10 Back to the previous life

Diana, Jonathan, and Zosar popped out from a blue hole on the Nile river's other side. In front of them stood a massive royal palace gate with a lion statue on one side and a horse statue.

Zosar looked ahead of the palace with a complicated look. He clearly remembered how he died. They are only a hundred or more steps away from the castle.

Diana and Jonathan, unable to wrap up their heads of this outcome, looked dumbfounded with open mouths.

"Wow! you are a royal member for real, your highness. I have only seen a massive building like this in movies, in our time," Jonathan joked, looking at the building.

"From today on, I will avenge for my and my mother's grievances," Zosar murmured to himself and moved forward in the sand, which didn't go unnoticed by Diana. Each step of his showed his determination.

'I am torn in between the past and present now. What's the reason for me to be here..? I don't even remember a thing from my past life. Urgh! It's so frustrating,' Diana thought to herself.

After walking just for five minutes, she thought, 'this is all ridiculous.'

"Hey! You prince Zosar, stop right there..? Why did you involve us in this..?" Diana asked with irritation apparent in her eyes.

Looking at the Prince's cold face, Jonathan tried to cool Diana. Alas, she failed in noticing him and said even fiercely, "I have a family who is waiting for me in my country."

Zosar just looked at her, and Diana got even angrier than before, "ooh! You, I am talking to you. I want to go back to my time and my place. You send me right away. What do you think of yourself, you may be a prince, but you are already dead."

Jonathan, panicking, hurriedly interrupted, "Prince, don't be angry, okay..? You know she is the only child of her parents. She is worried about them."

Listening to this, Zosar turned back. He looked at her intently and then slowly opened his thin lips to ask, "my princess, don't you remember me at all..?"

The longing in his eyes made her choke on words but determined to go back, "I have never seen you before this. So how can I remember..? Moreover, you are already dead," she said in a matter-of-fact tone.

Zosar closed his eyes and then opened. His pure green eyes turned into the pale green with red flakes at the corner, then he slowly moved towards her and placed her hand on his cheek.

"Don't you remember me even now..?" He slowly whispered in her ear.

Listening to his husky and deep voice, Diana stunned, and the ground beneath her started spinning. Holding her head, she shook it vigorously.

Flash of memories from the past flickered in her mind making her more confused than before.

She closed her eyes for a brief minute and opened them again. Jonathan almost fell on his knees for the coldness and bitterness she showed in a fraction of a second.

His scorpion birthmark started turning into a gold color. Suddenly his eyes started turning into blue color whereas Diana got a pure white color feathery tail.

'What's happening to me..? From where did I get this tail..? Is this punishment for not believing in the goddess Isis..? My teeth, I feel like I am going to die. Am I going to die in an unknown place..? What would happen to my parents..?" gritting her teeth, Diana tried to endure the pain.

When she almost lost her consciousness, all of a sudden, the Nile river blossomed with blue water lilies. God Khonsu[1] and god Osiris[2] emerged from inside the Nile river under the bright light.

"Bear with the pain, for now, child. You will not die, but your body is gaining its previous life's memories along with the body features" god Khonsu with a sweet smile, looked at Diana.

"Since you came back from the afterlife, you possess certain memories with you, so use them wisely, boy," god Osiris commented with a simple look and looked at Zosar.

When Diana thought she would die for sure, her honey eyes turned into blue color, and in between her teeth, sprouted fangs. On her head stood two white bunny ears that are not completely visible.

Ignoring his surroundings, Zosar hugged her tightly, saying, "my princess, you are back. Do you remember me now..?"

"Cough, cough. Hey Prince! Are you going to choke me to death..?" Diana asked in return, circling her hands around her waist.

Jonathan almost puked blood for the scene unfolding in front of him. Never in his wildest dreams, Jonathan thought she would hug this Prince.

'What the hell is happening here..? Diana looks like a devil came from hell, and this man is hugging her as if his life depends on this little devil,' he thought to himself.

"Child, she can hear your inner thoughts. Her power is raw, so don't provoke her now," said god Khonsu while Diana's blue eyes raged in furry, remembering everything.

Looking at the sky, god Khonsu said, "prince Zosar, it's time," and moved his hand in a circular motion towards the water while god Osiris started uttering enchanted words in the Egyptian language.

A massive army from the other side of the riverbank flew to this side and kneeled to Diana. The head priest, Nafret, welcomed her, "My queen Parthena Nabil, welcome back. We were waiting for your arrival."

All the men and women in the army were good-looking. Men looked handsome and muscular, while the women were more beautiful than the average women.

"Since you three came to this life, it's your choices that make your lives worthy of this chance," said god Osiris and gave a pendant with blue water lily engraved inside the transparent marble to Parthena.

"You are destined to rule this vampire kingdom Parthena, unlike in your previous life. I hope you will utilize this chance wisely," said god Khonsu with a knowing smile.

Diana/Parthena nodded her head as she remembered everything now. She looked at Jonathan and placed her thumb finger on his forehead, and then closed her eyes.

"Woman, I am your only compassion from the present, don't you dare" Jonathan wanted to speak more but shut his mouth, looking at her now red-blue eyes.

She started moving her thumb finger in a circular motion. 'Wow, it seems she remembers everything. Is she making me remember my past life as well..?' he wondered, thinking to himself.

"Stop thinking about random things, Jonathan. You will come to know once you concentrate on what I am doing to you," Diana/Parthena said with her eyes closed.

Suddenly after a minute, 'why am I feeling this excruciating pain..? I will be blind and dead here without going back,' Jonathan thought and tightly closed his eyes while gritting his teeth.

Like Diana, he also got fangs and a tail, but his tail is blue, unlike hers. The blue color eyes and the blue color tail symbolize the Nabil family's Vampire breed.

The Heskel Nabil is the father of Parthena and died in a war between human royal and vampire royals. Currently, Parthena Nabil is the crown princess and the future queen.

The unique color of her tail and color-changing eyes made her one of the outstanding girls born in the Nabil family.

Jonathan remembered his past life and immediately opened his eyes wide as soon as he remembered everything.
