inside the toilet alone.

"Dan… It's me Alex." Alex called out as soon as he opened the door. "Dan?" Alex frowned, Dan said he would be here and yet he cannot smell his pheromones.

Alex turned around when he heard the sound of the door locking. His eyes grew wide when he saw who was at the door.

"What a coincidence again, you're here too."
